David wrote Psalm 145 as an acrostic poem to help the people of Israel remember the content easier. The main thrust of the psalm is that the Lord is great and worthy of great praise. The Lord is righteous in all His ways and magnificent in splendor, and yet He opens up His hand to care for every living thing - "kind in all his works". - The Lord is near…to all who call on Him in truth. - He fulfills the desire…of those who fear Him. - He hears their cry & saves them…those who fear Him. - The Lord preserves…all who love Him. God is just as good in His mercy and He is in His justice. "Who God is" motivates us to share Him with others.

Christmas is past and gifts are given and opened. A gift costs something. Hand-made seem to be more from the heart. God’s gift to us is the most humble, perfect gift ever. And boy, did it have an unimaginable cost. We hear the story told this time of year, but often we don’t count the cost. We have mangers, sheep, Mary & Joe, lowing cattle, shepherds, angels on high, a cool star, wise men worshipping and bringing gifts and of course a baby: Jesus. It needs to be remembered and celebrated. And we do. But there is more and it is dark and scary and foreshadows the crisis that Jesus will face and it is all part of the gift.

The hymn, "All Creatures of our God and King", is a paraphrase of "The Canticle of the Sun" written by St. Francis towards the end of his life. In it, St. Francis considers the otherness of God and the response of creation to Creator, which is one of praise and humility. St. Francis sees all of creation as a gift from the Creator and he points towards the great gift of embodied grace in the person of Christ Jesus.

Frank Ewart’s, who was one of the early pioneers of Pentecost, wrote a paper entitled a paper “Meat In Due Season.” It would be this paper that would cause such great men as Bishop G.T. Haywood and others to come to the revelation of the Mighty God in Christ and cause them to join the Oneness Pentecostal movement.

La importancia de la familia en la alabanza y la adoración congregacional. Dios merece y demanda la alabanza y la adoración congregacional y la alabanza y la adoración individual.
