Life in a fallen world can feel sour: full of pain, injustice, and brokenness. In Isaiah 24–25, the prophet paints a vivid picture of judgment and renewal: a vineyard gone wild, a world consumed by fire, and yet a promise that God will restore what was lost.In this message from From Ruin to Redemption, Pastor Bob Erbig shows how we can live as “sweet grapes” in a sour world—by resting in God's coming judgment, singing a song of faith amid chaos, and preparing for the feast on His holy mountain. Out of the ashes, God brings joy, justice, and redemption.October 19, 2025

Drawing from Acts 2, he reminds us that preaching is God's chosen means to awaken hearts and change lives, just as Peter's sermon led to the salvation of 3,000 souls. Five Unforgettable Days | The Gospel of John | Pastor Bob Marvel by Cornwall Church
As we continue in our series, “The Spirit Filled Church,” Pastor Bob explores "Trouble in the Church" from Acts 15, discussing how the early church navigated conflict and change through face-to-face conversations, listening, and focusing on the core message of the Gospel, ultimately fostering unity and joy amidst disagreements.
Jesus identified the greatest commandment as loving God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, followed by loving your neighbor as yourself. This isn't just about feelings but total devotion that transforms how we make decisions, spend our time, and use our resources. Our love for God is proven not by Sunday worship but by how well we love people throughout the week. Many of us live such hurried lives that we miss opportunities to see and serve those God places in our path. True neighboring means learning names, praying for people, and being available to help when needs arise. The key is slowing down enough to see interruptions as invitations from God to love others well.
In week two of our study of the Book of Acts, Pastor Bob shared a powerful message from Acts 2 titled The Jesus Revolution. He reflected on the transformative events of Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit ignited a movement that continues to shape our lives today. Pastor Bob reminded us that Pentecost fulfilled God's divine plan, marked the supernatural birth of the Church, and revealed God's mercy and grace through the outpouring of His Spirit, calling us to carry that same fire forward in the ongoing Jesus Revolution.
