Saturday Night Live sketch making fun of Chicago Bears fans and their accents
This week's episode is a fun one! (Really all of them are, as you know...) On it, we discuss the infamous Bears vs. Packers matchup: what's at stake, why Da Bears can win, and what needs to happen in order for that to happen. As for the Falcons side, the Dirty Birds are back from across the pond with a W as part of their carry on! Kyle Pitts pulled out the tea cup for his first NFL touchdown celebration, Matt Ryan is playing like a hungry veteran, and next up is a beatable Dolphins team after this week(end)'s bye. There's still plenty of Atlanta sports to discuss, though, as the Braves are celebrating Joctober in style—pearls and all. As of this recording, they're one win away from beating the Milwaukee Brewers and advancing to the NLCS again (hence, Wisconsin Hate Week), and this time for Braves fans, it feels more like business than it does good fortune. Beers are from Humble Forager and Ology Brewing. Cheers!
Bears vs Raiders Preview. Bears fans take over Vegas! Fields was named our starter moving forward; who gave Nagy the mandate? Hicks and Montgomery are huge losses, who is going to step up? Can the pass rush slow down David Carr and the Raiders' pass attack? Three years later, who won the Mack trade? On the field, clearly it was Da Bears, but what about the cap cost? Punt the QB podcast joins us on today's fantasy and gambling implications. They also share their favorite Oktoberfest beers! Flipka, CZ and Walker are unanimous on today's outcome...listen to hear who picked. Go Bears!
The Bears made it official earlier today, Justin Fields is now QB1 for the Bears! I could not be more excited, the future is here! We'll break that down, plus the White Sox are getting set to start their Division Series down in Houston. We'll preview that series and make a prediction. Finally, the Chicago Sky have qualified for the WNBA Finals for the first time since 2014! We'll break down their series against the Sun and preview who they might catch in the Finals

Week 4 review after a 24-14 victory. Great play calling by Lazor, although Nagy tried grabbing credit still. Let the ego go! Montgomery and Mooney were studs. Fields showed off his skill set and ability to pass down field. Defensive line continued to impress. Overall though, Da Bears need to put teams away. Podcast goes off the rails a little bit as we tell old Bears stories, complain about NFL commentators, and talk Carthage Football. Enjoy and go Bears!
Nagy gives up playcalling and the Bears' offense looks like a brand new beast...or was it a case of the Lions being the Lions? Join Draft Dr. Phil and Shayne "The Smartest Man" Marsaw for Bears Hour Live as they break down the divisional win over Detroit getting Da Bears back to 2-2 on the season.
Well that was an absolute disaster last week for the Bears. Suffice to say the Justin Fields era did not get off to a great start last week. We'll talk about that and why Matt Nagy has become so stubborn. Not all was bad in Cleveland over the weekend, though. The White Sox clinched the A.L. Central! Now they can focus on setting up their rotation and getting Tim Anderson through a suspension? Finally, the Chicago Sky are one step away from their first WNBA Finals since 2014!
Stupid sexy Flanders. This week we talked about the NFC North (and Ken had a lot to say about Da Bears), if the current WNBA playoff format should change, the MLB playoff race, what attending the Ryder Cup was like, NBA media day takeaways, how accurate the ESPN NBA Rank top 10 is, bags fumbled in the heavyweight division, and more. 9 sacks. 1 net yard passing. Nagy failed Fields and Chicago Bears fans around the world. This can not continue. George McCaskey needs to show leadership skills and fire Nagy, Pace and Phillips. If not, Fields will be destroyed just as Trubisky was. Da Bears fans deserve better!
New England Sports Network betting analyst Sam Panayotovich joins John Williams to talk about the Bears and what to expect, and where the White Sox will end up now that they’re in the playoffs.
The Justin Fields era has begun! Matt Nagy announced earlier today that Fields will officially make his first start against the Browns. Will it be better than the pinch hit duty he did last week against the Bengals? Chicago is living in Ohio this week, Bears hosting the Bengals last Sunday and at the Browns this Sunday while the White Sox start a 5-game trip in Cleveland starting Thursday. Drew Hagenbaugh will stop by from State of Ohio Sports to help break it down. Plus, the Sky begin their WNBA playoff run tomorrow night against the Wings!

Live from Charlotte, North Carolina? On the road victory review from Da Bears and Beers! Can Fields secure the starting position and Wally Pipp Dalton? Defense played phenomenal over the Bengals, forcing Burrow into three interceptions on three consecutive pass attempts. For Da beloved to take the next step, Nagy needs to check his ego and give up play calling. Will he? Beer review from Foothills Brewing in Winston Salem, NC; their Festival Express IPA. A juicy IPA loaded with citrus hops in a 19.2 oz can. Pretty damn good! As always, we love Da Chicago Bears and Beers! Go Bears!

Week 1 of the NFL season is in the books and it was not kind to the Bears. We'll look back on the 34-14 drubbing at the hands of Matthew Stafford and the Lions and also look ahead to Week 2, the home opener against the Bengals. What more does Nagy need to see before going to Justing Fields? Is the Bears defense really elite any more? We'll also look in on the White Sox in action against the Angels. Will that Magic Number drop all the way to 0 by the time we talk next week?

Da Bears lose 34-14 on Sunday Night Football. Offense has been a long term issue, but the defense really disappointed in week 1. We discuss Eddie Jackson, the pass rush and of course Justin Fields. Should he get a bigger role, especially with the uncertainty at left tackle? Should the Bears start the clock on his rookie deal? Bears and Beers also highlight Lagunitas' Daytime IPA and our sponsor, Augie's Rock N Roll Deli. As always, we love the Chicago Bears and Beers. Go Bears!

Louis Ragone joins Michael Fink to discuss the new depth chart, Xavien Howard's new agreement, and Da Bears who Miami opens the Preseason with next Saturday. On offense Michael is a little concerned with the depth at tackle and on defense cornerback depth is also a concern. We both agree that adjusting Howard's contract was the right move by the front office and we explain why. We look ahead to the Bears and tell you what we think we'll see from the starters. Football season is finally here!
