Dave Seaman - YoHo (incl. James Harcourt Remix) - Selador Support from Eelke Kleijn, Paul Van Dyk, M.A.N.D.Y., AFFKT, Anthony Pappa, Danny Howells, Nicole Moudaber, Hernan Cattaneo, Luke Brancaccio, Timo Maas, Aikon, Tim Engelhardt, Just Her The Boss is back in town, and how. On a roll…in the ascendancy…top of the current form table…all epithets that could be applied to Dave and his stellar output in recent months, be it solo or in tandem with Quivver; on Selador, or with our friends at labels such as Sum Over Histories, Mobilee, Einmusika and Poker Flat. And so to YoHo. It might sound like a new brand of pro-biotic yoghurt, or a vodka mixer… or even, as in our case, conjure up visions of piratical shenanigans. Be warned however, this particular sonic shanty, will provide all the treasure you'll need for your own desert island disco. The Original mix is textbook Dave, growing bigger and broodier with each newly introduced motif. The post-breakdown conclusion a squelching and menacing fusion of Bauhaus meets DJ Pierre proportions. The Teutonic Dub then strips things back to bass-ics, an intoxicating brew that nods to the original Prog sound circa 1991 while sounding every bit as 2024 as a Tory MP abadoning ship. Our triumphant triptych is completed by one of our favourite Seladorians, Mr James Harcourt. In a move too seldom seen, James does much more than just nod to the vibe of Dave's originals, but equally his scattergun riffage and gorgeous keys take the tune to a euphoric elsewhere. So much so, it was the version Dave & Quivver chose for inclusion on their upcoming Balance Mix compilation album. Ooh ahhh.. Shiver mi timbers! Team Selador – YoHo ho and a bottle of your finest.

And you thought we were going to stop at three? No siree, not us, always gluttons for punishing ourselves with only the Toppermost Tuneage™. So, we had a little summer break from the Decade EPs, which enabled us to release some other humdingers. Now like D-Mob we're back with a vengeance, and it's time for tracks 12-15 in Selador's birthday-celebrating Crate of Colossal Collabs™. 4 more tracks, 8 more artists, and we could easily subtitle this instalment Face Melters R Us™, as purely by coincidence, each dream team was clearly in Peak Time Banger™ mode. So without any further palaver, here's the Tunes to Make You Go Hmmmm™. Quivver & Dave Seaman: 'Rapid Unscheduled Assembly' Long time mates and mutual admirers, Dave and Quivver have collaborated on releases for Mobilee, Poker Flat, Einmusika & Controlled Substance over recent months and we're chuffed to bits their fifth Certified Floorfiller™ is right here, right now. Oona Dahl & Doc Martin: 'Soul on Fire (dub)' Getting our old mucker Doc on the Decade series and a label debut for Oona Dahl were both high on the wish list. The two of them together produce the expected fireworks, and this thus drops straight in the basket marked Wish Fufilment Overload™. Magit Cacoon & Lonya: 'Quantum' Another debutant / previous Seladorian combo, and we're proud to have the one and only Magit Cacoon add Selador to the enviable list of labels she has worked with, alongside another special talent in The Vanguard of Clubland™, our good chum Lonya. Murat Uncuoglu & Igor Bartyuk: 'Laurel' The man like Murat graces Selador for no less than the fifth time, teaming up with the masterful Igor Bartyuk, who has been making serious waves, most notably on the Surrealism imprint. Two minds working as one, clearly Together In Electronica Dreams™. Team Selador – House, Techno & All Flavours Inbetween™

