The Wheel. Take. Celly. is back and here to stay with some changes as Andy will explain. Andy begins the episode with the tragic news of Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau's passing. His discussion ranges from veterans in the league and what they're doing, to a rant about ESPN+, and then catching everyone up on where he and Nick are in their personal lives.

On this episode, Tim and Dad are back and review Round 1 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs including all the series that ended as of May 1st. Filled with lots of discussions by the guys on why teams moved on and why some were eliminated.

Andy, Nick, and Dad (Tom) are joined by Tim, Nick and Andy's brother to give their predictions on each first round series. All the guys go through the series and talk about expetations, who they think will win, and in how many games. Look out for next week's episode for Round Reviews.

Our Dad is back for another episode where we discuss the wild card race in the East and West. Full of great discussion as we prepare for the playoffs. Who will end up as the last wild cards in the East and West? The guys discuss their picks. At the end Nick gives quite a hot take on the Sabres and what they should do to fix their woes.

What an exciting episode this was as Andy and Nick have a special guest on the show! We won't spoil the surprise, but what a terrific job they on their first episode! Andy, Nick and the special guest give their opinion on Torts scratching the captain and breakdown Vegas' struggles. The wild card race in the East is getting close and the race for 1st in the Central is open, and the guys cover it all!

In this episode Andy and Nick talk about the Trade Deadline as it's tomorrow and go over some trades that have already been made. Like usual, they go through the East and West giving their thoughts on teams/players they observed. Nick monologues about Boston and Nashville giving his opinions on the teams. Lastly, stay tuned for the end as Nick and Andy share their insight heading into the deadline.

Andy and Nick come back with their analysis of the teams they watched throughout the week. They begin the episode with the wild card Standings as of 2/11. They give their opinions of what teams need to add as we approach the deadline. Lastly, stick around as Andy and Nick discuss their favorite jersey ads in the NHL.

The boys are back with some piping hot takes as they resume the podcast after a brief hiatus. Andy and Nick give their earlier Stanley Cup Champion picks and talk about winners and losers from each division. Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Nick and Andy are back with their reviews since returning from Christmas Break. The guys talk about teams they watched over break and discuss players they've had an eye on. A lot more to discuss as a full 3 weeks had passed since the last episode so tune in and enjoy!

Another two weeks, another episode. This time the boys discuss the teams they've watched for the past two weeks and talk about who surprised them. Andy and Nick go through each division and give their takes on teams slumping and exceeding expectations. Lastly, you wont want to miss the discussion on the Carolina Hurricanes between the two of them!

The guys are back at it with another biweekly review of the past weeks and how each division has shaped up since. The guys talk about teams they expect will rise in the standings and players that have had great seasons thus far!

Andy and Nick share their commitment to the podcast and layout the schedule they look to follow as the season progesses. Each episode will be dropped every other Sunday starting with this week (I know it's dropping on a Monday) so expect every other Sunday for an episode. With that being said the guys mention some teams who are doing poor and well so far and get into some discussions about divisions and teams they enjoy watching.

Andy and Nick, after some big moves, have come back to finish their review of the 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs and discussion of how the 2023-2024 season has gone thus far. Both the guys give updates on what's happened since their last episode as well so stick around to hear the news!

Andy and Nick discuss why each team was eliminated and give a brief look at what those team's offseasons look like. They go in depth with each team, especially Toronto and Edmonton with their continued playoff woes. Nick goes off script when he gives his views on the officiating in sports and how he feels it's been effected by sports gambling. Lastly, they preview the Dallas-Vegas series and Florida-Carolina series with who will win and why.

Episode was recorded on May 4th, 2023 Andy and Nick review all the series from Round 1 talking about why certain teams got eliminated. Both the guys have high praise for some teams and some jeers for others. We preview the second round series setting up the stage for what to see, how entertaining they'll be as well as give series predictions.

Recorded on April 20th Andy and Nick discuss the series that are underway and give their opinons on their playoff predictions. They talk about what they've seen so far in the East and West series, how teams can find success in each series, and go over the 3 keys to success for a team to be elite in the Playoffs. Lastly, after both guys have given their thoughts on what they've seen in all the series, they share their bracket predictions and let's just say you're going to want to stick around for it!

Recorded on February 11th, 2023. Andy and Nick talk about their opinons and observations of the NHL All Star Game (ASG) in what could be done better. Andy gets in depth about his viewing experiene of the event and what about the broadcast he didn't like. The guys give their trade deadline previews, teams in the middle of pushes for the playoffs, etc. Lastly, Andy gives his take on the Carolina Hurricanes.

Well alas all the season is over and the Colorado Avalanche have won the Stanley Cup! Andy and Nick bring a guest on the cast to review the series and talk about the future for both Tampa and Colorado. They also take a look at the 12 free agents Colorado has and give their take on who they should keep! At the end they preview what you can expect for content in the offseason.

