this is a comedy ""podcast"" btw believe it or not. It is a joke, it is parody, it is satire. It is not serious; it is not meant to be taken seriously. I do not condone the physical harming or even light harassment of real estate agents in any way shape or form. Do not call, text, or email Jeffrey Doussan or Keller Williams of New Orleans. Do not write funny bad reviews on yelp or google or furnished finder. Do not send pipe bombs or bomb threats to his house or any of his listed properties. I mean it! If you do any of these things you will be banned from podcasts forever. Thank you enjoy the show. Looking at rentals is really fun cuz real estate agents and property managers are some of the most redacted and oblivious people you have to trust with your livelihood. Recently I had scheduled to see a place and the guy no showed, no contact I messaged and emailed him multiple times and 3 days later he texted "apologies out of town." He then proceeds to try to reschedule immediately for the next day at 11am I say can we do 2pm he says no we can't let's do Monday 2pm I say okay Monday 2pm he says great I say great and then he says actually we can do tomorrow Friday 2pm i say perfect cool then Friday at 11am he says you must think we're crazy but we're actually just short-handed can you do monday 2pm and then i showed up today Monday at 2pm and the guy is 10 minutes late, I text the guy and he said "oh Philip's not there?" Philip the minion shows up within 1 minute of me texting, Philip says haha it's good thing our office is right around the corner and he points to a building literally right behind the rental and gives me the dorkiest fcking smile and I want to drown Philip in a puddle. We go to open the door and he doesn't have the right keypad code. I stand around in the rain for about 5 minutes while he calls and texts people and then he's like oh we can just try the other side of the duplex and I asked if the other side is the same layout and price and furnishings and he said no so I said no and so we sat in the rain for another 5 minutes and he finally gets the code and we go in. It looks like the last tenant had just left, all the lights and tvs are on and trash cans full, poop splatters on the toilet and it smells like cat piss. Despite this, I message the property manager that I am interested and would like to move forward with my application and he likes my message and says nothing else. $1400/month. a few years ago, a property manager was stunned that I requested to inspect the house before signing a legal document that said we conducted an inspection and told me I was the first person to ever do so. He addressed me as "Gay bro" in a text and it was never acknowledged $1754/month 440 sq feet #italiano #realestateagent #propertymanagement When you were investing in real estate, I studied the blade. When you were having open houses, I mastered the blockchain. While you wasted your days at the bank in pursuit of equity, I cultivated inner strength. And now that the world is on fire and the barbarians are at the gate you have the audacity to come to me for rent. It's free! Real estate! We're giving you land! It's free. We're giving you a house. It's real estate. Free. It's a free house for you, Jim. This is free real estate! You gotta bring furniture, but the house is free! Two bedrooms, no rugs. It's free! You unlock the door to your free house, we got you the real estate! It's a two bedroom house, its free, its got a pool in the back. I'm not carrying this around all day! It's for your house! Free real estate, I'll pee my pants. Jim, come get your damn land. It's a free house! Jim, I got real estate. Jim, does it get better than this? Jim! The house is free! Jim! The house is free! In this episode of the Catholic Sportsman Show podcast, join us as we talk with Deacon Marcelo Ferrari on his journey to and at St. John's seminary in Boston, Mass. God willing, his journey will continue as a Catholic priest as he looks forward to his ordination in May 2024. In addition, we discuss his involvement in the documentary: "Souls in the Game", which is available for free viewing at soulsinthegame.com or on YouTube. To fully appreciate and understand this episode of the Catholic Sportsman Show, we suggest watching the video before listening to the podcast. At St John's Seminary, basketball is another way for the seminarians to grow closer to God, their teammates and their community. The sacrifice given on the court fosters a greater love of God, neighbor, and service of others through the support of a team. Saint John's Seminary & the Archdiocese of Boston teamed up for “Souls in the Game,” a new documentary depicting the spiritual life of seminarians intertwined with their love of basketball. We are pleased to be joined in the first hour of the show today by the Head Coach of the Ball State Cardinals Men's Basketball Team, Michael Lewis! We hear from Coach Lewis about how he reconstructed his roster after losing a fair portion of the team's scoring after last season. We also hear his thoughts on the transfer portal and how it has affected not only the Ball State program, but the MAC and the NCAA as a whole. We also hear his thoughts and philosophy on non-conference scheduling and how it can make or break a team's season. Brett also asks if the Ball State Cardinals Basketball Team now has a "Michael Lewis" type of identity that has been established. Also in the Hour, a preview of the Colts taking on the Cleveland Browns, and what needs to happen in order for Gardner Minshew to look better than he did last week against the Jaguars.