Problema most of his designs were unworkable. For example, he envisioned man-powered flight using a “rowing machine”…. Man-powered flight had to wait for the invention of the bicycle and the vinyl envelope. Or a parachute with a wooden canopy - another nonstarter. So it is with Elon Musk's transportation ideas, such as a series of narrow tunnels under LA, kind of like that LooneyTunes one-way tunnel proposed by our own Mayor Megan Berry. The report was incorrect — it was a transformer fire. Generating Turbines are not off-the-shelf equipment, of course neither are transformers, but there are many of them, and they are much easier to repair they are an exterior part, not like a turbine and interior part.Instead of not charging Tesla's, perhaps housewives in LA can “line dry” their clothes, go back to hand washing dishes or turn off every other light in their home. Ask Kim Komando!A token of my appreciation is winging its way toward podnews an online podcast development service from the UK.A podcast critic from the UK dinged a podcast host for “doing it badly”. Of course, he's entitled to his opinion. If you're lucky enough to have a sponsor, treat them well. The only thing poor performance can cost you is listeners & they are everything. Yes, it helps to “separate” commercial content from “editorial” but that's a function of “stingers”. Those little broadcast squiggles are so beloved of “real” radio. I am reminded of a comment by Mark Twain “Never pick a fight with anyone who buys ink by the barrel.”I have changed it to: “Don't pick a fight with anyone who only goes by initials which includes: IRS, BMI, & ASCAP.”FYI/Internal Revenue Service (the income tax guys - for the benefit of listers in the UK), Broadcast Music Inc, American Society of Composers, Authors & Publishers. You don't want to get that message “Show us your copyright”.Fortunately for this podcaster, my Apple is populated with stingers & jingles, “Apple's” royalty-free music This podcast critique reminds me of those words of George Bernard Shaw “England & America are one people separated by a common language."

It's the one thing you may do from an otherwise locked iPhone. Our problem is our focus we employed the same strategy as in Viet Nam. We fought an amorphous enemy on his terms. The famous “seek & destroy” found nothing & destroyed the wrong stuff. We could have played The “Great Satan” card & made Kabul vanish in a cloud of nuclear dust. Sun Tsu would have counseled patience. “Know your enemy & in 1000 battles, you will not know defeat.” Revenge is a dish best served cold.

"I reject Eurocentric religion a.k.a racist religion because it promotes "divine colonization" and "divine imperialism." -Antonio Myers "The way our sensibilities are shaped determines who we are, including the order of our loves. For many Christians, their politics has become more of an identity marker than their faith. They might insist that they are interpreting their politics through the prism of scripture, with the former subordinate to the latter, but in fact scripture and biblical ethics are often distorted to fit their politics. Scott Dudley, the senior pastor at Bellevue Presbyterian Church in Bellevue, Washington, refers to this as “our idolatry of politics.” He's heard of many congregants leaving their church because it didn't match their politics, he told me, but has never once heard of someone changing their politics because it didn't match their church's teaching. He often tells his congregation that if the Bible doesn't challenge your politics at least occasionally, you're not really paying attention to the Hebrew scriptures or the New Testament. The reality, however, is that a lot of people, especially in this era, will leave a church if their political views are ever challenged, even around the edges." I also noticed that racist religion means assailing the sexual and reproductive health and rights of females (which I am deeply displeased by.) I like Social Justice Jesus, I like Jesus being a SJW (Social Justice Warrior). That's the only Jesus I like, admire, give acclaim to, and tread on the heels of. If not in production certainly in transportation — Last Spring I picked up a Tomato @ $1.95/lb. in Publix — labeled produced in Canada, which meant that tomato traveled from Canada to Lakeland Florida & then from Lakeland to Nashville, Tennessee. What's the latest from those environmental dunces' at the Nashville Public library?  You know those guys who received a paycheck from you when you couldn't go to work. Not content with a false claim to be a so-called LEED Building  Yes Virginia those electric hand warmers are in evidence. Last week I showed you how they are contaminating the plastic recycle stream by combining recycle bins A bad idea akin to putting household edibles in your compost pile. It's not efficiency it's contamination  The latest from these environmental know-nothings is the plastic library card  It's past time for us to apply the brakes to this Tsunami of unnecessary plastic that includes distributing N'Focus magazine in the plastic wrapper.  What they have to say is just not that important. Music courtesy of Dr. Ming Wang -- playing the two-string Chinese Violin recorded live via iPhone at Bellevue Presbyterian Church, used with permission.

Last night 03 - 06 - at about 18:30 hours CST my main TV was interrupted with this message “Now you can link all your devices to your U-Verse service….”If A. T. & T. thought of it — it's probably a bad idea - from the viewpoint of the user that is.Friends don't fooled by the presumed generosity of this former communications giant. I can imagine what's in my future - billing for each connected device — “Stugart Passes”I had one hell-of-a-fight when I had cellular service with ATT — they kept billing me $25 monthly for Safari on my iPhone. I finally settled their hash by switching carriers. If it wasn't for Steve Jobs & the iPhone, ATT would be a footnote in the history of the twenty-first century. This is just one more ploy to increase their revenue stream at your expense. Piano music courtesy of Bellevue Presbyterian Church was used with permission.

The three talk candidly about how the church can and should be the leading voice in reconciliation. They unpack how the lack of transformative discipleship has affected the white church's witness.
