Joe, Frazer & Dylan; 'Travel hopefully...' It's the climax of the 13th Doctor's first season and surely I'm not going to find anybody bold enough to celebrate the least loved episode of Doctor Who? Let alone stack up 9 reasons to watch this at the conclusion? Press play and find out!
This week, on a very sticky episode of Doctor Huh, we watched series 11 episode 10, "The Battle of Ranskoor Av Kolos"! It's our second encounter with the Thirteenth Doctor, and we were told by the foolish TV reviewers of 2018 that we wouldn't like it very much. How wrong they were! That's right, we've got a surprise hit on our hands! Maybe it's not good when you're watching normally, but that's none of our business. Sam | Jordan Twitter | Patreon | Discord | YouTube

Ben and Mark bring Series 11 to a close with two tales of spiritual saps being taken for a ride by old enemies of the Doctor. In The Battle of Ranskoor Av Kolos, Graham and Ryan get a satisfying ending even if no one else does. Whilst in The Keeper of Traken, Adric and Nyssa actually seem to like each other. What kind of evil energy is Peter Davison bringing in a few episodes' time? Also: Geoffrey Beevers climbing up the back of you, an invitation to the wedding of the year, Tom Baker's Ghost Detectives, and bum regenerations.Support the show (https://www.buymeacoffee.com/onthetimelash)
Series Thirteen is almost upon us, but what can we expect from it? In this far from definitive guide to the next six episodes, we predict the precise viewing figures, pull the trailer apart, discuss the BBC's promotional efforts and discover the truth about Ranskoor Av Kolos

We all saw this coming to be honest. I’m pretty sure the next season of Clone Wars comes out after this episode of Trust Your Doctor. Or at least the first episode. Maybe we should make a Clone Wars podcast just so that one day we can have the inevitable (ha) title of “Doctor WhoContinue reading →

So, here we are. We’ll be back tomorrow with a very special guest for Resolution but, since that’s a New Year Special, this is our final Doctor Who episode proper. As such, we did finally record at Joe’s then-flat, thus finally adding one more location that we’ve recorded the show in, and for old times’ sake, we even dug out the digital recorder we relied on for years which, for reasons unknown, decided to give us a real low quality recording the kind of which you might hear on a much worse podcast. We literally can’t explain why that happened so we hope the results don’t trouble you too much. Anyway, enough of that. It’s The Battle of Ranskoor Av Kolos, the kind of title that sounds like a sci-fi parody and features a returning villain. There!s usually a sense of diminishing returns when this happens and it’s the case here too, but with the unfortunate truth being that this villain wasn’t any good the first time. In fact, the best idea in this whole episode has already appeared in Doctor Who back in 1978. It’s inauspicious to say the least, but hey, why not throw caution to the wind and join us anyway?
Friends, the Doctor Who dark time is nearly over.
