The Celtics beat the Cavs 117-115 and Pritchard put on a show!!! Despite an immense amount of hate from some fans, he puts up 42pts on a crazy efficient 15-22 from the field and 6-11 from 3! There was nothing he couldn't do in this game. He finished at the rim, from deep and had a bunch of his midrange shots with 6 big FTs sprinkled in there as well. This really was a huge game for him.JB, while is wasn't his most efficient night, put up a 19pt 12reb 11ast TRIPLE DOUBLE! Jordan Walsh contributed a ton with a 14pt 11reb double double and Anfernee Simons stepped up in a major way in the first half as well. The Boston Celtics put on an offensive clinic on November 23rd, defeating the Magic 138-129. The highlight was a spectacular second quarter where the team dropped a stunning 48 points on 78.3% shooting, building a massive 80-57 lead at the half. This performance was fueled by blistering pace, leading to 19 fast break points in the first half, and unselfish play, generating 20 assists on 31 made field goals. We break down the masterclass performances from the team, including Jaylen Brown's strong finish, the excellent playmaking from Pritchard, and the dominant presence of Minott in the paint. Despite their 26-point advantage, this game turned into a nail-biter as the Magic mounted a furious fourth-quarter rally, cutting the lead down to six in the final minute. It took pure clutch heroics to secure the victory: Jaylen Brown scored 10 straight points to keep the team afloat. Tune in as we dive into the near-collapse, celebrate the explosive offensive numbers, discuss the impact of our bench, and crown our Player of the Game from this chaotic, high-scoring victory. In 1995 two of UK trad climbing's brightest stars left Llanberis for Pakistan's Trango Tower. Paul Pritchard and Adam Wainwright honed their skills and boldness on the sea cliffs of North Wales. Their lives led them onto bigger things. In part one of this two-parter we trace a line through their friendship, what climbing was like in the early 1990s and their motivations to go to Pakistan.
The Celtics blow the doors of the Grizzlies 131-95 and we finally got to see 48 minutes of great basketball. Granted, it came against a bad Grizzlies team that was also decimated with injuries but you have to love seeing good basketball regardless. Pritchard led the way in this one with 24pts alongside 6reb and 9ast and was making some insane passes out there getting everyone involved. This was also the first time this season where Derrick White truly looked like his old self which is great to see! This was another game where Queta and Luka Garza really played well contributing 13pts 8reb and 14pts 7reb respectively. Because of their strong play, the Celtics did out rebound Memphis 58-41 in this game! Overall, there are a lot of strong performances and not a lot of negative to talk about which isn't how a lot of these early season games have gone lol. The Celtics move to 6-7 on the year and have a very winnable stretch of basketball ahead of them! This podcast is brought to you by me, Guy DePlacido. The Celtics fall to the Magic 123-110 in an ugly game both offensively and defensively. Pritchard and JB both contributed a lot offensively scoring 32pts and 27pts respectively but they didn't get a whole lot from others and JB didn't really contribute in the 4th quarter either. The bright spot in todays game was the fact that it seems like Pritchard has broken out of his shooting slump so if that continues and White can also break out of his, the Celtics might be in a better spot. With all that being said, the Celtics gave up 17 3pt makes to a team that averages 10.4 and 31 FT attempts to a team that averages 24 so the Magic were really bullying the Celtics in this one. It was certainly another ugly loss dropping the Celtics to 4-6 but they have a chance at revenge on Sunday so hopefully they come out better! This podcast is brought to you by me, Guy DePlacido. The Celtics blew the doors off of the Wizards 136-107 behind monster performances from JB and Minott! JB led the way with 35pts 5reb and 5ast and started this game red hot scoring on 16 of the teams first 20pts and never seemed to slow down! Minott scored a career high 21pts tonight and was a menace defensively in his most aggressive game of the year. Pritchard scored 16 of his 18 points during their huge 2nd quarter run and Queta added a beautiful 15pt 12reb 5ast game. This is by far the best a big has played for the Celtics all season long. It was certainly an ugly first quarter but the Celtics cleaned up all of their mistakes and played a near flawless 3 quarters after it. On Clash of the Correspondents, James is joined by Sunderland fan Spencer Barrowman and Arsenal fan Adam Pritchard to discuss both sides brilliant start to the season, upcoming expectations and the FPL assets we should be considering from both. Will Arsenal ever concede again? They will of course but three goals conceded in 16 games this season and a run of eight in a row without being breached means talk of triple Arsenal defence is worth detailed discussion. It includes whether FPL managers should be concerned about rotation for Riccardo Calafiori and Jurrien Timber over the festive period, if David Raya should be an option and the desperation for those without Gabriel to want to get there. But Sunderland's defensive assets have performed well too. Robin Roefs is the highest scoring keeper in the game, there's discussion on Omar Alderete, Nordi Mukiele and Dan Ballard and options further up the pitch in the consistent Granit Xhaka and also Enzo Le Fee and Wilson Isidor. And should Viktor Gyokeres owners sell? Is Mikel Merino worth a short-term punt? Is Leandro Trossard going under the radar? And if Declan Rice can maintain his consistent FPL returns? The Celtics fall to the Jazz 105-103 and the final