Special guest Paul Anleitner presents a case for a paradigm shift away from a cultural faith that relies on aggression towards outside forces and requires a defense into one that seeks to saturate culture with the love of God.

Camp Hill UMC, Gary Weaver, Jeremiah 29: 4-7, Living In Exile
Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:1-2

A church becomes a more loving church when its members learn hot to love.
Have you ever found yourself living in a place you didn’t like? Have you ever worked a job you loathe? Have you ever been unable to avoid the person or people you can’t stand? What are we supposed to do when we are put in these less than desirable situations? In this message, we’ll learn what to do even when we're planted in Babylon.

Have you ever gotten into a debate with someone who held a position on a subject that was the opposite of yours? How did it go? Did you find yourself getting angry with the other person? If so, why do you think you got angry with them?

What does it mean to decree truth over a situation? This is how we can begin to be a blessing. Pray blessings that overshadow these other things—to replace the darkness that has overcome us. Read Isaiah 59 and 60: we bring light into darkness. We were meant to engage, and it happens; we were meant to engage. That’s what Papa would have us to do. We can begin to nullify and neutralize the effect of bad decisions and tough circumstances by making decrees of the solution over the situation...It is the responsibility of the church; it is the responsibility of the children of the Kingdom and the God of the Kingdom to make a difference and to engage.

In Babylon, the Jews were afraid to put down roots due to false prophets saying they wouldn't be there long. However, Jeremiah assured them they were going to be there for quite some time.
