Vinnie identified Liver King as a steroid user early on. Anna didn't pay much attention to the Liver King before. (4:00) The documentary revealed egregious lies and unsafe practices. Dessicated liver supplements can be great for you if you choose not to eat liver. But just like many other supplements, there are good brands and bad brands. (6:15) Anna created a list of takeaways from the documentary. The documentary is called “Untold: The Liver King” and is currently available on Netflix. (8:15) What you see is not what you get. Vinnie and Anna call out what didn't make sense in Liver King's reality show. The Liver King has been exposed as making unsavory decisions in life. Vinnie and Anna have been podcasting since 2012 and have previously been nominated for awards. (27:00) They discuss the ethics of some influencers in monetizing their platforms. Some of the information exposed during the documentary was that the Liver King was taking approximately $11,000 per month in steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs. (38:00) Steroids are dangerous—they can be deadly. Pro bodybuilders have died because of them. (40:00) Supplements like dessicated liver can be beneficial, but vary widely in quality. Dessicated liver *with fat* is the optimal version to purchase. They are great to have if you don't eat enough meat, or if you don't care to eat liver. It wasn't until these  three products came out that the year/decade/century of automation was officially upon us.  Philips Hue Smart Bulb - Philips essentially defined smart lighting and is used in 50M+ homes for ambiance/security the world over. Many have copied Philips but for us nothing beats these lights. Nest Learning Thermostat - The Nest Learning Thermostat revolutionized home climate control as the first smart thermostat, pioneering the category with its innovative self-learning technology and sleek design in 2011. Although we use the ecobee and recommend it, the category would not be where it is without the Nest Thermostat.  Ring Video Doorbell - The Ring Video Doorbell revolutionized home security by pioneering the smart doorbell category, introducing remote video monitoring and two-way communication in 2014.  What is Dolby Vision 2 Dolby Vision 2 is a next-generation HDR format announced by Dolby Laboratories on September 2, 2025, at IFA 2025. It builds on the original Dolby Vision by introducing AI-driven tools, enhanced creator controls, and features that extend beyond traditional HDR, such as improved motion handling. The format is designed to deliver more accurate, director-intended visuals across a range of TVs, adapting to content, viewing environments, and display capabilities. It comes in two tiers: Tier Target TVs Key Focus Dolby Vision 2 Mainstream TVs Core upgrades via new image engine and Content Intelligence for improved picture quality. Authentic Motion (Premium Motion Handling) Available only in Dolby Vision 2 Max: The world's first creator-driven motion control tool, enabling shot-by-shot adjustments to reduce judder (stutter) while avoiding the "soap opera effect." Makes 24fps cinematic content feel more fluid and authentic, ideal for movies, sports, and fast-action scenes. These features aim to make Dolby Vision 2 backward-compatible with existing Dolby Vision content (with some improvements), but full benefits require new TVs and mastered content.  Industry Adoption: Hisense will be the first TV brand to introduce Dolby Vision 2 to its lineup. “Bust Down” is single-camera sitcom created by and starring Langston Kerman, Jak Knight, Chris Redd, and Sam Jay that premiered on Peacock in 2022. It centers on four friends who work low-wage jobs at a casino in Gary, Indiana. The show leans heavily into raunchy humor and over-the-top scenarios, with the creators noting they wanted it to be “raunchy, irreverent, and complicated". Critics generally responded positively and praised Bust Down's bold comic voice and willingness to push boundaries. Sadly, months after the show's release, Jak Knight passed away. It's unclear if this factored into the end of the show. Bust Down now exists as a 6 episode show that may have never realized it's full potential and floats on various streamers. For example, following NSNG® can often help alleviate heartburn, and foods like tomatoes can be reintroduced. (5:00) Anna is cooking up some chicken today and marinating it. (10:00) Acid (like lemon juice), olive oil, and seasoning are all you need for a marinade. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes; however, several hours is best to get the flavors to infuse. Internal temperature of the chicken should be (near the bone) between 165-180 degrees F when finished. Oven temperature for cooking chicken should be 350-400 degrees F. Pork rinds can be used as a coating or "breading" for the chicken. Next, Anna whips up some cheesy broccoli.
