The cost of leadership.
The joy of knowing Jesus is greater than the cost of following Jesus. The joy of saving you was greater than the cost of dying for you.
What do we treasure, what is the objective, what are the obstacles?

We often tend to overvalue what isn't truly valuable and, conversely, to undervalue those things which truly are valuable. In this episode, Pastor Chris Kipp teaches a message entitled "The Priceless Kingdom" from 2 of Jesus' parables found in Matthew 13:44-46. Chris teaches about the true value of the kingdom of God.

Sunday, March 13, 2022 – We’re studying the Parables of the Hidden Treasure & the Pearl. Both Parables speak about the Joy of discovery and attaining very precious and valuable treasures, one hidden and one purposely sought after. What makes these similar parables different is the viewpoints they are seen from. The Hidden Treasure is from a man's viewpoint that finds God, the Pearl is from God's viewpoint when Jesus finds us. Both joyfully give up everything to gain the prize. I pray that we can appreciate how much Jesus truly gave up to pay the price to purchase us on that Old Rugged Cross. If we can do that, then it will help us joyfully give up everything we have here on earth to find Him…

Jesus gives full disclosure when He calls all people to follow Him. He tells us that we will be blessed but He also tells us to “count the cost” and uses language like “dying to self”, and “carrying our cross” to describe the process of being His disciple. What exactly does all of this mean? And why would we want to answer a challenging call like this in the first place? On Sunday, we will explore what Jesus is calling us to and determine whether it’s a burden to be avoided, or a blessing to be pursued with all our heart and soul.

In this presentation of the Parable of the Pearl of Great Price and of the Parable of Hidden Treasure, Robin invites us to focus again on Jesus as the one that gives meaning to our lives while also being the model for how to live.
Today, Pastor Marc Sharp concludes a short series about generosity. Generosity is central to God’s loving nature (demonstrated by creation; proven by giving Christ to be the redeeming sacrifice for sin). The life of a genuine Christ follower mirrors God, being marked by generosity. Generosity is inherent to true belief.
