This week, we revisit a franchise that has seen not only a fresh pair of installments, but a refreshed resonance to cultural themes. Filmed directly after 28 Years Later, THE BONE TEMPLE picks up where the previous film left off with Spike (Alfie Williams) now having been integrated into the cultish and terrifying group led by "Sir" Jimmy Crystal (in a haunting performance by Jack O'Connell). They make their way across the landscape, slaughtering the infected and offering a hideous "charity" to any passersby they encounter. But when the group intersects with the benevolent Dr. Kelson (Ralph Fiennes), a confrontation is staged that will position belief, purpose, and the very essence of humanity at odds with malice, deceit, and cruelty. The film points a grim eye towards our darkest nature and unearths a disarming capacity for redemption. Nathan is joined again by Kate Micham (who guested with him discussing 28 Years Later) for an exploration of the film's rich themes and the ways it informs the too-little discussed discipline of discernment. Also featuring a Patron-only chat about the Apple TV hit series WIDOW'S BAY, this is a brisk and thoughtful conversation that we really hope you enjoy.Patron Only Segment: WIDOW'S BAY3:25 - 28 YEARS LATER: THE BONE TEMPLESee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

After making seven seasons of the CBBC series, Malory Towers, it's already abundantly clear that Ella Bright is brimming with talent and experience, but Prime Video's Off Campus is bound to send her star soaring in a significant way. Based on the hugely popular book series by Elle Kennedy, Off Campus Season 1 puts the spotlight on the main characters of the first novel, The Deal. Garrett Graham (Belmont Cameli) is Briar University's impossibly popular star hockey player who can get just about any girl he wants. Bright's Hannah Wells, on the other hand, is a quiet songwriter who tends to keep clear of the college party scene. Not a likely pair. Plus, Hannah has a crush on someone else. When Garrett struggles with his philosophy class, he opts to turn to a top student for help, Hannah, and the two strike up a deal; she'll help him with his classwork and he'll help her get who she thinks is the guy of her dreams, Josh Heuston's Justin. However, the longer they fake date in an effort to make Justin jealous, the more evident it becomes that they're actually the perfect fit for one another. In the end, Garrett and Hannah fall for each other, and the viewer falls for them as a couple. The trouble is, Season 2 of Off Campus is based on the second book of Kennedy's series, and that book, The Mistake, has different main characters. Does that mean we'll get a lot less Hannah and Garrett in Off Campus Season 2? Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
On this week's episode, Vince is joined by Brown Harris Stevens' Peter Cossio and Allison Maguire for a lively discussion comparing two of the most dynamic real estate markets in the country: New York and New Jersey. There is a growing sense that everyone is carrying more than they were ever designed to. More pressure. More expectations. More noise. More demands. And yet, despite working harder, resting when we can, and trying every productivity hack under the sun, many people still find themselves running on empty. That is exactly what we unpack on this week's episode of Good Things with Brent Lindeque, where I sit down with Jaxheartist (Jacqueline Allschwang), a Capacity Architect, coach, and the co-founder of the Soul Healing Community, for a fascinating conversation about something many of us have never stopped to consider: our capacity. Jax's story is one of rebuilding. After losing a thriving business, experiencing burnout, and finding herself facing what she describes as a complete collapse of her internal systems, she set out to understand why so many high-performing people find themselves exhausted, overwhelmed, and disconnected from their own lives. What followed was years of research, learning, and creating practical frameworks to help others move from depletion to wholeness. "Most people assume exhaustion is a willpower problem. It isn't," says Jax. "When the nervous system is chronically dysregulated, cognitive clarity drops, emotional resilience erodes, and the ability to show up fully in work, relationships, and life disappears." During the conversation, we explore what Jax calls a "global capacity crisis", with many people operating in a constant state of fight, flight, freeze, or fawn while trying to navigate an increasingly demanding world.
