Spiritual Slang is a podcast hosted by me—Shannelle Ortiz! I'm an LA native, and have no filter when it comes to the issues I've been through, and how I've gotten through them—3 words, Won't He Do It! And by He, I mean God. You can expect lighthearted (sometimes heavy), transparent and always entertaining conversations about experiences/struggles that we've all been through, but rather not talk about. In life, relationships, friendships, careers, and more. Spiritual Slang is here to let you know that you’re not alone, and encourage you that there is a light at the end of every dark tunnel. Ivy Insights

The Spiritual Slang podcast is an absolute delight to listen to as an avid follower of Christ. From the moment I started listening, I immediately felt a connection with the host and her content. This podcast brings the word of God to life in such a relatable and refreshing way that it's hard not to get hooked. I have been exploring various podcasts in preparation for starting my own, and while many fail to captivate my attention for more than a few minutes, The Spiritual Slang podcast has me engaged throughout its duration.

One of the best aspects of this podcast is its structure and delivery. The host has a unique ability to present biblical teachings in a way that feels contemporary and relevant. Her use of spiritual slang adds a sense of fun and excitement that makes each episode incredibly enjoyable. Not only does she share insightful messages, but she also provides practical examples and personal anecdotes that help to illustrate her points. It's evident that she has put considerable thought into the organization of each episode, ensuring a seamless flow from start to finish.

Moreover, The Spiritual Slang podcast shines in its ability to highlight God's movement in our lives. Listening to this podcast fills me with joy as I witness how God is working through the host's words and experiences. The authenticity with which she shares her faith journey is inspiring and encourages listeners to reflect on their own relationship with God. Whether discussing topics related to prayer, faith struggles, or spiritual growth, every episode leaves you feeling motivated and uplifted.

While it pains me to mention any negatives about this podcast, there is one aspect worth addressing - its brevity. Each episode typically ends within 15-20 minutes, leaving you hungry for more content. While it can be challenging for the host to cover all aspects of a particular topic within such limited time constraints, it would be wonderful if episodes could be extended or supplemented with additional bonus material. However, it's important to note that the brevity also adds to the podcast's appeal, making it a convenient and easily digestible resource for those with busy schedules.

In conclusion, The Spiritual Slang podcast is a must-listen for anyone seeking an engaging and uplifting way to connect with their faith. The host skillfully combines contemporary language and relatable anecdotes to bring the word of God to life. With its ability to inspire, motivate, and entertain, this podcast is truly a gem in the world of Christian content. I highly recommend it to all fellow followers of Christ who are looking for a fresh take on spirituality.