In this episode, we present to you an impressive lineup of artists including Stelios Vassiloudis, Will Taylor, Paluma, Mason Talbot, Vinyl's From The Past and Music News. https://75dc83.p3cdn1.secureserver.net/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/MFAW-EP-105.mp3 Music From Around The World Episode 105 Transcription Intro: 0:00 to 0:15 This is Music From Around The World Episode 105. I'm your host Mason Vera Paine and in today's episode we will be featuring music from Stelios Vassiloudis, Will Taylor, Paluma, Mason Talbot, Vinyl's From The Past and Music News. Stelios Vassiloudis: Start - 0:16 and End – 6:53From Athens, Greece comes Stelios Vassiloudis, a DJ and Producer with classical training. His educational path led him to pursue an acoustical engineering degree followed by a master's in composition and arrangement. Take a listen to his latest track “Heat”. “Heat” is out now via Bedrock and it's available on all streaming platforms. Stelios diverse and strong musical background has allowed him to earn not only a loyal fan base but secure collaborations with renowned labels like Bedrock, Poker Flat, Ovum, and Constant sound. For the latest on Stelios and his upcoming projects visit: Steliosvassiloudis.com; that's S-T-E-L-I-O-S-V-A-S-S-I-L-O-U-D-I-S DOT COM Will Taylor: Start – 6:54 and End – 14:20DJ and Producer, Will Taylor is one of the leading names in the UK Tech House scene. His signature sound has been instrumental in setting the trends within the genre. Take a listen to his latest track “Famous”. “Famous” is out now via North of Neptune records and it's available on all streaming platforms. Since the start of his career, Will has been driven by a strong work ethic and desire to make unique music. This concept has opened the door to multiple opportunities like multi-summer residency at Amnesia Ibiza and club shows at Studio 338, Tobacco Dock, Motion Bristol and Soho Garden Dubai. For the latest on Will's upcoming appearances and projects visit: Instagram.com/willtayloruk; that's Instagram.com/W-I-L-L-T-A-Y-L-O-R-U-K Vinyl's From The Past: 14:22 to 25:06I am going to take a brief break from Vinyl's From The Past. In this limited run series, I will be exploring the pioneers that have shaped and influenced the EDM we have today. In this episode I will be featuring “Underworld”. “Underworld” was formed in 1987 and consisted of Karl Hyde and Rick Smith. As a duo they created synthpop music. However in 1990 the group became a trio and add Darren Emerson. At this point they went from synthpop to progressive house and techno. In 1996 they had their biggest mainstream hit “Born Slippy.Nuxx”, which was on the “Trainspotting” soundtrack. Take a listen here. “Born Slippy.Nuxx” captured the emotional and human element of the characters in “Trainspotting”. The use of vocals in EDM was new at the time because EDM tracks were largely instrumental. In addition, this track was a fusion and trance with its driving, repetitive. synth beats. This fusion blurred the lines with the genres. All of these things combined assisted with the evolution of EDM. That's it for this week's Vinyl's from the past; now let's get back to more music. Paluma: Start – 25:07 and End – 31:53Our next artist, Paluma is a DJ and Producer from Australia that specializes in minimal music and deep house. For more than a decade, Paluma has been entertaining audiences with his live performances in Australia. 2020, marked the beginning of his journey as a producer and saw the release of his debut produced track "Rock The Boat". Paluma is also known for his reworking of popular songs like Fergie's "London Bridge". He is back with his latest rework of Sean Paul's 2000 hit “Temperature”; take a listen to it here.

