Psalm 51:6 And in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom. So what is truth? In Christ, we have been given new hearts (Ezekiel 36:26-27) and are new creations (2 Corinthians 5:17). Col 2:6 – just as you received - continuing a lot so then just as you continued to receive. Until we see God as our Source -- we reduce Him to a little above a coach. I need to love more, and then we tack on “with God’s help.” Many people in the group asked for prayer to stop striving and to stop judging themselves and others.

Tot een paar maanden geleden, was hij nog onbekend, maar nu stijgt hij razendsnel in de ranken voor de Republikeinse nominatie: Vivek Ramaswamy! De steenrijke ondernemer viel op tijdens het debat tussen kandidaten voor de Republikeinse nominatie voor het presidentschap. Ramaswamy heeft nationaal bekende kandidaten als Pence en Haley ingehaald in de peilingen en komt zelfs in de buurt van de nummer 2, gouverneur DeSantis. Wie is Ramaswamy? Dat bespreken we hier. Ondertussen wordt er in de VS fel gedebatteerd over herstelbetalingen: Amerikanen die slachtoffer zijn van racisme en als gevolg van racisme bijvoorbeeld minder welvaart hebben opgebouwd, moeten daarvoor schadevergoeding krijgen. Op veel plekken in Amerika is het niet langer de vraag óf er schadevergoeding moet komen, maar meer hóe berekend moet worden aan wie en hoeveel er dan moet worden betaald. Wij gingen op pad met een familie in Californië die slachtoffer zijn van een racistische overheid en daarvoor compensatie willen.
