This year (2021), all of Art's businesses are experiencing slingshot growth from the down time of the pandemic. In the past he has unsuccessfully retired out of positions within his business and put himself in a bad spot of having no time and constantly being exhausted from doing too much! This time around he understands the value of Opportunity! In business or just in Life, it's important we know how to ask ourselves "What is this Worth for my time?" Eight years ago I had an opportunity to invest in the digital world and I passed on it, ultimately passing on hundreds of thousands of dollars! Fast forward to 2020 and a global pandemic would force me to finally put my money behind and online product. When you're first starting something, ESPECIALLY a business, its so important that everything is organized and clean, but there is a big difference between "clean and organized" and "perfect". When your business or goal in general needs growth or a step forward, it's important that you can provide it. Being a perfectionist (like me) often leads to overthinking, and over thinking often slows up your growth process. Do you think NCAA Players should be paid? The NCAA is a billion dollar organization leveraging the image and likeness of schools and players alike. The schools and programs are compensated but the players are not. In an age where image and likeness can be grown and leveraged without being backed by a large organization, it is even more valuable to a player. The NCAA has finally allowed players to leverage their own image and likeness but still has not decided to compensate players for their contribution to the revenue of their school/program as well as NCAA.
