Season 3 is still a bit of a work in progress but we wanted to get you all a taste of what's to come while we still get things sorted out. Thanks for your patience!

In this episode we look back and discuss our favorite episodes, characters and lessons from season 2 as well as update ya'll on our big big big plans for season 3! Long story short, we're going to move all of Season 1 and 2 to a new podcast called The Battle Buddies Chronicles and this podcast will sort of be a soft reboot of the show moving forward. We'll be playing new characters in a new series of stories but this will all take place in the same world of The Battle Buddies that we've been building the past 3 years. Look forward to the new battle buddies soon!

The Buddies lead a legion of elderly retirees, pitch black battle-hungry vanta monsters and the coolest demon to ever have existed into an epic battle in an alternate reality that's been building for tens of thousands of years. Join The Buddies as they close out both Ryan's arc and season two by finally confronting the Night Mayor and unraveling the mystery of the inter-dimensional key!

Yeah sure, a lot of crazy messed up stuff that this entire arc has been building to finally starts to come into full swing but the key takeaway from this episode is that the buddies made a new best friend named Glabrazu! Join the buddies as they laugh and banter with their new found demon best friend and as he breaks free of his bonds and attempts to destroy them! Oh and enjoy the build to the epic conclusion while you're at it as well.

Now that The Buddies have returned as heroes to their real original reality they have to prepare for their confrontation with the Night Mayor and the possibility of a Vanta creature invasion. Without any hesitation or sitting around discussing nothing of importance they take to the halls of their retirement community and recruit some hardened old people to come out of retirement and join them on the inter-planar battlefield. But first they must venture deep into the recesses of Flambodran's original world to unravel the mystery of the Key to All Cites.

After some careful deliberation and a lot of good old fashioned dicking around in alternate mayor dimensions, The Buddies form a plan! A plan the involves stealth, subterfuge, wizard towers and a whole lot of fireballs!

The Buddies begin the episode by exploring the new world they randomly teleported to whilst escaping a battle they might have sort of had a hand in starting between Tadrian and the Vanta creatures. After wandering aimlessly for some time they encounter a large wheelbarrow wielding imbecile who guides them to a marvelous banquet that just so happens to be a meeting of none other than the much hyped council of mayors. Needless to say, shit hits the fan and things go south fast. Tune in to find out how the Buddies managed to bungle things up again!

In this episode the buddies take advantage of Ryan's carefree game-mastering style and really take the campaign off the rails when they steal Flambodran's dimension warping key, stir up a fight between the survivors and the vanta creatures and then escape to an entirely new reality! But the good news is that now without the key Flambodran can really focus on who Flambodran is.

After returning to the safety of their hotel room and just barely missing their magic show, Flambodran immediately reappears in their closet and whisks The Battle Buddies off onto another wild non-rat related adventure! But before The Buddies can fight their way through a slew of new fearsome vanta-monsters and save this pathetic dimension from destruction Flambodran has to lay down some mind-bending exposition that may change the very nature of the reality of The Battle Buddies as they know it! Tune in to get your mind stretched and open up a can of whoop-ass on some void monsters!

The Buddies are finally all together at last! Special guest DM Ryan graced our show with his presence and jumped right into the chronicler book to free up all of your favorite Battle Buddies to finally all play together for the first time ever! Join Bo'Gal, Zazzle, Don, Crag and other such fan favorite characters as they explore alternate dimensions and go on exciting pest control related adventures!

This is it. The climactic event of our great werewolf hunt. The moment that separates the werewolves from the non-werewolves and also from conniving bodyguards or whatever. After the hunter's booby trap goes off Garth uses the chaos of the explosion to attempt to escape and lead the buddies on a merry chase! Tune in and join the buddies as they battle their way to the mayor and end this ridiculous quest once and for all!

The Buddies start of the episode knee-deep in a violent confrontation with a fully grown adult werewolf. After a magnificent display of their battle prowess the buddies manage to scare the werewolf back into the forest just in time to return to town to present their findings to the church. And that's when shit really hits the fan.

Richard has again donned the weighty crown of the dungeon master and as his first decree he demanded we all return to our old familiar roles of the original Battle Buddies. He also decided that now that we have a Dracula hunt under our belt, we're ready to try our hands at hunting a werewolf! And boy do we prove him wrong!

