Energy work is a fascinating field, and this episode has something for you whether you're new or have been around the proverbial block.Djali lives in Prague and emanates a kind of confidence that I rarely see in women. She's warm, playful, and inviting. She laughs, doesn't take herself too seriously, and is very transparent. I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did! If Djali didn't have another commitment, we probably would have kept going for another hour!Oh, I have to tell you that I attended one of Djali's energy clearing sessions the day after our recording. In this episode, psychotherapist and transformation strategist Heidi Gruss and I talk entrepreneurship, transformation, and everything in between! While Heidi generally works with female entrepreneurs, this is a very relevant conversation for EVERYONE! We tackle subjects that female entrepreneurs - especially those who are building families - face like the illusion of "balance," overwhelm, blocks, confidence, intuition, and so much more! We also talked about Heidi's Transformation Methodology, which she created to be a simple yet strategic methodology for her clients to help them build belief and confidence in themselves. She shares how patterns and emotional blocks keep showing up in our lives and how she can help clients work through them so that they can achieve the successes that are important to them.I really loved our chat about her morning rituals, which includes celebrating wins, practicing gratitude, and setting intentions. Honestly, I adored our entire conversation and am struggling to summarize it. This is an episode I plan to listen to again and again because there is simply so much gold in it, and I do hope that you'll tune in!Heidi's links:https://www.heidigruss.com/offers https://www.instagram.com/heidigruss/ https://www.facebook.com/heidigrussofficial https://www.linkedin.com/in/heidigruss/Link to the complimentary 30-minute BREAKTHROUGH call with me: http://bit.ly/2OjbC4r

Are You Searching For Your Purpose Or A Job Title?

Have you ever "searched" for your purpose? Like, have you asked yourself the question "What is my purpose?" Well, I've spent more than 20 years of my life pondering this question, and I have some thoughts about it that I share with you in today's episode. Just a note that the first minute or so after the intro is a bit slow, but I promise that it picks up quickly! The biggest takeaway is that I believe strongly that every single one of us has a purpose. And, that even the most committed of us on this journey to fulfill our callings will likely express them in different ways throughout our lives. And so, today's episode is about the difference between purpose and its current expression - its "job title."Now, these are my current ponderings on this subject, and they may change over time! One benefit I see to holding the belief I share today is that it reduces the pressure to find our one "right" thing; that it gives us permission to explore different ways we can fulfill our callings. And, that by differentiating what our purpose is from its "job title," we free ourselves to honor our callings even when we're doing work that doesn't speak to our hearts.Mentioned in this episode:Jiddu Krishnamurti's book "Think On These Things"My free "Meet Your Future (Essential) Self" meditation and workbook

*Trigger warning*Do you ever feel like you're not in the driver's seat of your life? That things keep happening to you? This is what the first 20 years of my life were like. In fact, I suffered from depression for a decade during my formative years. In this episode, I share with you what it was like, what happened, and what it's like now. The depression, the suicidal ideations and attempts. How I nearly died and how there were more rock bottoms even after that. And, most importantly, what happened that led me to turn my life around. Mentioned in this episode:-Byron Katie, author of "Loving What Is" and best known for "The Work."-Viktor Frankl, author of "Man's Search For Meaning". Speaking of Viktor Frankl, I had a brainfart and didn't articulate his work like I had wanted to. Here's the correction: In short, he found personal meaning in his imprisonment in the Nazi death camps, and promoted the idea that a "meaningless" life was linked to depression, among other things. If you liked this episode, please like it and subscribe to my channel. Do you ever feel like you're doing "everything right" but life isn't going the way you'd like? Well, welcome to my world. I used to get frustrated by this (and sometimes still do), but it's been my experience that the Universe (or God, Source, Spirit, Love - whatever you feel most comfortable calling "it") is conspiring to help me live my best life. And, as I've discovered time and time again, when limiting beliefs hold me back or I deviate from what's most aligned with my soul, the Universe communicates with me in no uncertain terms via my body to get me back on track. In this first episode, I share with you a story of how this recently played out for me - a story that you may very well relate to. A story about how living in my zone of excellence (a reference from Gay Hendrick's fantastic book "The Big Leap") stopped working for me.If you liked this episode, please like it and subscribe to the Wayfinder Diaries podcast.
