Yesterday, it was confirmed that Galway United's upcoming Premier Division game with Dundalk will be held at Turners Cross in Cork on Friday evening. The game was origionally scheduled for Pearse Stadium as Eamon Deacy Park is undergoing ground works. However, this was not possible following the draw for the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship Round 2A which sees Galway take on Westmeath on Sunday afternoon at the same venue. The decision to hold the game at Turners Cross has led to angry reactions by supporters from both clubs. Galway United Manager John Caulfield spoke to John Mulligan about the decision to hold the game in Cork.

Ep 213 discusses a dour Drogheda derby, the surrendering of the Leinster Senior Cup crown in the semi-final to St Pats and Dundalk's stirring victory over struggling Derry City which ended a busy week on a high note.
Frantz Pierrot struck a 65th minute equaliser in Tolka Park on Friday (29th May 2026) to ensure Galway United left Shelbourne with a share of the spoils in the SSE Airtricity League Men's Premier Division. Harry Wood had earlier given the hosts the lead. The result leaves United in seventh place on 21 points, two points ahead of Sligo Rovers in the relegation play-off spot. Galway Bay FM's match commentary team were Jonathan Higgins and Kevin Horgan. == Galway United's next game is at home against Dundalk on the weekend of June 12th/13th.