After successfully ruining Tim's career prospects at Forge the buddies are forced to lay low for a while in Aunt Tim's place to let their heat die down a bit. After both a wildly successful retirement party and interview the buddies make their way on out of Forge industries running into no obstacles or complications whatsoever... They definitely did not have to drown a man, smoke bomb a large group of people trapped in a room, bash anyone's heads into a urinal or jump out any windows. And they definitely aren't wanted by the police.

It's life or death in Jamboree as the fates of Chester and Miriam hinge on whether they can pull off their most important mission yet. Sabotaging Necro Tim's interview. Join The Buddies as they infiltrate Forge using the oldest party trick in the book. A retirement party.

After the success of the partyception the boys set their sights on bigger fish. Forge Industries. They messed with the wrong party planners when they wrecked the docks and payed them all that coin and these boys ain't having it. So after dealing with a little internal, on the job politics the boys start thinking about how they can infiltrate Forge and weaponize a party against them.

Join us on the final episode of The Haunting of the House on Harrow Hill. After so many trials and so much tribulation our brave Battle Buddies have finally taken their first steps into the much sought after, world renown man cave under Bimsley's mansion. I will not spoil what wonderful and dire things await our heroes in Bimsley's luxurious palace of hedonism, but I will tell you that you are not prepared. Now throw caution to the wind firmly grab your man gems, it's time to enter The Man Cave and see what awaits us.

Learn what it means to be a real man as the Buddies confront toxic masculinity itself in the form of a corrupt Huge Jacked-Huge Jacked Man! Use your powers of Wisdom, Respect, Open Mindedness and Friendship to finally claim the man gems and open the door to Bimsley's world renown man cave.

After a peaceful slumber and the crippling realization that The Buddies have been Crommed yet again, our heroes wake to find Huge Jacked Man waiting for them with a mission. Join The Buddies as they solve more weird puzzle shit and track down and hopefully defeat a beefed out Lycanthrope before it tears the mansion asunder.

The Buddies get some hands on experience with the world renowned Bimsley secret tea making process when they encounter the giganticus planticus otherwise known as Earl Grey beneath the the recesses of the famous Bimsley greenhouse. Join them as they assist in the elaborate botanical mating process that produces the world's finest cup of tea.

Prepare to get spooky is another ghost filled chapter of the Haunting of Harrowhill manor. In order to continue their hunt for the Man Gems, The Buddies decide to team up with Huge Jackedman to track down some spectral weapons so they can stop getting their asses kicked already. The Buddies make their way to Bimsley's trophy room where the find a whole bunch of silly puzzles, ghosts and spectral weapons waiting for them.

The buddies are back and in a worse state than ever! Weaponless, Zazzle-less, and wandering aimlessly without a Jerold to guide them the buddies stumble into a sticky situation that requires their special brand of mischief to resolve. Join the buddies on their ghost hunt caper as they investigate the source of a dracula infestation in an expansive mansion full to the brim with puzzles, traps and ghostly spirits!

The Lord of Lies finally decides to take matters into their own hands as they make their intentions to steal Mesa's book of spells and use it for evil clear. All the stands in the way of the apparent destruction of our known universe is our brave and non too bright Battle Buddies. Turn in to listen to the first real encounter with our new Battle Buddies and subsequently the end of the first arc of season 2!

Victor's hunt for that pesky party crashing goblin comes to a climax after all of the buddies are sucked into another ridiculous scenario vortex. In this alternate dimension the buddies are pitted against the other party-goers in a riveting game of Modified People Parchessi. With the careful application of a few natural 20 rolls Victor finally corners his prey only for the bid bad to appear to challenge the buddies to mortal combat.

After the The Buddies find themselves surrounded by guards and accused of murder they make a quick and unplanned escape into the magical dimension of the books lining the FarReach library. There they encounter such literary classic characters like Moby Dale, The Softy Boys and Rick Flare. Tune in to join them on their adventures and learn of the potentially terrible fate.

Welcome to Season 2 of The Battle Buddies! The Dungeon Master of the first arc of Season 2 is the incomparable Jeht and he's kicking off the season with a whole cast of new characters, both player and NPC, trapped in the midst of a mysterious murder at a lavish party. Tune in, meet the new buddies and see if you can solve the mystery before they do.

