While millions of Americans are affected by musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions, these chronic issues often don't receive the attention they deserve – even as they contribute to rising health care costs and lost productivity. For benefits brokers and advisors, MSK presents numerous challenges. This, in turn, demands an innovative, data-driven approach that can reduce costs, elevate care and improve workforce productivity. In this special podcast, “Rewriting the playbook on MSK: innovation that benefits everyone,” that is sponsored by AposHealth, BenefitsPRO Contributor Michael Krieger talks MSK with two leading experts in the field: Gus Georgiadis - the former Area Chairman of the Gallagher Benefit Services operations in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and upstate New York. He is also the  founder and President of Triad USA, Inc., and Executive Vice President for Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield. Scott Thompson – who is an Area President in Chicago with the Research and Insights service line, which is part of Gallagher's Human Resources and Compensation Consulting practice. During the podcast, Krieger, Georgiadis and Thompson discuss: The major shift in how employers and benefits advisors view MSK, and what's driving that change How MSK affects absenteeism and productivity, and what benefits brokers can do to better address these challenges The role of wearables and other devices in MSK care, and which technologies are actually moving the needle

It was a fun sized show this week as Mark and Hannah welcomed the queen of Alternative Comedy Beth Lapides and powerhouse singer/songwriter Savannah Pope to the lighter side of the dark side. Beth just celebrated the 25th Anniversary of her show Uncabaret with a star studded show featuring Bob Odenkirk, Sandra Bernhard, Patton Oswalt, Maria Bamford and more. She recounted insisting that Scott Thompson of Kids in the Hall not perform in drag, how Julia Sweeney now regrets her hit character Pat from SNL, how she felt when she saw her comedy nemesis Andrew Dice Clay in A Star Is Born and she had to remind Mark that the Marvelous Mrs Maisel was a fantasy. She also talked about The Rockwell in Los Feliz which is where Uncabaret is now on a monthly basis. Savannah talked about growing up with show business parents (who apparently had jokes about editors) her music video Creature which was chosen as one of the top 20 videos of 2018 by Yahoo, directing her latest video Rock and Roll No More while laying in a coffin in the rain and sang a new song Freeway live in studio Get some Dark Mark Show gear Go to www.teepublic.com/user/dms1 for shirts, mugs, phone/laptop covers, masks and more! Tune in as 2 Cents Critic kicks off Pride Month! Yes, this month has circled back around for the year 2025, so the program will be focusing on queer art. For this first episode of June, Robyn Zabukovec (@TheFinalGirly) strides on back to her guest chair for a breakdown of Hannibal, the horror-thriller show that premiered on NBC in 2013 and spent three seasons diving into the grisly and psychological layers of the bond that grows between an FBI criminal profiler with a painfully perceptive knack for empathy and a cunning forensic psychiatrist who harbors murderous and cannibalistic secrets. Comparing this show to the underrated horror movie Sound of Violence (which Arthur and Robyn previously covered last Pride Month on 2CC), the fake TV series Clarice, and Robyn's hatred of the movies Hannibal (2001) and Red Dragon stand out as a few of the subjects on this episode.Developed by Bryan Fuller, Hannibal stars Mads Mikkelsen, Hugh Dancy, Laurence Fishburne, Caroline Dhavernas, Hettienne Park, Scott Thompson, Aaron Abrams, Gillian Anderson, Raúl Esparza, Kacey Rohl, Lara Jean Chorostecki, Suzy Eddie Izzard, Gina Torres, Anna Chlumsky, Katharine Isabelle, Michael Pitt, Joe Anderson, Vladimir Jon Cubrt, Cynthia Nixon, Richard Armitage, Rutina Wesley, Tao Okamoto, Glenn Fleshler, and Fortunato Cerlino.Spoilers start at 40:45Note: Sorry for not posting an episode last week! Did you go full balls to the wall for the holidays? Did you leave it all out there on the field? If you didn't, you have another chance, New Year's Eve is right around the corner. But don't drink and drive! If you do, Gay Bob has recommendations for what to wear to jail. And apparently the Atlanta jail has a Gay Tank, which absolutely needs to be made into a musical. Follow Bob here: https://www.facebook.com/bob.killough https://www.instagram.com/killough307/ https://99xatl.com/ Episode 86 You can't make this stuff up…Bob “The Queen” Killough hails from—the Queen City—Charlotte, North Carolina. Bob aka “Gay Bob” brings a unique mix of authenticity, wit, and charisma to the airwaves. Having lived in Atlanta long enough to proudly call it home, Bob's story is deeply woven into the city's fabric. In the early '90s, Bob embraced his identity here, marking the start of a journey that would take him from a chance encounter with Fabio at Lenox Square to connecting with 99X, who helped launch his radio career. That meeting landed The Queen a spot on The Morning X show, where his quick humor and genuine connection with audiences made him a standout for many years. The Queen expanded his creative repertoire, stepping into the world of stand-up comedy. His first gig was opening for Scott Thompson of Kids in the Hall fame, a fellow queen and comedic trailblazer. Over the years, he's shared the stage with icons like Margaret Cho, performing alongside her during her time in Atlanta. Today, Bob balances a dynamic career as a full-time Physician Assistant with his continued passions for radio and comedy. Back on the air with Barnes and Leslie, he brings his sharp humor, authentic storytelling, and unique perspective weekly. Whether he's making audiences laugh in a comedy club or connecting with listeners on the air, The Queen is a master at creating moments that resonate with laughter. Atlanta based Stand Up Comedian, Amy Brown, invites funny people into her costume chamber to have fun! Join her for a weekly gigglefest where she touches on a broad range of topics like motherhood, becoming a touring comedian, book writing, seasonal depression, how dogs are better than cats, yeah, I said it.
