Josh Yates is a new addition to the Josiah Venture USA team. He serves with a new initiative called the Leadership Lab, which involves training and equipping ministry leaders in North America. In this episode, he shares how he met his wife, Katie, while they were both students at Moody Bible Institute. Upon graduating in 2000, Josh accepted his first youth ministry pastorate, and they have been serving in full-time ministry ever since. Most recently, Katie has served as the Operations Manager and Josh as the Associate Director for Sonlife North America. They desire to use their skills and leadership vision for a more significant Kingdom impact. In the waiting process, they continued to ask, "How might we build up young leaders to be effective kingdom disciple-makers?" Josh and Katie have two children, Foster and Jorie. They enjoy hosting friends and family around great food and fellowship, frolicking through the woods, biking down the mountain, sipping quality beverages, or eating donuts on the weekend.
