Send us a textThis was a SPECIAL engagement in Houston, TX for the PREMIER Book release of "Son of SouthTown" by Sonny Sandoval. We had an amazing first event with the Bands "SPOKEN", "RELENT", and "REBORN", all while Sonny met everyone, signed books, and took pics. 1LoveHTX had the honor of giving away 600 books to people through the Houston market over 3 days. We visited private events, bars, churches, and sober living homes. It was an amazing time. This interview was during the FIRST night in Houston. We gave the audience a chance to ask some questions while Sonny answered, Near the end of the interview, we also had a special guest, Mr Randall Reeder....an actor from the Hollywood Blockbuster, "DEADPOOL". Randall Reeder and Frank Lessiter discuss ridge-tilling on this week's episode of the “No-Till Influencers and Innovators” podcast. Once the primary form of conservation agriculture throughout Iowa, ridge-tilling involved building ridges in the fall, and then knocking over and planting into the tops of those ridges in the spring. The method pushed weed seeds near the crops into valleys between the ridges, along with residue, where it would be quickly canopied over by the growing crops – usually corn – and help retain water.

In September of 2021, No-Till Farmer commissioned a project to determine the most significant research and publications that assisted in the understanding, and adoption, of no-till agriculture. Randall Reeder, retired ag engineer from Ohio State University and Don Reicosky, retired USDA soil scientist, collaborated on a detailed process to complete the large and aggressive project in advance of three important no-till milestones in 2022.