Family Theater was a dramatic anthology radio show which aired on the Mutual Broadcasting System in the United States from February 13, 1947, to September 11, 1957. The show was produced by Family Theater Productions, a film and radio studio extension of the Family Rosary Crusade founded by the Holy Cross Priest, Father Patrick Peyton, CSC, to promote family prayer. The motto of these Holy Cross Family Ministries is, "The family that prays together, stays together." The program had no commercial sponsor, yet Father Peyton, CSC arranged for many of Hollywood's stars in film and radio at the time to appear. In its ten-year run, well-known actors, and actresses, including James Stewart, Bob Hope, Lucille Ball, Raymond Burr, Jane Wyatt, Charlton Heston, Bing Crosby, Jack Benny, Gene Kelly, William Shatner, and Chuck Connors, appeared as announcers, narrators, or stars. A total of 540 episodes were produced. The program featured not only religious stories but half-hour adaptations of literary works such as A Tale of Two Cities, Moby-Dick and Don Quixote Listen to our radio station Old Time Radio https://link.radioking.com/otradio Listen to other Shows at My Classic Radio https://www.myclassicradio.net/ Podcast Service I Recommend https://redcircleinc.grsm.io/entertainmentradio7148 Remember that times have changed, and some shows might not reflect the standards of today's politically correct society. John Tejada on the Virtual Sessions presented by The DJ Sessions 6/28/22 About John Tejada - Normally associated with his peers in techno from Detroit, Europe and elsewhere, John Tejada has embraced electronic music as a personal frontier, expanding on his resume as a techno recording artist as producer, remixer, DJ, and label owner. Known for crafting a brand of subtle, musical techno, his recorded output ranges across tempo and genre lines, from chilled out affairs with spacious arrangements to pulsating, densely layered, deeply energetic tracks that work magnificently in the hands of DJs as well as on the home stereo. John Tejada was born in Vienna, Austria on April 21, 1974. His parents, both professional classical musicians (his mother an opera singer and father a conductor) began his early piano training at the age of 4. In the summer of 1982, John would move with his mother to her place of birth, Los Angeles. It was that summer at the age of 8 another instrument would catch his eye, the drums. Teaching himself to play along to classic rock music, John quickly learned his way around the drum set (an instrument he still plays to this day in his I'm Not A Gun project). Everything changed however when he got his first taste of early 80's hip hop music. The impact of those early productions and electronic experimentation was very strong. Soon after, at the age of 12 John was given his first set of turntables and a mixer. He wanted to figure out everything he was hearing DJs do at that time. His first gigs came at the age of 12 for his own school, DJing his school dances. Soon after his fascination with DJing began his fascination with production began. Just as he was completely determined to learn the tricks of local DJs, he now wanted to know how the music was made. His introduction came around the age of 15, when he acquired his first looping delay. Soon after came his first workstation, an Ensoniq EPS sampler. This opened up a whole new world of possibilities. John spent every part of his day honing his craft. In 1991, while still in high school, John was already recording his first productions. He was also involved in college radio, even though he was just a junior in high school. John had a spot on “The Fly ID Show” with DJ Rob One. John produced the show's first record for Rob and also went on to do some hip hop production on Ruthless Records. It was during this time that he met his long time collaborator and best friend Arian Leviste. The two met at a hip hop recording session in ‘91. John, already tired of the hip hop scene and where it was going, spent hours talking to Arian about acid house, techno, ambient house and everything they seemed to have in common. The two agreed they would meet weekly to compose material. It took some time before they would release any music, but in 1994 they pressed up their own single and that started a chain reaction of releases. John and Arian during this time also were accepted into CalArts' (California Institute for the Arts) electronic music program, but both decided not to attend to hone their craft on their own. Soon after, John enjoyed a series of releases on European labels like A13, Multiplex, and Generations R&S. In the fall of 1996 he started his own label, Palette Recordings as an outlet to release his own productions without having anyone tell him how to do it. The demand for his music continued to grow and labels such as Ferox, Sino, Mosaic, Immigrant, Plug Research, Pokerflat and 7th City all released Tejada 12”s. John began traveling internationally in ‘97 to showcase his DJ skills around the globe, traveling to more than 25 countries and playing various clubs and festivals around the world. Festivals included Movement (formerly The Detroit