From the New York Times bestselling author of The New Revelations and Conversations with God comes a galvanizing vision of spirituality unlike anything you've experienced before.... Humanity is about to create a new form of spirituality on earth. Neale Donald Walsch believes that this New Spirituality will allow humans to express their natural impulse toward the Divine without making one another wrong for the way in which they are doing it...and without killing each other in the name of it. In Tomorrow's God, Walsch offers compelling reasons why adopting this new belief system is in the best interests of humankind -- now. Tomorrow's God contains an astonishing prediction, one that comes from an astonishing source: God. Presented as a conversation between God and Walsch, this startling, profound book is offered in two parts: Part One deals with humanity's current conception of God, and the new ideas about the Deity that will characterize God in our not-too-distant future. Part Two examines how these ideals will be put into place -- and how they will impact our lives, and help us to create a newer, better world. Controversial, challenging, and illuminating, Tomorrow's God provides both spiritual and down-to-earth advice on what each of us can do to cope with the current world crises -- and experience God in such a way that ourexperience of one another will be healed at last.
In this powerful show Cliff Lindermann and I interview the great coach and wonderful man, frosty. Forrest "Frosty" Westering (December 5, 1927 – April 12, 2013) was an American football coach.[1] He served as the head coach at Parsons College (1962–1963), Lea College (1966–1971), and Pacific Lutheran University (1972–2003). His career mark of 305–96–7 is a National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) record for most coaching wins, and he ranks ninth in wins among all college football coaches. Under Westering, Pacific Lutheran won four national titles (three NAIA titles and one NCAA Division III title). After Westering retired, his son Scott took over as head coach of the Pacific Lutheran football team. He still coaches football at Pacific Lutheran today. Frosty's daughter Sue Westering is a gym teacher at Gig Harbor High School, where she coaches the girls volleyball team. She also serves as an assistant to her brother at PLU.

Live from Union Hall in Brooklyn! The producers of “Kevin McDonald’s Kevin McDonald Show” take over because of Kevin’s failure to attract a broad commercial podcast audience (:40). A well-travelled socialite (Brian McCann), also named Kevin McDonald, is installed as the show’s new announcer, making Kevin suspicious (4:13). Is he being replaced? Then, Kevin performs a song (8:20) and is forced to read three chapters from his “scandalous tell-all” he didn’t write (11:10). Later, TJ Miller joins Kevin in a new sketch about a father’s determination to build the best Haunted House in the neighborhood (also featuring Jo Firestone, Sarah Heveron-Smith, Andrew Block) (16:38). Then an interview! TJ reminisces about the time his college paid for Kevin to come teach improv, expresses his hatred for the organic opening in improv, and discusses absurdism in comedy (28:42). Last, but certainly not least, Craig Finn (The Hold Steady) plays "Maggie I've Been Searching For Our Son" from Faith In the Future (1:02:00) and "Jester & June" (1:07:20) // "Be Honest" (1:12:43) from his latest record We All Want the Same Things.Kevin McDonald's Kevin McDonald Show is a Forever Dog Podcast:https://foreverdogpodcasts.com/podcasts/kevin-mcdonalds-kevin-mcdonald-show
Kevin McDonald is an ingenious comedic performer and writer currently based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Originally from Toronto, McDonald is best known as a member of the hugely influential Canadian sketch troupe, the Kids in the Hall. This August marks the first anniversary of McDonald’s inventive variety show podcast, Kevin McDonald’s Kevin McDonald Show, a mix of sketch comedy and conversations and musical performances, which has featured guest turns from Mike Myers, Wallace Shawn, Rachel Dratch, Ted Leo, Michael Showalter, Craig Finn, Susanna Hoffs, Rob Corddry, and his fellow Kids, Scott Thompson and Dave Foley, among many others. McDonald and I had a chat recently about living in Winnipeg, his idiosyncratic approach to comedy podcasts, John Lennon’s perfect rock ‘n’ roll life, the new wave of sketch comedy, news about the Kids in the Hall and their upcoming appearance at a benefit show featuring Dave Thomas, Rick Moranis, and many members of the original SCTV cast, and much more. Sponsored by Pizza Trokadero, the Bookshelf, Planet Bean Coffee, and Grandad's Donuts.
Kevin McDonald’s Kevin McDonald Show is back with a very special in-studio interview with Craig Finn from The Hold Steady! Shortly after questioning his cloudy cup of water and insulting a country, Kevin talks with Craig about his latest album “We All Want The Same Things,” the philosophy behind his songwriting, and his illustrious musical career with The Hold Steady and as a solo artist. They discuss humor in music, The Replacements vs. Hüsker Dü, writing during politically tense times, “classic rock bands” crossing the Canadian border, and much much more. Plus at the end of the show (1:19:00), Craig plays a beautiful, acoustic rendition of “Be Honest” from “We All Want The Same Things.”Kevin McDonald's Kevin McDonald Show is a Forever Dog Podcast:https://foreverdogpodcasts.com/podcasts/kevin-mcdonalds-kevin-mcdonald-show