With the elimination of the corruption and the defeat of Chaos season one of The Battle Buddies has officially come to an end. This is really kind of just a buffer episode to give us some time to prepare for the much anticipated season 2! In this episode we discuss everything we think worked and all the millions of things that we think did not work in the first season as well as what to expect going into season 2. If that doesn't sound remotely interesting, well screw you it's awesome! But really, feel free to skip this one and just dive into the next episode (as soon as it's out) if hearing us talk about how great we are just isn't your thing.

Buckle up Buddies cause shit just got real. Chaos returns to his original form and unleashes his true power, The Buddies fill their power meters and embrace their artifact abilities, reality is being torn apart at the seems, mountains are being razed, valleys decimated, lives lost, welcome to the final showdown.

Chaos ups the ante by summoning hundreds of lifeless allies to surround and destroy The Buddies. But our heroes get some lucky breaks as they fight their way to the ruins of the great tree connecting every living being. Join The Buddies alongside their new unlikely allies in the epic final confrontation of season 1!

The buddies awake from their illusions to find themselves in the Valley of Dusk between the twin planes. Here they encounter the source of the corruption, a powerful and chaotic entity with a twisted sense of humor and the ability to jump between bodies. Join the buddies as they enter into their most brutal and epic battle yet!

Now that Richard's arc has come to an end with the destruction of the third and final artifact it's time to pass the mantle of Dungeon Master back to Cody to wrap up the campaign and season 1 of the Battle Buddies. And so far shit's looking pretty bleak. The great evil is loose, the corruption has claimed the twin planes and our heroes are trapped in elaborate illusions. Welcome to the beginning of the end.

All hell breaks loose in this episode after Vera pulls off a clever trick that evens the odds in the battle for the artifact. Blood is shed as two armies collide in the background of the buddies epic battle with Vera and O'rag to claim the final artifact and determine the fate of the twin planes. Cheer, laugh and cry as we conclude Richard's arc and enter the endgame.

The buddies return to the S.S. Oh Jeez to chase down Vera and O'rag before they can fulfill their plan to destroy the artifact and kick-start the apocalypse! But not before rescuing their beloved companion Red-shirt Tim from the depths of the ocean and then goofing off a little bit along the way!

With the ward tragically defeated, the third artifact is now exposed and it's up to The Buddies to prevent Vera and her soldiers from getting their hands on it before they get a chance to accidentally destroy it. To pull this off The Buddies hop aboard the S.S. Oh Jeez and make chase. Under the leadership of the mighty Captain Crag, The Buddies are able to catch Vera's ship and encounter them in an sea battle of epic proportions!

After learning about the rebellion against the Terellia army The Buddies are forced into a tight spot by some of the stranded orcs. Thanks to Crag's quick thinking and loose morals The Buddies are able to escape the cave and uncover the perpetrator behind Peaceful Island's deadly lightning blasts. Join The Buddies as they, yet again again, lie, cheat and murder their way to the top!

The Buddies disembark from the S.S. Oh Jeez onto the soothing placid shores of peaceful island. As soon as the buddies make landfall George delivers an unheeded warning to the buddies not spill blood on peaceful island's sacred shores else-wise there'll be dire consequences. So naturally the buddies promptly spill blood. Tune in to find out how their idiocy pans out yet again!

Bo'Gal goes full whale, Crag takes some more hits for the team and Zazzle dicks around with his hat all in an effort to clear their ship of enemies, mutineers and ninjas. After returning their ship to the natural order, The Buddies elect a new captain, a strong captain, a reliable captain, a roughly cannonball shaped captain. All hail Captain Crag!

The Buddies battle the fearsome and stealthy Captain Nija and his well trained crew only to discover that the whole encounter was just a distraction to both keep them away from their ship and delay their quest for the third artifact!

The S.S. Oh Jeez is running more smoothly than ever when Captain Bo'Gal decides to mutiny himself and place Zazzle in charge. Shortly after the change in leadership the buddies encounter another ship and Crag decides to use the encounter as an opportunity to win over the crews respect and claim the role of captain for himself! Tune in to find out how much Crag royally fucked up and how The Buddies handle the sticky situation his antics put them in.
