Passionate about helping public institutions navigate the complexities of digital transformation, John works closely with city governments, state agencies, and public education systems to drive meaningful change through emerging technologies. He has played a key role in developing responsible AI frameworks, advancing the adoption of AI/ML in secure environments, and modernizing infrastructure with cloud-native, compliant solutions. John's work is grounded in a deep commitment to public service and innovation, especially in his hometown of Fort Worth, Texas. Lo hizo de manera anónima, como pedimos que se haga; así que, a pesar de que nunca se lo había contado a nadie, nos autorizó a que lo citáramos, como sigue: «Hace quince años tuve una [novia]... [durante el lapso de] siete años. Después de que terminé con ella, estando ya casado y teniendo mis dos hijos, yo sigo pensando en ella. Sueño [con ella] en las noches, a veces continuamente, y me deja un poco consternado y pensativo al día siguiente, y me [pregunto si] estaré siendo infiel en pensamiento con mi esposa a pesar de que la quiero con todo mi corazón.» Este es el consejo que le dimos: «Estimado amigo: »Es muy importante lo que usted se está preguntado. Debía permitir que pasara por esa prueba a fin de que entendiera cuán frágil podía ser sin su ayuda.Después de huir como todos los demás, Pedro siguió de lejos a la multitud que llevaba preso al Señor. Entró en el patio semicamuflado para no ser reconocido y poder mirar todo lo que sucedía con Jesús. Fue interceptado por diferentes personas que lo reconocieron como un discípulo de Jesús y en tres repetidas ocasiones contestó que no conocía a aquel hombre a tal punto que olvidó toda enseñanza pasada, todo pudor. Revivió en él el viejo hombre y, comportándose como verdadero mundano, no le importó el juramento ni las promesas hechas; lo único que le importaba era su pellejo.El gallo cantó, la mirada de Jesús buscó los ojos de Pedro y los halló. Ambas miradas se cruzaron, reflejando lo que cada uno quería decir. Pedro se mostraba avergonzado, frustrado, lleno de culpa y amargura, mientras que se veía la ternura, la compasión, la comprensión y el perdón en los ojos del Señor como si estuviera diciendo: «Pedro, ya sabía lo que ibas a hacer, pero te sigo amando».¿Te has sentido alguna vez así? ¿Tan avergonzado que no tienes deseo de levantar la mirada? Jesús ya lo sabe porque no ha terminado su trabajo en ti, Aunque te parezca irónico, poco probable o fuera de lugar, Jesús te sigue amando.¿Qué has hecho? No lo sé, pero él te conoce y sabe toda tu vida. A pesar de eso, te ama; no tienes por qué esconderte. Así es, no corras con tus culpas, cargando un costal que no puedes llevar. Ven a Jesús a pesar de tus traiciones o fracasos, el Señor sabe cómo moldearte y te ve lleno de misericordia. Solo él es capaz y solo él te tiene la paciencia necesaria, porque todo es por su gracia.

Hoy el Padre Ignacio se nos une desde la selva amazónica en Perú para compartir con nosotros su historia y cómo su fe lo llevó a convertirse en un rescatador de niños. El Padre Ignacio ha rescatado a más de 2500 niños de la venta de órganos, latrata, la prostitución y de la pobreza extrema. Hoy nos cuenta las gracias que ha recibido, como poder ver el rostro de Cristo en los que más sufren y de su opción por vivir y ayudar a los más pobres de los pobres. También, las dificultades del camino porque le han dado palizas y lo han intentado matar varias veces.   Ignacio María Doñoro nació en Bilbao en 1964 y fue ordenado sacerdote en 1989. Siete años más tarde se unió como capellán a las Fuerzas Armadas para dar asistencia espiritual a los militares en el norte de España. Participó de diversas misiones en el extranjero, como Bosnia, Kosovo y El Salvador, antes de ser es destinado a la Comandancia de la Guardia Civil de Inchaurrondo, un centro clave en la lucha contra ETA, donde permaneció durante varios años.  En 2002, estando en El Salvador, conoció a un niño al que sus padres habían vendido para el tráfico de órganos y que estaba próximo a ser entregado. A pesar del peligro, el Padre Ignacio lo rescató. A partir de entonces, el Padre Ignacio coordinó proyectos en El Salvador y abrió casas de rescate en Colombia, Marruecos y Mozambique, que dejó en manos de órdenes religiosas o asociaciones.  