Electronic Music Festival), Sonar Festival (in Spain and Tokyo), Dance Valley (Netherlands), Sync Festival (Greece), Mutek Mexico, as well as internationally known spaces such as Fabric (London), Yellow (Tokyo), Rex Club (Paris), The Walt Disney Concert Hall (Los Angeles) and many more. In 1999, John met classical jazz guitarist Takeshi Nishimoto, which was the beginning of another musical frontier. The two had a similar meeting as John and Arian had years before and began talking about making music. The project I'm Not A Gun was born and signed soon after to Berlin-based City Center Offices. This project would bring back John's own training as a drummer while also trying his hand at the guitar. The project became a mix of John's own electronic productions along with Takeshi's professional guitar playing and John's drumming. The project has enjoyed great reviews and success the world over and the duo has performed live in LA, Japan and Germany. In the summer of 2004, John would - in one week - create the two songs that would catapult his techno career. The classic “Sweat On The Walls,” and “Mono On Mono” were released almost at the same time on two different labels. “Sweat” was released on Pokerflat and “Mono On Mono” on Palette. Together the two records sold over 23,000 copies on vinyl. This lead to the equally successful follow up singles “Paranoia,” “Mind Bend” (with more recent collaborator and Palette-signing, Justin Maxwell) “Voyager,” and “The End Of It All.” With dozens of singles and remixes to his credit, he has also produced full-length albums for Playhouse, Palette, Plug Research, deFocus, Moods and Grooves, Immigrant and A13. I am neither afraid of showing my emotions nor including them in my music - StimmingFew people bring a truly original sound to house music. At a relatively young age, Hamburg's Martin Stimming did just that, demonstrating a sophisticated yet accessible sound that is beyond his years. Two years after hooking up with Solomuns Diynamic Music, his 2008 breakthrough hit Una Pena made the electronic world sit up and take notice, and before long acclaimed labels like Freerange, liebe*detail, Buzzin´ Fly, Green and Poker Flat were snapping up his work. 2009 saw him release his immaculate debut album Reflections to great acclaim, cementing his reputation as one of the most exciting new producers of his generation. His second album, Liquorice, eschews the normal kick-clap/snare template by and large to explore more interesting and progressive territories, but always with that trademark magpie-like sense of texture, emotion and discovery. His productions are filled with a multitude of his own unique, charismatic field recordings, and he never uses the same sample more than once.2010 saw him pick up an award for Best Newcomer at the Ibiza DJ Awards, following on from his live show (Stimming does not DJ) stunning the crowds at the islands legendary Pacha, and the finest danceries around the world from Berlins Panoramabar to Sao Paulo´s D-Edge, Brussels Fuse, London´s fabric and Paris Rex, and plenty more beyond.Remixes for the likes of Sascha Funke, Claude VonStroke, Deadmau5, Stephan Bodzin and Tom Novy to name but a few have further spread his influence amongst the discerning house and tech community, and cemented his reputation as one of the scene´s most exceptional producers.Clearly, Martin Stimming is a precious talent indeed. But then again, not everyone loves liquorice...

Steve Bug is one of electronic music's true originals. His relentless commitment to quality - both in his own work and in the many producers he has championed - has made him one of the world's most revered artists and curators, and along with his label Poker Flat has made a sizeable contribution to building the European house and techno scene as we know it. A dedicated, energetic and constantly innovative talent, Resident Advisor once called Steve Bug the “gentleman of techno” referring to his sense of duty and dependability as one of the world's most renowned DJs and producers. That same professionalism that means he's hardly ever missed a DJ gig is evident in his work as a composer, producer and owner of the Poker Flat Recordings label: a label whose influence on house and techno cannot be overstated. Every step he takes is well considered, but always tempered with his own fine sense of humour and innate love for his craft. Having grown up in Germany's techno and acid-house heyday, Steve Bug's love for a perfect groove is as apparent now as it was back then. His DJ skills and a keen, innovative ear led him not down the typical path of the early nineties trance and harder dance scene, but instead towards a fresher, hybrid sound–merging stripped deep house, tweaked out acid and more minimal forms of techno and electronic music. Although dedicated to his own labels – first and foremost the aforementioned Poker Flat – Steve's talents have naturally attracted the attention of other imprints. Bedrock, Knee Deep In Sound, Minus, Cocoon and Defected are just some of the labels that have championed original tracks and remixes. Steve is also one of the few electronic artists capable of putting out a ‘proper' album. Having released no fewer than five full length LPs over the last two decades, his latest Paradise Sold alongside Langenberg - a full ten-track album of exquisitely crafted house music on Poker Flat –was released in 2018 to critical acclaim, and described as “elegantly euphoric” by Mixmag, while a remix package of Paradise Sold with new interpretations from Rodriguez Jr., Frankey & Sandrino, Cassy and Virginia was supported by DJs and tastemaker publications across the board. In 2019 Poker Flat celebrated its 20th anniversary, marking this impressive milestone with a series of remixes of some of its most iconic releases from an incredible array of talented artists including Tim Engelhardt, Michael Meyer, Catz 'n Dogz, Acid Pauli, Guti, Butch, Matthias Kaden and Francois K. The anniversary remix series continues into 2020, with Harry Romero, Catz N Dogz and Acid Pauli amongst the producers given the keys to the hallowed Poker Flat vaults. 2019 also saw the launch of a new sublabel for Poker Flat, Sublease Music. Sublease was set up to champion deeper, more club-ready, tracky cuts from exceptionally talented producers that deserve a platform for people to hear them. This was the ethos with which Steve originally set up Poker Flat, so it seems fitting that as he celebrates 20 years of Poker Flat it's time for Sublease Music to bring a different sound to the world. Hitting its seventh release in summer 2020, Sublease has already made its mark, with exceptional releases from Kellie Allen, MANIK, Buraq and more besides. In 2020 Steve released his sixth studio album, Never Ending Winding Roads, with much of it produced during the months of enforced isolation due to the coronavirus pandemic. Many of the track titles reflect Steve's headspace during this time, with themes of solitude, contemplation and reflection brought to the fore perhaps more than with any of his previous work, with the 11 tracks exploring a range of different styles, including minimal house music, moody techno and effervescent breaks.
Canciones: Farewell To Chayanne (Once Upon a Time in The West) y Fistful of Dollars (soundtrack). ►Check out our fanlink.to/Y0UTUBE for your audiovisual experience◄ Adrian Flavor and Samy Jackson aka Animal Trainer present the next fantastic summer refresher exclusively here on Schirmchendrink: the Mezcal Mule! The dynamic duo has become one of the hottest properties on the international circuit and represent the epitome of what Switzerland's new generation of electronic artists has to offer. Raised in a city with arguably the strongest club scene in Switzerland, Zurich, Animal Trainer made their name through a series of parties called ‘Rakete', which still take place at the infamous Hive club. In 2008 Animal Trainer dropped their first release, ‘Talkshow', which was followed by releases with some of the industry's most influential labels; Defected, Poker Flat, mobilee, Einmusika, Katermukke and their own highly-regarded Hive Audio label among them. 2013 saw the release of Adrian and Samy's debut full-length album, titled ‘Wide'. Spread across 13 tracks, the LP demonstrated their maturity as artists, focusing on the dance floor, but also incorporating down-tempo cuts and collaborations with vocalists such as Jan Blomqvist and Jimi Jules. It was a resounding success, with widespread praise and leading publications such as Groove Magazine and Data Transmission weighing in with glowing reviews. With each new release Animal Trainer push the boundaries of their sound, introducing subtle nuances, unforgettable hooks, emotive rhythms or enchanting melodies while retaining their own individual groove to keep the dance floor bubbling. In the years since their first release Animal Trainer have maintained a constant focus on high quality club music, staying relevant when others have followed the hype, and evolving into a force to be reckoned with. They are party boys who take their music very seriously, but are never serious themselves – it's a winning combination that has kept them one step ahead and on a constant upwards trajectory. Whatever they do next you can be sure that it will be something special...so is this Mezcal Mule, by the way. Another round, please! In 2008 I started a series of radio shows with fellow Freak and host, Jonny Rock. The original format was based around vinyl. Digital started to creep in, then CD's, then YouTube rips, and so on. But the idea remained the same, that we were sharing our discoveries with an audience. Fast forwarding a couple of years and expanding on the original concept, I will once again be playing dance music that you may or may not have heard, but this time said music will be readily available, if pointed in the right direction of course. The idea is for you to use me as your selector slash shop assistant in a virtual record store. Not only will I be shouting about both old and new music, but I will also be following it up with a series of compilations to be released on my label, Classic throughout the year. I will be your slightly odd, slightly off-centre, guide. But ultimately and most importantly, your friendly on-line record shop assistant. Tracklisting: 01.
