This week we're crackin' open Buddy Sprinkles Saves the Day, an IPA from Kent Falls Brewing Company located in Kent, CT. Kent Falls is a farm brewery located in upstate Connecticut and this particular brew is named after their brewery cat. Cheers!
Zac Ross was previously head brewer at Kent Falls Brewing Company here in Connecticut before moving to Virginia to head the barrel program at Aslin Beer Co. In 2019, Zac came back to Connecticut to become head brewer at Twelve Percent's new production brewery in North Haven, CT. Twelve Percent produces beer on a contract basis for Stillwater, Evil Twin, Omnipollo, Dugges, Hoof Hearted, and Zac's new Marlowe Artisan Ales, a brand named after his late grandfather. We had a fantastic conversation live over ZOOM video conferencing chatting about Zac's start in the brewery world, where his love of beer comes from, what it's like being a head brewer, his time at Kent Falls Farm Brewery, his favorite styles of beer to brew & drink, what he enjoys doing in his free time, his new brand Marlowe Ales & so much more! Zoom and our internet connection wasn't the kindest to us so we apologize for the audio, but hey these things happen!! --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