Content creation has become one of the most exciting opportunities of our time, opening doors for people to tell their stories, build communities and even create careers from their passions. But while the creator economy has exploded across the globe, access to the tools and training needed to succeed has not always been equal. That's exactly where this week's guest on Good Things with Brent Lindeque is making a difference. Greg Sheppard, the Founder and CEO of View4All and Studio4, a Johannesburg-based creative entrepreneur working to change how South Africans create, share, and monetise content, joins us to chat about the good work he is doing. With more than two decades of experience in the advertising industry, Greg has worked with some of the world's biggest brands, including Heineken, BMW, Red Bull and MTN. But it was his decision to step beyond traditional advertising that led to the creation of View4All.tv, Africa's first truly free, data-free content platform delivered through Wi-Fi in high-traffic public spaces. The conversation dives into the rapidly growing creator economy, the opportunities it presents for South Africans and the barriers that still exist for many aspiring creators. Greg shares how View4All is helping to bridge that gap by making content more accessible, while Studio4 is identifying and training young creators from previously disadvantaged communities, equipping them with the skills needed to build sustainable futures through digital storytelling and video content. More than just a discussion about technology or media, this episode explores what becomes possible when creativity and opportunity come together. It's a conversation about empowering people, unlocking talent and ensuring that the next generation of South African creators has a chance to be seen, heard and rewarded for their work.

The 2026 World Cup in North America is just around the corner but is it in danger of being too bloated? The June 11-July 19 tournament in the United States, Mexico and Canada will feature a record 48 teams from six confederations, with 12 groups of four teams each. A new round of 32 will make its debut and the tournament will feature a record 104 matches in total, 40 games more than the 2022 edition in Qatar. Four countries that will be making their debut in North America are Curacao – the smallest nation ever to qualify for a World Cup – fellow minnows Cape Verde, and Asian newcomers Jordan and Uzbekistan. In comparison over World Cup history, the first tournament in Uruguay in 1930 had just 13 teams – three groups of three and one group of four nations. One winner from each group advanced to the semi-finals and the tournament comprised only 18 matches. There were no qualifiers then as it was an invitational tournament. In this episode, The Straits Times collaborates with Money FM 89.3’s Sports Minutes to invite nine fans in Singapore - who hail from participating World Cup nations - and together with columnist and pundit Neil Humphreys, they look ahead to what is in store at the June 11 to July 19 tournament. Marine vet and independent astronomer Crrow777 spent two decades pointing telescopes at things we were never meant to examine. In 2012 he filmed something that broke the internet and got him censored ever since. Tonight he shows us why.2012: Crrow films the lunar wave—a double ripple moving across the surface of the moon. Posted in 2013. YouTube channel deleted. Phone number changed. NASA calling. Flat Earth movement explodes using his footage. He calls it better described as a firmament wave. Filmed in front of Jupiter, Saturn, the sun. Not specific to the moon. Not even close to the moon. His thesis: What we call space may be better described as a sea. JFK's moon speech uses entirely nautical language. Project Loon satellites hang from balloons inside our atmosphere. NASA tells you the sun is 93 million miles away. Tycho Brahe's pre-telescope calculations place it closer. What his telescope has captured: lunar wave, black triangles between scope and moon, orbs backlit by moon and sun, a vortex visible only on full spectrum camera (invisible to normal cameras), shooting orbs around chemtrails that disappeared from naked eye sight after he posted the footage. Ten awards from independent film circuit for his documentary Shoot the Moon.Censored on all Google products. Backed everything up to private server at Crow777radio.com where nothing can be deleted.

This week, Candice and Malessa sit down with Jude Bernard, a NYC-based real estate investor, broker, and general contractor who built a significant portfolio of brownstones and rental properties across Brooklyn and Harlem. Jude shares how combining construction, brokerage, and investing gives him control over the full lifecycle of a deal, the risks and realities of operating short-term rentals in one of the most regulated cities in the country, and how value-add strategy has been central to growing his portfolio. He also opens up about the mission behind The Brooklyn Bank, his financial literacy and real estate education platform focused on helping underserved communities close the racial wealth gap through property ownership. Plus, the hosts unpack one of the biggest forces keeping housing inventory frozen: the lock-in effect. With nearly 60 percent of American homeowners holding mortgage rates under 4 percent, sellers aren't selling — and the ripple effects are pricing out first-time buyers and stalling the market. In this video I cover 3 times that travel vloggers accidentally filmed something disturbing and horrifying. I cover Logan Paul's Aokigahara Forest incident, the time that the Bethunes caught Gabby Petito's van as they passed through Wyoming, and the time Sarah Funk unknowingly filmed evidence of bodies being hidden in Mitsero Red Lake in New York. All of these vloggers were just minding their own business (except for Logan Paul) and ended up filming something that would change the way the rest of the world viewed investigations. This one is a bit late because I edited the video myself. I'm learning about visuals, pacing, lighting, and all sorts of stuff about being on camera and making transitions and stuff while using relevant b roll. I also spent a lot of time on the sound design and the "look" of the video after researching the topics. Please let me know how I'm doing by leaving a comment. In this episode of the Tactical Living Podcast, hosts Coach Ashlie Walton and Sergeant Clint Walton talk about a reality that has fundamentally changed what it means to work in law enforcement (Amazon Affiliate) and emergency services today: being filmed — constantly, publicly, and often without context — and what that persistent scrutiny does to the mind over time. Body cameras. Bystander phones. Social media clips edited for outrage. The modern first responder operates in an environment where every decision, every word, and every reaction is potentially one viral moment away from becoming a national headline. This episode explores the psychological weight of that reality and what it is doing to the people who still show up anyway.
