Episode 89 - The guys are back with more revalatory musical information for the week.  Eric starts the show by introducing everyone to MIDI guitar by Jam Origin and it's blowing his mind.  After discussing the idea of using a Tuba to create midi notes in order to synthesize a Tuba digitally the guys move on to the benefits of playing for Oktoberfest.  As the guys break into the news segment Art gets excited for more Prince music and Eric gives us the breakdown on how to get into musicology so you too can analyze music copyright issues.  This week the guys get to compare Ed Sheeran's music with Marvin Gaye's music and see if there is potentially a a copyright issue.In the songwriting segment Eric drops his new song he's working on called "All Done" and asks for feedback from the fans.  Tell us what you think. Episode 87 - The guys get together this week for another episode of music knowledge bombs.  Eric is sold on the Music Launch Summit unfortunately the VIP experience is more expensive now than it was when Eric signed up, sorry for the preemptive excitement.  Eric then goes on to discuss his adventures with 21 Pilots fan fiction, which turns out to be pretty weird.  In the news the guys discuss the songwriting associations that are suing the DOJ for their 100% rule and the implications for songwriters.Eric also learns the lifelong question of who wrote the "Doc Mcstuffins" song.In the songwriting section Eric decides to breakdown the lyrics for the song "No Limit" by Usher.  See if this song has mind-bending lyrics or if it's just another boring pop song. Overall the judgment is that this song has fantastic lyrics, but does not follow the block style of the each verse building in the previous to enhance the story or picture the songs is trying create.  Does that lessen the impact of the song overall?...that is for you to decide.
