My brother Andy and I, Nick, discuss hockey related topics pertaining to the NHL. We've been long time fans of hockey and have even played it. We want to provide a more holistic view on the sport of hockey and cover more than just our favorite teams.
The Wheel. Take. Celly. is back and here to stay with some changes as Andy will explain. Andy begins the episode with the tragic news of Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau's passing. His discussion ranges from veterans in the league and what they're doing, to a rant about ESPN+, and then catching everyone up on where he and Nick are in their personal lives.
On this episode, Tim and Dad are back and review Round 1 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs including all the series that ended as of May 1st. Filled with lots of discussions by the guys on why teams moved on and why some were eliminated.
Andy, Nick, and Dad (Tom) are joined by Tim, Nick and Andy's brother to give their predictions on each first round series. All the guys go through the series and talk about expetations, who they think will win, and in how many games. Look out for next week's episode for Round Reviews.
Our Dad is back for another episode where we discuss the wild card race in the East and West. Full of great discussion as we prepare for the playoffs. Well alas all the season is over and the Colorado Avalanche have won the Stanley Cup! Andy and Nick bring a guest on the cast to review the series and talk about the future for both Tampa and Colorado. They also take a look at the 12 free agents Colorado has and give their take on who they should keep! At the end they preview what you can expect for content in the offseason.

They also give some serious praise to the Rangers in accomplishing all that they did this postseason, and last but not least they preview the Stanley Cup Final and also give their predictions on who they think will win the Stanley Cup.

Andy and Nick go through each series and give their input on how teams won their series and how teams lost in their series. They go over how important goaltending is in the playoffs, how the officials can influence a game, the importance of establishing and keeping momentum and much more.
Nick and Andy are back discussing the Edmonton Oilers and where they see them currently in the season. They go over the point gap between Draisaitl and Hyman who are 2nd and 3rd in scoring for them, their goaltending and Nick drops a hot take on Edmonton and compares them to a different team he thinks they are similar to.
Nick joined the podcast to record an episode on the Heritage Classic and reviewed the game as a whole! He went over where the Leafs and Sabres are at and afterward discussed Toronto's goaltending woes. Nick also touched on how the Sabres look with Don Granato at the helm and how well they mesh together as a team.
Andy discusses the success of the LA Kings this season in the Pacific. The Kings have had a great season thus far and Andy talks about how they were a dark horse heading into this season as they weren't expected to make a playoff spot but, currently hold the second place spot in the Pacific division. Nick brings up his thoughts on how the U.S. teams Montreal faced had a comparative advantage over Montreal because they were allowed full capacity of fans whereas Montreal could only allow up to 3,500 fans a game. Nick cites Tim who gave him this idea for the episode to explain how disorienting it could be from the outside looking in.
Andy and Nick wrap up The Stanley Cup Playoffs with their final review of the postseason. We dissect how Tampa was able to beat Montreal and talk about the near future for both teams. The guys also get into the officiating as a whole now that the playoffs are over and discuss our criticism of how these playoffs were called. In the offseason we have tons of ideas for episodes but we don't want to spoil them now so look out for them during the offseason!