Send us Fan MailOn this episode, I sit down with Jules Peters, the wife of the front man of The Alarm, the late Mike Peters. We discuss their incredible love affair, his long battle with cancer, The Alarm's new album, Transformation, and more.****"Mike lived a life of beauty and never gave up right to the very end,” says Jules Peters, bandmate and wife of the late Mike Peters of THE ALARM who passed away on April 29, 2025. Following a fearlessly valiant 31-year battle with cancer, his monumental legacy continues with the release of TRANSFORMATION on May 29, 2026 on Twenty First Century Recordings/Virgin Music Group. Its latest single, “Live Today” premieres now via Consequence.Filmed just days before Mike underwent the innovative CAR-T treatment with hopes of eradicating Richter's Syndrome, an aggressive form of lymphoma, “Live Today” is Mike's final video. “As the sun rose, watching Mike perform this song with so much optimism and hope will live with me forever,” said Jules as she looks back. “It was a bittersweet day for me as we filmed this incredible joyous film on the beach in the North of England. After filming concluded, we climbed onto the tour bus and drove straight to the Christie Hospital in Manchester, U.K.. We were full of determination that the pioneering CAR-T would save Mike's life but, at the same time, I was personally terrified as I couldn't shake off a feeling that cancer had finally caught up with us both.”Diagnosed with lymphoma in 1995 and later with chronic lymphocytic leukemia, Peters refused to let his illness silence him. Instead, he turned his fight into a mission to help others.Alongside his wife Jules, he co-founded Love Hope Strength, a music-driven cancer charity that revolutionized awareness and action around stem cell donation that continues beyond his passing. Through its innovative “Get On The List” campaigns—often hosted at rock concerts and even atop mountains—the charity has added over 400,000 people to the global stem cell registry and helped secure thousands of potential life-saving matches for patients worldwide. While this may seem like the final chapter for The Alarm, Transformation promises that the legacy of The Alarm will transform into something larger. While Mike has gone out in a blaze of glory, his love, hope and strength continues on. Echoing the title of the new single, Jules concludes, “Mike and the spirit of The Alarm will ‘Live Today,' forever more. I invite you all to blast Transformation out loud. Imagine Mike in the room with you. Transformation is his battle cry, his resilient love of life. Right to the very end, Mike believed that he was going to live, to be totally free. My last memory is driving him open top along the North Wales coast road, playing Transformation at maximum volume. He was so happy. So full of life. Playing his air drums, bass guitar, already imagining himself on his next world tour. So keep that positive spirit moving forwards. Imagine him as you all knew him best, striding out on to that stage, changing lives one concert at a time. This is an album of hope and a passionate celebration of a life well lived. Please do not be sad. Mike wouldn't want that. He was so proud of this album and had the best time recording it during the last six months of his life. Blast it out loud like Mike did. Play along to the track list and most of all, be happy that we all had Mike in our lives and continue to do so. The music of Mike and The Alarm will always keep us strong”.****If you would like to contact the show Dauna@betertopodcast.comFollow us on Social MediaYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCX0ETs2wpOHbCuhUNr0XFTw?view_as=subscriberInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/author_d.m.needom/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/bettertopodcastwithdmneedomSupport the podcast here: https://www.patreon.com/bettertopodcastwithdmneedom©2026 Better To...Podcast with D. Filmed live from Geneva, Switzerland, on the sidelines of the World Health Assembly, this episode of This Week in Global Development delves into the critical debates unfolding on the ground in Geneva. That includes the tense atmosphere following the World Health Organization's rare decision to proclaim a global health emergency over the latest Ebola outbreak, mounting fears regarding the virus tracking into dense urban centers, and how containment efforts are hindered by strict funding restrictions that leave the vast majority of voluntary budgets tied up. The discussion also looks at the highly anticipated — yet heavily criticized — joint strategy to reform global health infrastructure, capturing the frustration of analysts who feel the plan avoids essential conversations about institutional mergers. The behind-the-scenes maneuvering for the next WHO director-general selection enters the conversation as well, along with the complex legislative hurdles facing the African Medicines Agency as it strives to secure pharmaceutical independence across the continent.