En 2011 pidió la excedencia como capellán de las Fuerzas Armadas y creó el Hogar Nazaret, ubicado en el Huallaga central (Región de San Martín), Perú, en una de las regiones de más difícil acceso de la selva del Amazónica. Allí da cobijo aniños, niñas y adolescentes que viven en la más extrema pobreza moral, emocional y material.  El Hogar Nazaret está compuesto por seis centros, dos destinados a niños y chicos adolescentes en la población de Carhuapoma, dos destinados a niñas y chicas adolescentes enel municipio de Bellavista, una escuela de fútbol en Carhuapoma, y el último, que está en construcción, seencuentra en José Pardo. El hogar de niñas es una réplica de El Rocío, un famoso santuario mariano en Huelva. Y en el hogar de los niños se está construyendo una réplica de la iglesia de Medyugorje, lugar de apariciones marianas en Bosnia Herezgovina. El Padre Doñoro ha escrito varios libros: “Hogar Nazaret sueño de Dios”, “El secreto es Jesús”, “Hogar Nazaret” y “El fuego de María”. La lista de premios y condecoraciones que ha recibido es extensa e impresionante.  “No tengo plata ni oro, pero te doy lo que tengo”: un espacio donde encontrarnos con el que verdaderamente nos llena, para que nos tome de la mano, nos levante y nos ponga en camino nuevamente. Aunque esta criatura está relacionada con el camarón común tiene una característica inusual y especializada.En su estado salvaje, si el camarón mantis encuentra un sabroso caracol, acciona su recargado antebrazo retráctil y destruye el caparazón. El antebrazo del camarón se mueve a través del agua a una velocidad de 80 kilómetros por hora. Tan rápido que causa cavitaciones, asimismo genera calor y un destello de luz mientras colapsan las burbujas. Y por supuesto, ¡el camarón mantis puede romper las paredes de vidrio de un acuario! Para hacer esto, el camarón debe generar doscientos mil watts de poder por una libra de músculo, algo que ningún otro músculo podría hacerlo. El camarón puede hacer esta tarea aparentemente imposible si almacena la energía generada por los músculos. Este camarón primero traba el brazo y luego contrae sus músculos. La energía almacenada de esta forma dañaría el brazo si no fuese por un diseño muy ingenioso de resorte. Este resorte en forma de montura puede acumular enormes cantidades de energía sin romperse al comprimirse. Cuando el camarón está listo para atacar, simplemente libera el resorte.El antebrazo del camarón mantis solo es una unidad que trabaja efectivamente cuando todas sus partes especializadas trabajan juntas.   «…Te ruego que me muestres tu gloria» (Éxodo 33:18) ¿Cuál dirías que es la característica principal de Dios? ¿Cuál es Su atributo más importante? Algunos dirían que es Su poder. Otros, Su santidad. Pero Dios mismo nos presenta una respuesta diferente. Puedes encontrar la respuesta en Éxodo 33. Moisés le pidió a Dios: «Te ruego que me muestres tu gloria». La traducción literal de la palabra gloria podría equivale a "peso completo". Se refiere a lo más pesado, lo más grande, lo más imponente de alguien. Es la suma total de su valor. Así que, lo que Moisés en realidad estaba diciendo, era: "Señor, quiero ver lo más pesado, lo más majestuoso de Ti, quiero conocer Tus mejores atributos". ¿Qué le respondió Dios? En Éxodo 34:6-7, leemos que: «Luego el Señor pasó delante de Moisés, y proclamó: «¡EL SEÑOR! ¡EL SEÑOR! ¡Dios misericordioso y clemente! ¡Lento para la ira, y grande en misericordia y verdad! ¡Es misericordioso por mil generaciones! ¡Perdona la maldad, la rebelión y el pecado…». ¡Tan solo piensa en eso! Cuando Moisés le pidió a Dios que le mostrara Su característica más importante, Dios le mostró Su misericordia. Eso significa que si vamos a imitar a Dios (Efesios 5:1), también debemos especializarnos en ese atributo. La misericordia, la bondad, el perdón y la compasión deben caracterizar nuestro comportamiento más que cualquier otra cosa. Especialízate en la misericordia para que los demás puedan ver la gloria de Dios en ti. Hunger Strike in English PrisonsIn English prisons five people, imprisoned under new repressive laws targeted at pro-Palestinian activists, are on hunger strike. Several of them will have been on hunger strike now for over 50 days. Richard Allen's appeal makes a stunning allegation: the search warrant that launched the entire Delphi case was built on misrepresentations. In 2017, witness Sarah Carbaugh told police she saw a man walking down the road wearing a tan