I had 16 ounces of warm, lemon & hydrogen water upon waking and a half hour later took 2 of the Proteolytic enzymes on an empty stomach and about a half hour later I drank a cup of coffee with a teaspoon on ghee (my regular routine water first and coffee 20 min later). Shortly, there after I got extremely nauseous over the next several hours. I'm in overall good health and have taken many supple Adam: Hey Dr. Cabral, I am 15 years old and weigh 160 pounds. I am 5ft 10 and a half and I have been working out for 3 years and have always tried to have a healthy lifestyle. I have recently been interested in taking supplements to support muscle building and overall health. What supplements, vitamins, and minerals do you recommend for someone of my age? I enjoyed it thoroughly and did purchase the book. The one thing they mentioned that I do wrong is I love shellfish. I live in MD so I do have crabs but not frequently. In general I do eat shrimp once a week and scallops once or twice a week. Can you give me your thoughts on if we need to remove scallops? I read they aren't scavengers. I do your quarterly detox. Studien zeigen Hinweise darauf, dass Kolostrum bei sehr hoher körperlicher Belastung – etwa im Leistungssport – Infekte der oberen Atemwege reduzieren kann. Auch Effekte auf die Darmbarriere sind dokumentiert. Für gesunde Menschen ohne besondere Belastung ist die Datenlage jedoch klar: Es gibt keine überzeugende Evidenz für einen Immunboost, keine belegte muskelaufbauende Wirkung und keine universelle Gesundheitssteigerung. Dazu kommt ein ethischer Gedanke, den viele übersehen: Kolostrum für Nahrungsergänzungsmittel stammt fast immer von Kühen. Verwendet werden kann dabei nicht die „normale“ Milch, sondern ausschließlich die Erstmilch aus den ersten 24 bis 72 Stunden nach der Geburt eines Kalbes – genau die Phase, in der diese hochkonzentrierte Immunformel eigentlich vollständig dem Neugeborenen zusteht. Erstmilch ist für das Kalb enorm wichtig, weil dieser Immuncocktail seine Abwehrkräfte in den ersten Lebenstagen stärkt und ihm einen gesunden Start ermöglicht. Was bedeutet es also, wenn ein Teil dieser Erstmilch entzogen, industriell verarbeitet und als Lifestyle-Produkt für Erwachsene verkauft wird? Diese Frage stellen Felix und Matthias offen – denn hier geht es nicht nur um wissenschaftliche Evidenz, sondern auch um Verantwortung und Tierwohl.
