A special episode of the podcast this week as PwC GPA Camogie Senior Player of the Year for 2024, Laura Hayes, joins Barry Drake for a chat. Last August, the Cork Senior Camogie team claimed a 30th All Ireland title for Cork, with Laura and her team-mates providing another memorable day for fans in the Rebel County. Clonbrien Treaty won the event last year, owned by Jim and Muireann Murphy and trained by Graham Holland, and was favourite to retain the title and bridge a gap that goes back to 1972. RTE's reporter Mike McCartney travelled to Limerick, where he first spoke to racing manager Jody Thompson, as he was making his final preparations.
