Debbie Rose is an Executive Director of Project Abraham. She incorporated a new organization to take over the work of Project Abraham and focus on the Resettlement and Support of the Yezidi survivors of genocide - continuing the work begun as Project Manager under the Mozuud Freedom Foundation. Through meetings and public speaking appearances, engage in outreach to diverse communities and organizations to establish partnerships, recruit volunteers, and raise funds in order to ensure the availability of maximum resources for the newly-arrived refugees. Train volunteers and oversee 15 Resettlement Volunteer Teams and 6 committees. Complete administrative tasks for the board of Directors. Facilitate the application process to bring additional Yezidi survivors to Canada.
