Mo'nique recently was on the Breakfast Club and went more into depth with her husband/manager Sidney Hicks to explain their stance on boycotting Netflix and to find out why exactly did Charlemagne Tha God aka Lenard, as Mo'nique called him by his government name, gave her his infamous title of "Donkey Of The Day."Netflix only offered Mo'nique 500K. We go into depth about the specifics of that deal and that is where the disagreements start between our two hosts and it was only the beginning... One feels the amount and terms were correct, while another feels that they were incorrect and grossly underpaid. Make sure you tune in and check out this fiery episode to see who you agree with and roast the other in the comments or hit the hosts up on social media!!!We also discuss what exactly makes some one be able to ask for a higher price in payment? Is it their pedigree? Is it what they've earned prior? Is it their name power? Or is a combination of all three but in what order? You tell us your thoughts! Our food for thought can give you ulcers but its okay because...GOD KNOWS MY HEART!Thomas Staples - @ThomasStaplesIs Twitter/IGFreddie B - @FreddieBTV Twitter/IG
Friday 2/23 Hey my loves, today on the show we had the one and only Mo'Nique stop by along with her husband Sidney Hicks via phone, and she stopped by for one reason only, and that was to confront Charlamagne about giving her "Donkey of the Day". In fact after the interview, we opened up the phone lines to see if our listeners thought Mo'Nique gave a valid reason of why she did not deserve the "Donkey of the Day".
