Sebastian Aho and Andrei Svechnikov are going to be cornerstones of the Carolina Hurricanes for a long time. Tuesday night, they combined to spoil the Vegas Golden Knights' visit to Raleigh with the overtime tally in a 4-3 win. Aho's 18th and 19th goals of the season give him 44 points in 36 games. Andrei, who at one point went through a 12-game stretch with just 3 points, now has a 5-game streak in which he's had 2 points in each game. He has 15 points (5g, 10a) in his last 10 games, and has 36 points in 36 games this year. Tony DeAngelo has at least 1 point in 5 straight games, posting a goal and 8 assists in that span. Jim Matheson had a classic "You smelt it, you dealt it" this as he accused Leon Draisaitl of being pissy.  This week's solution for the NHL has us developing a plan to fix the trade deadline. We also explore who could be available at this year's trade date, including Claude Giroux, Marc-Andre Fleury, Alex DeBrincat and John Klingberg. NHL front offices got creative this week signing two former agents to general manager roles, but one was extra special! Our "Connors and the Coyotes" takes us to an awful incident in the ECHL and a fight between Brad Marchand and the Carolina Hurricanes. The Philadelphia Flyers enter the Elimination Station, begging the question: What is actually wrong with the team? Lastly, we pick the Pavel Bure Must Watch Games of the Week.
