On November 29, 2025, 19-year-old Brianna Aguilera fell from a 17th-floor balcony at the 21 Rio Apartments in Austin, Texas. She had been in town for the Texas A&M vs. Texas football game, tailgating with friends before ending up at a friend's apartment in West Campus. By 1 a.m., she was dead. Five days later, Austin Police declared it a suicide — without a completed autopsy, without toxicology results, and without processing a rape kit that had been collected. Her family says that's not good enough.Attorney Tony Buzbee, representing Brianna's parents, has publicly accused APD of conducting a "lazy" and "shoddy" investigation. A neighbor who lived across the hall has come forward claiming she heard screaming, arguing, and what sounded like a fight on the balcony in the minutes before Brianna went over. That same neighbor says police never entered the apartment and never interviewed her.Now the family has filed a $1 million wrongful death lawsuit against the Austin Blacks Rugby Club and the UT Latin Economics and Business Association — the organizations that hosted the tailgate where Brianna was allegedly overserved alcohol despite being underage. But the lawsuit isn't just about accountability. It's about access — to witnesses, phone records, and evidence the family believes APD ignored.Brianna's mother, Stephanie Rodriguez, says her daughter was afraid of heights and would never have jumped. She's calling for a second autopsy and demanding the Texas Rangers take over the investigation. Was this a suicide? An accident? Or something worse? The answers aren't in yet — and that's exactly the problem.#BriannaAguilera #TexasAM #AustinPolice #TonyBuzbee #WrongfulDeathLawsuit #TrueCrimeToday #Justice #CrimePodcast #BreakingNews #InvestigationJoin Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISDOES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? Hidden Killers With Tony Brueski | True Crime News & Commentary
Brianna Aguilera was a 19-year-old Texas A&M student who fell 17 stories from a West Campus apartment in Austin on November 29, 2025. Austin Police ruled her death a suicide just five days later — before the autopsy was completed, before toxicology came back, and before a rape kit was even processed. But the family isn't buying it. And neither is the neighbor who heard everything through the walls that night.Dannah Rodriguez lived directly across the hall from the apartment Brianna was visiting. At attorney Tony Buzbee's January 2026 press conference, she described hearing loud arguing, a girl's voice fighting with multiple people, and screaming — the kind of scream you make when something goes wrong. Her father thought the arguing was coming from the balcony. Minutes later, Brianna was dead.According to the neighbor, the resident of that apartment vacated almost immediately after Brianna's death. And she claims police never entered the unit during their investigation. So what were they actually investigating?Brianna's parents have now filed a $1 million wrongful death lawsuit against the Austin Blacks Rugby Club and the UT Latin Economics and Business Association, alleging their daughter was illegally overserved alcohol at a tailgate earlier that evening. But attorney Tony Buzbee says the lawsuit is really about one thing: subpoena power. If police won't investigate, the family will do it themselves. The autopsy still isn't complete. The toxicology still isn't back. The witnesses in the apartment have allegedly been told not to talk. And a mother is demanding the Texas Rangers take over the case. This is the story of Brianna Aguilera — and the questions nobody in Austin seems willing to answer.#BriannaAguilera #TonyBuzbee #AustinTexas #TexasAM #WrongfulDeath #TrueCrime #ColdCase #JusticeForBrianna #HiddenKillers #CrimeJoin Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISDOES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? Artspeak Radio, Wednesday, December 31, 2025, 9am -10am CST, 90.1fm KKFI Kansas City Community Radio, streaming live audio www.kkfi.org Producer/host Maria Vasquez Boyd welcomes Miller Bogart, curator/gallery owner Gallery Bogart and artists Garry Noland and Lily Madden. Drawing inspiration from the legendary collecting ethos of Herb and Dorothy Vogel, who amassed a world-class collection within the confines of a 450-square-foot Manhattan apartment, this exhibition challenges the assumption that monumentality equates to significance. The presentation features apartment-sized works by nine distinct emerging and mid-career voices: Napoleón Aguilera, Amanda Banker, Madeline Brice, Hector Dorantes, Monica Figueroa, Juan Diego Gaucin, Lily Madden, Gibran Mendoza, and Garry Noland. A Note for Collectors: Unlike a static exhibition, The Second Installment is designed to take a living form. Works are available for immediate acquisition and release, allowing the installation to evolve in real-time throughout the run. As pieces are collected and depart, the gallery environment will shift to reflect the fluidity of a true domestic space. Gallery Bogart 1400 Union Avenue, Kansas City, MO 64101 Exhibition Dates now through January 31, 2026 GARRY NOLAND-My studio practice is multi-disciplinary. The one constant is an openness to rough patches, glitches or mistakes. The presence of edges or boundaries between mistakes establishes immediate contextual and formal relationships. Those abutments mime our interaction with art and with each other. What goes with what? What happens on either side of the line? What's good and who decides? Sometimes I am the boss of the material but just as often the material, by virtue of a chance arrangement, for example, will tell me what needs to be done. These particular works are made of found and reclaimed materials from alleys, side street, thrifts and dumps. The base materials are combined with new materials. The resulting combination sets up the inevitable dialogue between the new/old: purposeful/accidental and play/toil. Art puns and mimes the systems and appearances we experience in both the non-human and human parts of nature. The oft-quoted role of the free press is "to afflict the comfortable and comfort the afflicted". Art's first cousin role then is to find the mundane in the grand and the grand in the mundane.

