To call the discussion in this episode 'lively' would be an understatement. Stephanie, Sylvie, Andy and I (Randy), all have opinions on reboots, adaptations and other related topics, and we explore a wide range of films and movies. We also share some news about upcoming reboots that are in early development and on their way to theatres. So, listen in as we discuss all things old made new again.

This is our first real geek news episode, and it begins with a segment I (Randy) would like to call; "Leave It All In" or, "They Had No Idea I Was Rolling," or something like that. For the first time in studio, Sylvie, Stephanie and Randy are joined by Andy, a time-travelling, kick-ass commenter who happens to be anchored in our time thanks to our limited technology. We wanted to talk about time travel, but there was so much important news to share instead, so you get the play by play of an interesting month in excellent Geek Entertainment news and all the round table commentary that comes with it. Actually, our table is square, but since there's no video for this, or any episode, I hope you won't notice the difference. We also take a moment to talk about how our media is packaged these days: Are the super-pack DVD+Blu-Ray+Digital+Special Features discs and their variations worth it? I (Randy), begin with an apology to Stephanie, and we launch into news topics ranging from Star Wars, Disneyland, Clerks 3, Kevin Smith, Game of Thrones, a quick look at Geek-worthy new releases in Blu-Ray/digital/DVD, and a couple other topics. 

Episode #64 - London, England - 4/19/11 Keith Smith the "Crusader Raider" visits Oakland annually to see his favorite American football team the Oakland Raiders play. This April 2011 my wife Lisa and I (Randy) were fortunate enough to be able to visit Keith in his home town of London. Keith and Big Dave Chapman (also a die-hard Raiders fan) showed us a great time for the four days we were there. In the first part of the video, Keith chatted with fellow English Raider fans Raider Nik and Big Dave Chapman. We also had the opportunity to attend an "English Football" game featuring Keith and Dave's favorite English football team, Leyton Orient. We had a great time, even getting to go into the team locker room prior to the game. We were shaking hands with the team and chatting with them as the coach came in to give them their final plans for the game. We show you some video of Keith interviewing a few Raider fans inside the stadium just before the start of the game. Keith chats with Adam, Les, Keith's daughter Kellie and Big Dave's brother Richard. After Leyton Orient won this match by a score of 2 to 1, we had a great time having a few drinks in the Leyton Orient "Supporters Club"...even the team captain had a pint with us! He agreed to become a member of the Raider Nation, so we'll be getting some Raiders gear over to him. TOPICS: Segment #1: "Da Bears Dominated by Da Raidas...32-17" The Raiders starters opened their 2nd preseason gave against the Bears looking very sharp and crisp, moving the ball down the field in big chunks for an opening drive touchdown. Their defense looked very good as well, led by Kamerion Wimbley with his 4 first half sacks. Raider Greg gives you his thoughts on the game. Segment #2: "Battle of the Bay Pregame - Raiders vs 49ers" The Raiders play the 49ers on Saturday August 28th. Raider Greg gives us a little warm up. Segment #3: "Raider Greg's Visit to Raiders Training Camp" Greg and I (Randy) attended Raiders training camp along with several groups of Raiders booster clubs from around the area. One of our listeners, Raider Damien, allowed us to use his booster club pass into training camp. We had a good time, although it was HOT.....103 degrees.
