Today’s show is a BIG one, as we’re celebrating our 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY of The Influencer Podcast! So, we wanted to do something special - obviously. I mean, a one-year anniversary only happens once right?! We’re bringing back five of the most popular guests from episodes that the community seemed to deeply connect with. Today, these 5 stellar women are answering two questions with lessons that we didn’t discuss the first time they were on. Jennifer Puno from PeopleMap, my life & business coach Nicola Salter (@nicolasalter__loves_life_), Melody and Monica from SimplySpaced (@simplyspaced) and Lauryn Evarts from The Skinny Confidential (@theskinnyconfidential) are the star guests today, and I asked each of them the same two questions… What was your biggest lesson to growing an impactful and influential business? What’s one tip or focus in 2018 for improving your platform and serving your community? Let’s just say their answers do NOT disappoint and I re-listened to the show about 15 times taking notes. They give tactical tips on how to improve your influence today, and tidbits on the practices that make them all crazy successful (while still having a life, might I add!). I also give my own answers to both of those questions - with answers that might surprise you! It's super helpful to set measurable goals for yourself, especially when you're growing your business. For example, if you want to get 10,000 Instagram followers, make a plan for how you'll gain more followers each day. Once you've made a plan, it'll be much easier to accomplish your... An interview with Fashion-Forward Funny Chick/Starter-Upper/App-Developer/ Entrepreneur/Photographer/Pop-culture Icon/Friend to Girls/ One of the best-dressed gals I know, Jennifer Puno. We will be breaking down the process of quitting a job you don’t like in favor of pursuing your dreams. In this episode I get to interview one of my besties, Jennifer Puno, or as she’s known to most, “Puno.” She, along with her husband Daniel, has created the curated photographic map of cool and beautiful places across the globe, “Made with Map,” on Instagram. Aside from MAP, Puno has a million other awesome projects – “just cuz,” including a Startrek homage – with photos and gifs, shot on location in Iceland, with photographer friend, Ken Lin. The topic of today’s podcast is Path-Forging: basically, authoring your own life – fearlessly, but intelligently – including pragmatic steps to take if you’re in need of a total career-change. In my opinion, Puno took on this process in the best way possible: with data and spreadsheets to ensure she had the right back-up plan and savings mapped out while she figured out her next step. For those of us who find all numbers to be super hard, those spreadsheets, as well as an awesome dance party video will be available for free in the blog version of this interview on Teaspoon Of Happy. (Keep your eyes peeled in the next couple days.) I hope you enjoy! And smile peeps! Trekkies go on an away mission to Iceland Few places on Earth have landscapes as diverse and breathtaking as Iceland. And with such variety of locales, a Trekkie naturally sees other worlds and adventures. When you multiply that by four you get a real away mission, which is what Andrew Jason Leung, Ken Lin, Jennifer Puno, and Mike Rousseau embarked upon during a recent visit to the country. While there the group shot an extensive set of amazing photos as they donned Star Trek threads, and to share them with the world they've set up a photo-centric website that will sweep you away to beautiful—and sometimes alien—landscapes. View the photos.   Garrett Wang is waiting to meet you on Risa Risa, the Star Trek social media site, is currently celebrating its one-year anniversary. To celebrate, the team over on Risa are running a special promotion and have hooked up with Garrett Wang, Voyager's Harry Kim, for an extra-special grand prize. The promotion is simple: include the hashtag #harrykim when you post a message on Risa between now and June 30, 2014. By doing so you'll be entered into a drawing for prizes, which include a video chat session with Garrett. Visit Risa and enter the contest.