jacket. He was muddy. In 2022, Detective Tony Liggett swore under oath that Carbaugh described the man as wearing a blue jacket - and that he was muddy and bloody. Tan became blue. Muddy became muddy and bloody. According to the defense, that's not a mistake. That's allegedly altering a witness statement to fit a narrative. But it doesn't stop there. Betsy Blair - the eyewitness who saw a man on the High Bridge platform - gave a detailed description three days after the murders. Young, early twenties, medium build, brown poofy hair. She rated her sketch ten out of ten for accuracy. Richard Allen was 44 with short hair. He looks nothing like that sketch. The jury never saw it. And according to the appeal, Liggett never told the judge about it either. Blair also told Liggett directly that she and Carbaugh saw two different people. The Indiana State Police agreed - they issued a press release in 2019 saying explicitly they were "not the same person." Then Allen gets arrested and suddenly they're the same guy. The car descriptions don't match Allen's vehicle either. Blair described sharp angles, not black. Wilson described a purple PT Cruiser. Allen drove a black Ford Focus hatchback. Without this warrant, no search. Without the search, no gun. Without the gun, no bullet match. Without the bullet match, no arrest. Without the arrest, no solitary. Without solitary, no confessions. Respondiendo él, les dijo: ¿Veis todo esto? De cierto os digo que no quedará aquí piedra sobre piedra que no sea derribada"» (Mat. 24: 1-2).El templo de Jerusalén (llamado por los historiadores «el Segundo Templo»), recién reconstruido entonces por iniciativa del rey Herodes el Grande sobre una plataforma sostenida por enormes bloques de piedra, era el orgullo de la nación de Israel. No es de extrañar que los discípulos de Jesús se sintiesen impresionados por su esplendor. Las palabras del Maestro debieron de chocarles, porque el templo representaba para sus compatriotas la presencia de Dios entre su pueblo.Sin embargo, menos de cuarenta años más tarde, en el año 70 d.C., las legiones romanas destruyeron Jerusalén e incendiaron el templo. Un bajorrelieve del llamado arco de Tito, levantado en Roma para conmemorar la victoria de ese general sobre Judea, representa a unos soldados llevando como trofeo el candelabro que iluminaba el lugar santo. Si algo había quedado de Jerusalén, fue completamente arrasado en el año 135 por el emperador Adriano.El famoso «Muro de las Lamentaciones» es solo parte de la inmensa plataforma de piedras que sostenía la explanada sobre la que se asentaba el templo.Por si esta eliminación de vestigios no fuera suficiente, el 18 de octubre del año 2016 el Consejo Ejecutivo de la Unesco «votaba» en París «la no existencia de vínculos entre el pueblo de Israel y las ruinas del Templo de Jerusalén». Como si la realidad histórica, como si la evidencia visible, fuera votable y solo dependiera de la opinión de una mayoría.De este Consejo, formado por 58 países, veinticuatro votaron a favor de borrar cualquier relación entre Israel y el antiguo templo. Solo seis (Estados Unidos, Alemania, Gran Bretaña, Lituania, Estonia y Países Bajos), se pronunciaron en defensa de la evidencia histórica de que Israel tuvo allí su templo. Hubo veintiséis abstenciones y dos ausencias.Esto significa que la destrucción profetizada por Jesús de que no quedaría del templo piedra sobre piedra se ha cumplido, tan literalmente que para muchos ya ha comenzado a desaparecer hasta la memoria de aquellas piedras.El templo había servido como símbolo visible de la presencia invisible de Dios entre nosotros (Éxo. 25: 8). (Ver también Núm. 11:33; 2 Crón. 36:16; Apoc. 14:10, 19; 15:1). Israel ya había experimentado la ira del Señor durante su travesía por el desierto (Núm. 11:33; 12:9) y en la Tierra Prometida (Jos. 7:1), y era plenamente consciente de las consecuencias de provocar la ira de Dios al quebrantar el pacto. Estos versículos representan el clímax de la severidad de la retórica de Josué. Resulta chocante oír que el Señor destruiría a Israel, ya que el mismo término se había utilizado anteriormente para referirse a la aniquilación de los cananeos. Tan cierto como que las promesas del Señor se habían cumplido fielmente en cuanto a la bendición de Israel, las maldiciones del pacto (Lev. 26; Deut. 28) también se harían realidad si los israelitas lo quebrantaban.