On November 29, 2025, 19-year-old Texas A&M student Brianna Aguilera was found dead outside a 17-story apartment building in Austin, Texas. She had been in town for the Texas vs. Texas A&M rivalry game, staying with friends at the 21 Rio apartments near the UT campus. Within days, Austin Police held a rare press conference to announce they were treating her death as a suicide - citing a deleted suicide note found on her phone, text messages indicating suicidal thoughts, and prior statements to friends. They say all evidence points away from foul play. But Brianna's family isn't buying it. Her mother, Stephanie Rodriguez, has publicly accused police of a rushed investigation and believes someone in that apartment is responsible for her daughter's death. She says Brianna was afraid of heights, was actively planning her future, and would never have taken her own life. The family has now retained high-profile attorney Tony Buzbee to pursue their own investigation. The questions are piling up: Why wasn't the mother notified for almost 15 hours? What happened in the two minutes between Brianna's phone call with her boyfriend and the 911 call? Why did none of the three women in the apartment see or hear anything? And what about the witness who says she heard screaming and running that night? Adding another layer to this case: another Texas A&M student, Grant Hernandez, died at the exact same apartment complex in 2019 under strikingly similar circumstances. His death was also ruled a suicide. His father says he never got the answers he wanted. In this video, I break down everything we know about the Brianna Aguilera case - the timeline, the evidence, the family's concerns, and the questions that still need answers.

When compared with the disgrace of Governor Jared Polis commuting most of the sentence for Rogel Aguilera Mederos, whose out of control semi incinerated five people on a Colorado interstate, the sentence for Tina Peters tampering with a Dominion Voting System machine seems arbitrary and capricious at eight years. They are often lumped together by the mainstream media, but Dan and Ryan make the case why Rep. Most people who buy life insurance never read the fine print. They're promised “stock market–like returns without the risk,” a retirement account that doubles as a tax-free loan machine, and peace of mind for their families. On paper? It looks like the perfect product. But what happens when the math doesn't add up, the illustrations don't match reality, and families find out, years later, that the policy they've been funding is set to collapse? That's the dark underbelly of the Indexed Universal Life (IUL) industry. And it's exactly what my guest, Jonathan, aka the IUL Exposer, has dedicated his career to uncovering. He's reviewed over 4,000 policies in just 18 months, uncovered systemic mis-selling, and even built a process that has helped families claw back over a million dollars in refunds. Jonathan isn't anti-insurance. He's anti–false promises. His work shines a light on how commissions drive product design, why regulators are warning against IULs, and how clients are left holding the bag when agents disappear. This episode isn't about theory, it's about hard numbers, legal battles, and the uncomfortable truths most of the industry hopes you never learn. Things You'll Learn In This Episode -Illustrations are a trap IUL projects steady growth that rarely happens. Why do clients still trust the numbers? -Commissions drive the product IULs are sold 10-to-1 over whole life because they pay the fattest commissions. What does that reveal about whose interests are really being served? -Refunds are possible Families often think their money is gone forever. How are some clawing back tens of thousands in refunds? -Indexes aren't what they seem Synthetic “uncapped” indexes promise market-like returns but rarely deliver. How are clients set up for disappointment from day one? Guest Bio Jonathan Aguilera is the voice behind @lifeinsurancerefunds on TikTok and Instagram, a platform dedicated to exposing misleading life insurance practices, breaking down complex policies, and helping families recover money they thought was lost. Licensed since 2012, Jonathan once built a national agency of 250+ licensed agents with Primerica. But when faced with the choice to “stay quiet to stay compliant” or speak up for what's right, he chose the latter. He resigned, surrendered his securities licenses, and walked away from everything he'd built to launch DTRT Financial, not just a company, but a movement. Jonathan isn't the suit-and-tie advisor chasing commissions. He's the guy who got fed up watching families get misled, overcharged, and under-informed. Through thousands of policy reviews, he's exposed the harsh realities of cash value life insurance while educating the masses on how to make intentional financial choices.
