In this episode, I am speaking with Money Coach Hanna Bier who works with ambitious women from around the world to recreate their relationship with money from the inside out and step into a world of financial overflow. Hanna is known as the founder of Money Bliss and the author of her new book, Wealth From Within, Hanna has led tens of thousands of private and group sessions and has helped hundreds upon hundreds of clients join her in living blissfully and abundantly. Hanna shared her personal story, revealing that her relationship with money was initially fraught with anxiety and fear. Despite being a successful business owner for over a decade, she described feeling overwhelmed by the online space and the emotional whiplash it often brings. Her journey into understanding money began out of necessity during her studies in international fashion management, where she struggled with anxiety and depression. This led her to seek emotional healing tools, which ultimately transformed her relationship with money. We delved into the concept of family constellation therapy, a modality that Hanna uses to address the transgenerational patterns affecting our financial beliefs. She explained how her family's history, particularly the trauma experienced by her grandparents during World War II, influenced her fears about money. Through this therapy, she was able to release these inherited beliefs and embrace a healthier relationship with money, which she describes as nourishing and supportive. Throughout the episode, we discussed the challenges many people face when receiving love and abundance. Hanna shared her insights on how societal conditioning often leads us to feel unworthy of receiving, and she provided practical tips for overcoming this barrier. One key takeaway was the importance of using "receiving language"—a simple yet effective way to practice gratitude and acceptance in our daily lives. Most people get caught up in a traditional system that promises a steady paycheck but never leads to financial freedom. They chase the illusion of being "rich" without understanding the difference between that and real, lasting wealth. Many young people fall into this trap, only to realize years later that their money isn't working for them. They don't see that true wealth is built on a mindset shift—a willingness to pursue something bigger than just the income game. What is holding people back from making the decision to make their money work for them? What if you could take control of your financial destiny before you're locked into a system that's not designed to make you wealthy? IBC practitioner and real estate investor, Carson Herlean joins me to talk about why young people need to learn about true wealth before it's too late, how to grab every opportunity while we can and his journey to becoming his own bank. Being young, our brain is not going down a traditional path like everyone else. -Carson Herlean Things You'll Learn In This Episode -Going against the grain Overcoming doubt and negativity when going against the grain requires self-belief, persistence. How can you maintain confidence and push forward while pursuing unconventional paths? -Saving isn't sufficient Saving only 5-10% of income is insufficient in today's climate of rising inflation and economic uncertainty, as it doesn't provide enough cushion for future financial stability. What else can we do to secure a financially stable future? -Trading in time for a dollar Time is more valuable than money because once it's spent, it can never be regained. How do we prioritize our time over financial gain in our daily life? Guest Bio Carson started his journey into financial education at just 16 years old when his father gave him a firsthand look at the real costs of living. This eye-opening experience ignited a passion in Carson for understanding money management and achieving financial freedom. By 19, Carson had connected with Chris Naugle, a mentor in the infinite banking space. Carson quickly absorbed the principles of using life insurance as a powerful financial tool and began working alongside Chris to teach families how to manage and protect their wealth. Despite being young, Carson's dedication and ability to learn quickly earned him recognition in the insurance industry, even receiving top-level awards for his sales and service. Carson's success in teaching IBC led him to work with over 2,000 families across the country, guiding them on how to use life insurance in their family banking system. He's passionate about educating others, particularly young entrepreneurs, on the importance of financial independence and the strategies to achieve it. Through his social media brand and podcast, "Generational Gains," Carson shares his knowledge on money management, helping others navigate their financial journeys just as he has. Now based in Southern California with his wife, Anna, Carson continues to teach, inspire, and expand his expertise in the world of finance. She is an acclaimed international speaker and certified trainer with over 20 years of teaching experience, the author of the Little Book of Prosperity, and the creator of Prosperity Coin, the world's first cryptocurrency designed to support financial freedom for women entrepreneurs. Her unique magic is to support entrepreneurs to become financially free in 5 years or less with $10,000+ per month in passive income so they don't have to depend on their business, a job, a partner, the government, or anyone else for money.TAKEAWAYS:Shift your money mindset. People sometimes become too focused on the income side of their business thinking they just want to make more money or hit 6 figures in their business. More income is great, but you want to change your mind from supporting yourself to creating wealth and financial freedom. Create a vehicle for money growth. Instead of staying in the “make money world”, trade it for the “grow money world”. Make the money work for you instead of you working for the money. One way to do this is investments. We discuss a couple ways to do this in the podcast episode. Have the right money systems. It doesn't matter your income or profession, if you have the right money systems, you can set yourself up for financial freedom. One tip to do this, is to actively save your money. You can even set it up so that the money you want to save transfers automatically to some sort of savings account. The frustration of not seeing savings grow consistently can be a real struggle. Imagine the possibilities if our money could work harder for us, not just in the long run, but also with benefits we can tap into right now. This isn't just about setting money aside—it's about making our money work smarter and more effectively, whether it's planning for the future or needing liquidity today. Consider this: what if we could harness the magic of compound interest that builds wealth steadily over time, while still having the flexibility to access funds efficiently in the short term? In this episode, I am joined by the Director of The Money School, Shawna Decker and Money Mentor Stephen Nagy, to talk about the benefits of uninterrupted compound interest and how to cash-build for the long run. Infinite banking is not about the numbers and it's not about the math, it's about the concept.- Chris Naugle Three Things You'll Learn In This Episode -Don't get hung up on the numbers Infinite banking isn't just about money. How do we avoid getting absorbed in the numbers? -Debt or decisions How do we figure out what to put on credit and what we should pay for in cash? -Think about the 95% Why are we taught to focus on the 5% interest rate that we have to pay back? Walli's unique approach to personal finance has taken her from the Bronx to millionaire status, all while breaking generational cycles of money mismanagement. Together, we dissect the emotional ties to our wallets and provide listeners with straightforward tips for tracking finances, setting achievable goals, and bravely facing the financial fears that hold many of us back. Today's conversation goes beyond mere savings and budgeting to explore the heart of our relationship with money. Drawing on Walli's life experiences and my own path to financial independence, we share invaluable insights into the importance of recognizing 'wallet leaks' and making intentional choices about spending and saving. Plus, hear how a no-spend challenge revealed the traps of mindless consumption and how tools like Rocket Money can turn the tide in your favor. We also tackle the taboo of money talk, urging listeners to bring financial discussions into the light to truly understand how to make your income work for you.About Walli: Walli is a financial coach and money mentor who went from being an overspender and compulsive shopper to being debt-free and building a 7-figure investment portfolio. After spending her 20s spending every dollar she earned and saving very little she knew she had to start doing something different. After gaining control of her finances and creating a plan, she became work-optional before the age of 40! Walli is a first generation college graduate, Latina, and daughter of an immigrant.