Andy and Nick discuss what the Oilers and Rangers did to lose their series and even go through game by game to give you an idea on how the series played out. They also give some serious praise to the Rangers in accomplishing all that they did this postseason, and last but not least they preview the Stanley Cup Final and also give their predictions on who they think will win the Stanley Cup.

Similiarly to the First Round review, Andy and Nick just go over why teams lost and won this round and even give some dialogue on where some teams who were eliminated go from here. Andy and Nick also take the time to discuss the short comings of the Carolina Hurricanes in depth.

Andy and Nick go through each series and give their input on how teams won their series and how teams lost in their series. They go over how important goaltending is in the playoffs, how the officials can influence a game, the importance of establishing and keeping momentum and much more.

Nick and Andy are back discussing the Edmonton Oilers and where they see them currently in the season. They go over the point gap between Draisaitl and Hyman who are 2nd and 3rd in scoring for them, their goaltending and Nick drops a hot take on Edmonton and compares them to a different team he thinks they are similar to.

Nick joined the podcast to record an episode on the Heritage Classic and reviewed the game as a whole! He went over where the Leafs and Sabres are at and afterward discussed Toronto's goaltending woes. Nick also touched on how the Sabres look with Don Granato at the helm and how well they mesh together as a team.

Andy discusses the success of the LA Kings this season in the Pacific. The Kings have had a great season thus far and Andy talks about how they were a dark horse heading into this season as they weren't expected to make a playoff spot but, currently hold the second place spot in the Pacific division. Andy and Nick address signings that happened in between episodes then discuss Nashville through Winnipeg to give our takes on how well they're doing in the offseason. Nick also was spot on with Juuse Saros contract, specifically his AAV, predicting he was going to get 5mil-6mil!

Andy and Nick discuss the NHL free agency from Anaheim through Montreal and give their thoughts and opinions on each teams' offseason thus far. Things get dreadful for both Andy and Nick as they discuss their respective team's offseason.

Andy and Nick wrap up the Seattle Expansion Draft going through Montreal to Winnipeg. We even give a little fantasy advice to those listening. We hope that the offseason starts to heat up once the Expansion Draft is over because right now it's too quiet.

Andy and Nick preview the Seattle Expansion Draft by going through Anahiem to Minnesota and discuss who they would pick from each team and why.

Nick brings up his thoughts on how the U.S. teams Montreal faced had a comparative advantage over Montreal because they were allowed full capacity of fans whereas Montreal could only allow up to 3,500 fans a game. Nick cites Tim who gave him this idea for the episode to explain how disorienting it could be from the outside looking in.

Andy and Nick wrap up The Stanley Cup Playoffs with their final review of the postseason. We dissect how Tampa was able to beat Montreal and talk about the near future for both teams. The guys also get into the officiating as a whole now that the playoffs are over and discuss our criticism of how these playoffs were called. In the offseason we have tons of ideas for episodes but we don't want to spoil them now so look out for them during the offseason!

Andy and Nick review Games 1 and 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals and go over the plays, odd officiating, and game plan Montreal needs in order to tie this series up at 2 apiece. We mention how Carey Price has been outdueled by Andrei Vasilevskiy and how Vasilevskiy is just dialed in.

Andy and Nick break down Scott Mayfield's goal in Game 6 of the Tampa Bay New York series and Nick's origin story with Jeff Petry explaining how he got into following him.

Andy and Nick review the semi-final series and give our predictions as who wins the cup. Hint Hint it's Montreal. We also bring to light the officiating thus far in the playoffs and share our thoughts on the calls they're letting go compared to the calls they actually make.

Nick and Andy discuss how some NHL Awards are PR moves by the league rather than picking the best player for the awards. How do you feel about the NHL not having an age limit for the Calder Trophy (Rookie of The Year)? If the NHL had an age limit for the Calder Trophy, how would that affect the prospect pool for scouts in this league?

Nick and Andy wrap up the Second Round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs while also giving our predictions of who wins in the Third Round. We also decided to really breakdown Montreal's run so far as they are the first team to advance to the Semi-Finals.

Andy and Nick discuss the fairness/advantage the American teams have against the Canadian teams as far as fan capacity. We discuss how we'd fix this issue when an American team has to face a Canadian in the playoffs.

Andy and Nick discuss The Maple Leafs collapse they had against The Canadiens in Round 1 as well as Round 2 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs and the games thus far. Nick poses Andy's take on the consequences of how teams play with a lead especially in the third period. Going into the frustration that could be when your team blows a lead and loses the game. A bonus on the bonus is we also sidetrack on goaltender interference and how they've been called.

Andy and Nick continue to review the series that are still going on and go over the series that have ended. We discuss why it is that those series have ended and where the eliminated teams go on from here. Nick goes off on Connor McDavid and rakes him through the coals for his lack of leadership in the Edmonton Oilers Winnipeg Jets series.