Hidden Killers With Tony Brueski | True Crime News & Commentary
April 23rd, 2026. Two things happen at the B Street Cruise Terminal in San Diego. Disney Cruise Line announces a landmark partnership extension through 2031 — doubling sailings, projecting over a million passengers through that dock. On the same day, at the same terminal, CBP agents board the Disney Magic and walk ten crew members off the ship in restraints. A passenger films her family's head server being loaded into an unmarked van less than an hour after he served them breakfast. For fourteen days, nobody explains what happened. The operation is misidentified as an immigration sweep. Advocacy groups demand answers about detained workers they believe are immigration victims. On May 7th, federal authorities confirm the operation targeted exploitation material — not immigration status. According to CBP, 27 crew across eight ships were allegedly involved. Ten from the Disney Magic — 37 percent, more than double the next closest ship. Disney called it “a very small number.” KPBS confirmed zero charges filed. All deported within two weeks. No names. No registry. No record. Tony Brueski does the math Disney hoped you would skip. This is the opening of Cruising with Predators — a Hidden Killers investigation. The full five-part series drops next week.Join Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? From the special's press release, the show is "a dynamic hour of standup that blends humor and heart, exploring ever-evolving family dynamics, embracing her current stage of life, and the grand adventure of becoming a first-time mom in her later years. Following the success of her last two specials, 'Say I Won't' (over 8.6M views and counting) and 'Technically Not Stalking' (over 3.1M views and counting), it only makes sense that Anjelah also brings her 7th special to YouTube to continue making her comedy available to fans all over the world. The platform has been a home for Anjelah for over 20 years, ever since her 'Nail Salon' joke went viral. At the core of the special is Anjelah's journey into motherhood in her 40s. Using her natural wit and charm, she opens up about personal struggles with fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum life, while touching on the universal themes of relationships, generational shifts, and fighting people on airplanes. Ahead of the new special, Anjelah Johnson-Reyes shares: 'I'm grateful that I've been able to do this 7 times. My boobs may be falling lower but at least my career continues to reach new heights, all thanks to my loyal fans that have been riding with me for so long. I hope you enjoy my most vulnerable hour yet!' Filmed live across two sold-out shows at the historic El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles, the special is a co-production between her Laugh On Beat production company and 800 Pound Gorilla. The special was directed by Anjelah Johnson-Reyes and executive produced by Anjelah Johnson-Reyes, Manwell Reyes, Stephen Gordon Walker, and Jordan Levy. Anjelah is one of the most successful stand-up comedians today with six comedy specials streaming on various platforms and selling out theaters across the world. Her 7th comedy special serves as the capstone to her largely successful "The Family Reunion" stand-up comedy tour, which spanned 100+ shows in major theaters across the US in 2025–2026. Over the course of the tour she sold over 200,000 tickets including two sold out shows at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, 4 sold out shows at The Grove of Anaheim, a sold out show at Smart Financial Centre in Houston, TX, and a sold out show at The Ryman in Nashville, TN. Born and raised in San Jose, California, and of Mexican and Native American descent, Anjelah has guest starred on shows such as Life & Beth, Superstore, The Shield, Ugly Betty, and Curb Your Enthusiasm. Anjelah published her first memoir titled, Who Do I Think I Am?: Stories of Chola Wishes and Caviar Dreams, in March 2022. She also recently launched her new comedy and mental health podcast, Funjelah, where Anjelah and her guests recount the things that they are grateful for and dive deep into how those gratitudes affect their lives.