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Hall of Fame Michigan State University Spartans Men's Basketball Coach Tom Izzo previews the 2023/24 season. In his opening comments, Izzo says he's “excited to be back,” and he says he loves his team. He says he's proud of his blue-collar program, too. Conversation Highlights: (3:37) – “We're a week away from Midnight Madness. It's important that we reengage after a lot of what we've been through the last couple years.” (4:55) – “We also have two exhibition games. (6:26) – “I have seen our team in the Top 5 and Top 10. People have asked me if I like that. And I always say no; I love it. We're looking forward to living up to expectations.” (7:48) – Izzo on his seniors (9:07) – Izzo on his juniors (10:05) – Izzo on his sophomores (11:18) – Izzo on his freshmen (14:18) – More on Coen Carr and the pros and cons of summer basketball. “It gives our players a chance to learn how to act in front of people. They're really good kids. I'm blessed with what I have right now.” (16:24) – On the Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan, the importance of high school coaches, and the state of college basketball. “It's the Jud Heathcote rule, 27 years later, that the most important human beings on the planet are high school coaches. I really do believe that.” (18:48) – More on Jeremy Fears and Tom's thoughts on competition making the team better. “Mateen was my best freshman leader. There have only been a couple guys – Mateen and Tum Tum – who have ‘it.' Jeremy Fears has ‘it.'” (21:14) – As he looks around college basketball, his thoughts on reduced opportunities for freshmen because of the portal. “I'm going to do what I do. And sooner or later it's probably going to get me. I'm going to have fun in the meantime, and I'm going to enjoy the fight to keep my program based on relationships and not transactions. At Michigan State, there are a couple things that aren't going to change until the day I walk off this stage. We're going to stay a blue-collar place. The second thing is relationships matter to me.” (25:58) – On the depth at the guard position. “I've done some things for players they better appreciate. I could have gone into the portal, too. They could have gone; I could have gone. I trusted and believed in them. I think they trusted and believed in me. What a great marriage and a great opportunity.” (29:25) – More on Carson Cooper. “Right now, I have as good a staff as I've had.” (31:32) – On how he will balance talented upperclassmen with a stellar freshmen class. “I have to sell winning and personal success. That is a challenge. Winning brings personal success. Personal success doesn't always bring winning.” (34:26) – More on Jaden Akins. “Jaden can be one of the best two-way players, not just in the league, but in the whole country.” (36:24) – On what role he'll play in finding MSU's next football coach. “I'm a sounding board. That doesn't mean I'm in on the decision making. Whatever Alan needs me to do, I'm suiting up and I'm there for him.” (39:25) – Do you feel any more weight than you normally would to give your fan base, alumni, students, and faculty something with this basketball team? “Yes. I'm not excited that I have to feel that way, but I'm proud that I get the opportunity to represent the 650,000 living alumni and a lot of good friends of mine and a lot of people who have done a lot of good for this place. I feel it's a privilege to have the opportunity to help bring us closer together.” (43:31) – On the prospects of winning a second national championship. “Do I say it's Final Four of National Championship or bust? I say that's the goal. I'm realistic enough to know there are a lot of factors.” (47:36) – You seem to be speaking with more bravado this season…? “We and I have earned what we've got. We've been through a lot of tough times both on and off the court. We're still standing. Let's take advantage of that and stay focused the best we can. I hope that I can bring this place that I love so much what we deserve and make people feel good and smile.” (50:52) – Where do you see the need for the most improvement? “The biggest thing right now is that we have to become a better rebounding team. I'm most excited that I have a group of guys together that have had options to leave and who have stayed. I want to try to win another championship someday. But I also want to keep this the great place I know it is. If that's pressure and the weight of the world, that's what I signed up for, and, more importantly, that's what I get to do.” Listen to “MSU Today with Russ White” on the radio and through Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and wherever you listen.

Coach Keith Drysdale is founder of Count the Bucket Basketball youth development basketball training and mentorship. Count The Buckets' mission statement is to pave a gateway of opportunities to grow on and off the court. As a walk on D2 shooting guard at LIU CW Post, Keith was able to master the basics from a phenomenal coaching staff led by Tom Galeazzi. It led to a two year pro career with the Westchester Phantoms. Coached by former WNBA guard for the New York Liberty, Teresa Weatherspoon. In his own words: Coach Keith Drysdale, founder of Count the Bucket Basketball Youth Development Program and shooting school was established in the fall of 2016. Just a kid from the Bronx that fell in love with the game of basketball at the age of 7. One day the TV was on and saw something that had energy, and before you know it something drew my attention. It was the sound of the net when it went through the basket. I just know it looked so pretty going through the hoop that I wanted to go to the basketball court and make that same sound every time. I attended Grace Dodge High School, a small school in the Bronx. I made the team my junior and senior year, averaging 21 and 24 points per game. I earned a two year degree in Micro Computer Applications at Sullivan County Community College and only played one year. Then I enrolled at Long Island University at CW Post, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Information Management and Technology. I also played for the CW Post Men's Basketball Team. I then went on to play basketball professionally under former WNBA coach Teresa Weatherspoon for the Westchester Phantoms from 2007-2009. Basketball is more than a sport to me, it's a community of a team that have different skills and passion for the game that build a team of opportunity's that can take you across the globe. In 2019 Coach Keith earned a Youth Development Certified USA Basketball Gold Coach License, "The USA Basketball Gold Coach License enhances the previous NCAA program, that provides more value to coaches and event operators.” The USA Basketball Gold Coach License is a program that provides basketball education and training to coaches while ensuring the safety of young people in the sportCoach Keith, specializes in increasing your shooting percentage significantly, which start out with footwork and balance. My program will accelerate your skillset as a better player guaranteed. Most importantly, to build young athletes and prep them with taking accountability on the court, and off the court as well.Count the bucket is all about preparing you for the next level.
