Chicago label, Large, has been releasing fantastic music since the early 1990s and boasts a back catalogue that reads like a who's-who of house... Kerri Chandler, Matteo & Matos, Glenn Underground, Dennis Ferrer, Fresh & Low, Roy Davis Jr, 95 North, Lil' John Coleman and many, many more. We've been playing their records since release number three (1993's "I'm Leaving You" by Ulysses, fact fans) and it's a huge honour for us to follow in such illustrious footsteps with our latest EP. To celebrate the release we've put together a mix of some of our favourite tracks from the Large back catalogue (plus a couple of the cuts from our new EP). Enjoy! –Fish Go Deep Tracklisting: Time & Space (Enter the Void Remix) - Dirtytwo (2017) Let Me Love You - DJ Rasoul featuring Shanan (1999) I'm Leaving You (Red Dog Mix) - Ulysses (1993) Joy 2 My Life - Matteo & Matos (2002) Universal (Part Two) - Solar House (1999) Baby Tell Me - Fish Go Deep (2017) Raw Grooves Two - Kerri Chandler (1995) Unconditional Love - Dennis Ferrer (2000) Like Jazz - Halo & Jay J (2004) I Can't Look - Fish Go Deep (2017) Perfect 11 - TJ Kong & Russ Gabriel (2012)

The fifth installment of the vinyl-only Avenue Red Podcast series comes from Belgian vinyl-junkie, veteran DJ and label owner Bart Van Neste, better known to most people as Red D, whose stunning RA podcast released 2 years ago is still very fresh in our mind. He set up his We Play House imprint in 2008, initially to release the music of fellow Belgian @san-soda, who was at the time a relatively unknown young talent, and from there it has developed into a very successful house label, purveying some quality records from the likes of Reggie Dokes, Maxim Lany, Russ Gabriel, Dynamodyse, Raoul Lambert, James Teej and many more. This selection from Red D is very much a colourful mixture of varied house music, full of sweetly melodic moments, warm basslines, depth, soul and delicious beats 'n' grooves... exactly the kind of music that Avenue Red embraces. We hope you love it as much as we do! @red-d @we-play-house-recordings ===== 01 Tythe - Let The Dance End // Sunday Best (2013) 02 Matti Turunen - Fall (feat.
