Pastor Bob kicks off a new series entitled "Living by the Spirit." We will discover the scriptural principles that allow us to walk in spiritual victory.
Culturally, we've been conditioned to believe that the pointof marriage is to make us happy. Now, no one has made me happier than my husband, but even more importantly (as in any of our relationships), marriage has been teaching me to love more like Christ. Sometimes, I watch myhusband's positive example, and at other times I have to give up what I want for what someone else needs. The wild thing I've noticed is the way God's upside-downkingdom shows up in my marriage. I'm not less happy when I am serving; in fact often, after one has taken the first step, the other matches in kind, and it provides an opportunity to like it says in Romans 10: “Out do one another in love and good works!” This week, Pastor Bob and I are going to talk about how not to just quit fighting in marriage, but how to move into a truly joyful relationship! These may be good episodes to listen to as a couple, or if this is something you want to work on alone, I'm going to put some extra study prompts below! On Sunday, Pastor Bob delivered a powerful message titled “Spiritual Warfare – The Invisible War: The Truth About Satan, Demons & Angels.” Drawing from Ephesians 6, he emphasized our daily spiritual battles and our need to be strong in the Lord, much like Joshua was called to be in the Old Testament. Pastor Bob unpacked the reality of spiritual warfare—reminding us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against unseen forces—and urged us to put on the full armor of God: truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and the Word. Each piece equips us to stand firm against the enemy and remain rooted in Christ's strength.

One Name at a Time TS Wright Pastor Bob Thibodeau engages in a profound discussion with Scott Wright, delving into the intricate genealogies found in Genesis chapter five, revealing them as a significant vehicle for understanding God's overarching plan for humanity. The episode emphasizes that these seemingly mundane lists of names are rich with meaning, serving as a divine blueprint that connects the inception of creation to the promise of salvation through Jesus Christ. Wright articulates how the narratives intertwined within these genealogies illustrate the continuity of God's redemptive story, highlighting the direct link between notable biblical figures and their roles in the unfolding of divine prophecy. Through detailed analysis, he uncovers how figures like Noah and Enoch not only reflect God's favor but also embody essential components of the gospel narrative. Ultimately, this episode invites listeners to reconsider the depth and intentionality of scripture, encouraging a more engaged and thoughtful exploration of biblical texts.Takeaways: The genealogies found in Genesis 5 serve as crucial connections to understanding God's prophetic timeline and redemptive plan for humanity. Pastor Bob emphasizes that the interconnectedness of biblical figures illustrates how oral traditions preserved accurate historical narratives through generations. Through the lens of Genesis 5, Scott Wright articulates the profound significance of each name, revealing a hidden message about salvation and the lineage leading to Christ. The discussion reveals that the longevity of figures in Genesis correlates with their proximity to God's presence, impacting their lifespans and the narrative's theological implications. Scott and Pastor Bob explore how the genealogy reflects not only historical connections but also the unity of humanity, dispelling notions of division and racism by tracing all people back to Noah. Ultimately, the episode underscores that God's intentionality in scripture manifests through genealogies, illustrating how even the simplest lists can convey profound truths about faith and salvation. This Sunday, Pastor Bob led us through Romans 16 with the message, "He Knows My Name," showing how even an often-overlooked chapter reveals God's heart for His people. Pastor Bob reminded us that each person matters deeply to God, just as Paul honored 29 individuals who supported his ministry. He highlighted the vital role women played in the early Church, encouraging us to celebrate the diverse gifts within our community. Most importantly, we were reminded that, like Tertius the scribe, we are fully known and valued by our Creator—not by what the world says, but by the One who calls us by name.

As The Days of Noah TS Wright Pastor Bob Thibodeau engages listeners in a profound exploration of the parallels between contemporary societal issues and the days of Noah, particularly highlighting the moral decay and spiritual rebellion mirrored in modern technology. He asserts that signs of this regression may not merely be coincidental but indicative of a prophetic unfolding. With guest Scott Wright, an insightful author and speaker, the conversation delves into the implications of advancements such as artificial intelligence and genetic engineering, suggesting that these may be mechanisms that distract humanity from divine guidance, akin to the Nephilim's influence in biblical times. They emphasize the urgency for believers to remain anchored in their faith and the Word of God amidst the rapid technological shifts that threaten to supplant spiritual truths. Ultimately, the episode serves as a clarion call for vigilance and preparation, urging listeners to discern the spiritual undercurrents shaping their lives and the world around them.Takeaways: Pastor Bob Thibodeau highlights that modern society mirrors the days of Noah, emphasizing moral decay and technological overreach that parallels biblical warnings. The discussion reveals that historical context is crucial for understanding the spiritual rebellion of current times, particularly how the Nephilim influenced civilization. Scott Wright articulates that advancements in AI and genetic engineering could signify a deviation from God's original design, leading to potential societal upheaval. Listeners are urged to remain spiritually vigilant and grounded in biblical teachings, as the encroaching technological influences seek to supplant divine guidance. The episode draws attention to the necessity for believers to discern the subtle deceptions that pull them away from their faith amidst rapid societal changes. Pastor Bob and Scott Wright conclude that the urgency of understanding prophetic scriptures is critical in navigating the complexities of the present day.
