This week, I am joined by Naper Settlement's Museum Educator Emily Dattilo. Emily was in my Master's cohort at Marquette University where she spent a significant amount of time working on public history. We talk about both her past work in a variety of museums and her current responsibilities at the Naper Settlement. Emily also talks about her experience blogging at https://thewalkinganachronism.wordpress.com/ (also on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/thewalkinganachronism). As historians, we also briefly record responses to the COVID-19 condition at the time of recording (March 19, 2020) before Emily gives us her advice on how people can get into the public history field. Check out her work, and thank you for listening to the Evoking History podcast.