play perfectly exemplified tonight's game. Nurkic gets an offensive rebound and putback to take the lead with .6 seconds left. The Celtics wasted yet another excellent game from JB who ended the night with 36pts. This game was a nail biter down the stretch and the Celtics did get screwed a bit with a no call on a play where JB was so blatantly tripped it's almost laughable but that was far from the reason they lost this game. While White and Pritchard did (sort of) break out of their shooting slumps shooting 37.5% and 36.4% from 3 respectively, which is far better than where they have been this season, the Celtics ended the night shooting just 41% from the field and 21% from 3 and allowed 15 offensive rebounds in this game. I don't care how good JB played, it is going to be very hard to win any games like that. The only reason it was close is because of how bad the Jazz are lol. This was a frustrating loss to a team we should've beat. This podcast is brought to you by me, Guy DePlacido. The Celtics beat the 76ers 109-108 in a Halloween bloodbath! The Celtics led by as many as 24 in this game and certainly struggled to score down the stretch after a scorching hot start. The scored 68pts in the first half shooting 56% from the field and 42% from 3 and those numbers plummeted to just 41pts on 32% from the field and 20% from 3 in the 2nd half. The late game execution was less than ideal especially in the last 30 seconds including some missed free throws and a disjointed inbounds play at the end but the Celtics pulled off a huge win!Jaylen Brown led the way once again with 32pts on 68% shooting and 57% from 3 adding to his insanely efficient start to this season!! Outside of JB, the Celtics got solid contributions across the board including 15pts from both White and Pritchard. Although their 3pt shooting was horrible once again in this game, they impacted the game all over the place. Minott had a huge impact on the boards and Simons helped a ton with his 19pts off the bench. This was a great team win with contributions up and down the roster! After a sluggish 0-3 start, the Celtics have now rolled 3 straight wins to get back to .500 which is great to see! This podcast is brought to you by me, Guy DePlacido. The Boston Celtics' first quarter against the Knicks offered a glimpse of a smooth performance, as the team jumped out to a 30-22 lead with great ball movement and pace. However, the game spiraled into an absolute nightmare in the second quarter. The Knicks dominated with a brutal 42-14 run, fueled by an 11-0 and a 17-0 burst. Boston struggled with turnovers and could not stop the Knicks from scoring 16 fast break points and grabbing 12 offensive rebounds in the first half. This collapse led to a massive 64-44 halftime deficit. Though the Celtics were unable to mount a full comeback, they showed flashes of resilience in the second half, spurred on by picking up the full-court defense in the fourth quarter. Individually, there were highlights, including big three-pointers from Pritchard that helped stop a Knicks run and another that began to close the gap in the final period. Jaylen Brown hit some tough shots, including an early third-quarter three and a pull-up three late in the fourth. Additionally, Hugo provided a boost with excellent defense and his first NBA bucket. Ultimately, the deficit was too large to overcome, and the Knicks secured the 105-95 victoryThis podcast is brought to you by me, Guy DePlacido. When most people think of the Thoroughbred industry, they picture racing, speed, and high stakes. But what happens to these horses after the finish line? And could their intelligence, courage, and sensitivity make them perfect partners in equine-assisted work?✨ “It's a win-win situation for the equine-assisted world and for the Thoroughbred world — an opportunity to give back to society in a meaningful way.” – Suzi Pritchard-Jones✨ “Any living creature is made up of energy. Unless you can express that energy, it gets bottled up and becomes destructive.” – Suzi Pritchard-JonesIn this compelling episode, Rupert Isaacson speaks with Suzi Pritchard-Jones — a breeder and advocate working to bridge the gap between the racing world and the equine-assisted community. Suzi shares her vision for a more humane future for Thoroughbreds, both during their careers and beyond, where welfare, horsemanship, and second careers in therapy and education take center stage. From Ireland to Florida to the UK, Suzi is pushing for change within an industry often misunderstood and criticized, championing transparency, accountability, and empathy for one of the world's most athletic and misunderstood breeds. Together, she and Rupert explore how Thoroughbreds — once the engine of civilization — can once again serve humanity through healing, learning, and connection. If you want to support the show, you can do so at Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/LongRideHome

Welcome to Britain's most haunted house — 30 East Drive in Pontefract — where a seemingly ordinary family home turned into a prison of nightmares. What started with mysterious puddles, floating dust clouds, and furniture that moved on its own quickly escalated into full-blown poltergeist chaos. Known by the Pritchard family as Fred, the Black Monk of Pontefract wasn't just mischievous — it was terrifying, violent, and maybe even hungry (yes, this spirit snacked on sandwiches). From eggs exploding mid-air to priests fleeing after failed exorcisms, the Pritchard family lived through a haunting so wild it inspired an actual horror film. But in between the chills, there are moments so bizarre they're almost funny — like disembodied fur gloves conducting a hymn sing-along. Still, the poltergeist's obsession with teenage Diane, culminating in a nightmarish attempt to drag her away, proved this was no harmless prankster.
