It’s been 25 years since R. Kelly first had to answer for sexual abuse allegations. Two and a half decades of new reports, new witnesses, new testimonies, new windows into an age-old story of powerful men seizing the chance to play God while trampling countless women — girls — into the dirt. And yet, as a devastating new docuseries lays out in damning detail, Kelly has nonetheless found a way to evade the charges and any real consequences almost every time. In six hour-long chapters, Lifetime’s “Surviving R. Kelly” is perhaps the most comprehensive dive into the terrible, tangled history of allegations against the singer yet. The first two episodes dig into his childhood, in which he both was recognized as a musical prodigy and sexually abused himself and his unstoppable rise to stardom, and his relationship to Aaliyah, whom he met when she was just 12 years old. The third and fourth episodes detail the circumstances of the so-called “pee tape,” which allegedly showed Kelly having sex with and urinating on a 14 year-old girl, and the subsequent child pornography case that ended in a surprise acquittal. The final two episodes highlight the reports from the last several years that Kelly has isolated and groomed women and girls into a sex cult for his own pleasure. In Part One of this special series on R. Kelly, Troy will begin discussing R. Kelly’s success and his rise to fame, his secrets-- the things that were hidden from his fans--, and his sadism-- the abuse and sexual practices he did with underage girls. If you haven't seen the six-hour docu-series, Surviving R. Kelly, Troy will do his best to recap the series and also share what God's Word has to say on these issues.

A portion of West’s TMZ interview that has not been highlighted much by the media was when he talked to Levin about his belief in God and the notion that love can conquer all. “Free love, it's the spirit," West explained to Levin when asked what is the root of everything the "Jesus Walk" emcee is trying to express. "If I say I love Dr. Jan Adams that performed my mother's final surgery, people don't accept forgiveness and love." West's mother died after having cosmetic surgery in 2007, which was performed by Adams. Levin admittedly said he doesn't believes people can love everyone. To which West looked at Levin and asked, "But does God want you to love everyone? Do you believe in God?" "If you start thinking about love and start feeling love and thinking about forgiveness, then you can overcome things," West said. "I think love conquers all. I know from the bottom of my soul, of my gut, of my spirit and my subconscious that love is the strongest force in the universe and right now we need love." In this episode we deal with the four kinds of Love mentioned in the Bible. Physical love, family love, friendship love, and Flawless love, you don't want to miss it.
On Tuesday afternoon Kanye will appear on TMZ Live with his new BFF, conservative pundit Candace Owens, but before that, he crashed their newsroom to hold his own impromptu town hall. Naturally, Kanye had many Kanye-isms to share, like just how much he loves Donald Trump (“that’s my boy!”), how wearing the MAGA hat was an act of free thought (“I felt a freedom in doing something that everybody tells you not to do”), and, for his grandest idea yet, why slavery was a choice. We’ll let him tell it: “When you hear about slavery for 400 years. For 400 years?! That sounds like a choice. You was there for 400 years and it’s all of y’all. It’s like we’re mentally in prison. I like the word ‘prison’ because ‘slavery’ goes too direct to the idea of blacks. Slavery is to blacks as the Holocaust is to Jews. Prison is something that unites as one race, blacks and whites, that we’re the human race.” Later, he addressed the newsroom and asked if they think he’s thinking freely. Van from TMZ, stands up and delivers the mic drop: “I actually don’t think you’re thinking anything.” A very passionate speech from Van, shouted across the room, ensues. The clip leaves us with Kanye apologetically walking over to his desk. With all the controversy surrounding Kanye West and his tweets and the things that he says, we will take a look at slavery in the Bible and the three reasons why individuals were made slaves in the Old Testament. 1 as prisoners of War 2 as payment for debt 3 as property for wicked people

Creflo Dollar has jumped to Snoop Dogg's defense in a recent sermon. Rev Dollar called for a shift of focus on grace instead of sin. The sermon critiqued judgmental Christians who have forgotten the thief on the cross and even the Apostle Paul who was once a persecutor. Rev. Dollar brought up many Scriptures to hammer home his point. So is he right? Are Christians throwing Snoop Dogg under the bus unjustly? What does the Word of God say about judging someone's salvation, when a new Christian can serve, and if it's judgmental to scrutinize someone's behavior and character. Have you heard Rev. Dollar's sermon? What did you think of it?

Beckah Shae, a Christian music artist, with a heart for the younger generation, and a songstress with her own original hits, also remakes popular secular songs that young folks are listening to... Shae has redone songs like Taylor Swift's Look What You Made Me Do and Ed Sheeran's Shape of You, with lyrics about the Lord, the truth of the Bible, the wicked works of our Adversary, etc. Most recently she has taken Havana by Camilla Cabello and turned it into Hosanna. Shae’s cover songs are going viral and she’s reaching new records for daily views on Youtube. But is her approach Biblical? Listeners chimed in on Facebook with answers to that question and their responses ranged from “Yes, as long as the lyrics are clean its harmless” to “No, what’s born of the flesh is flesh and what’s of the Spirit is Spirit” and everything in between. It’s generated quite debate. So in this episode Troy examines the Scriptures to see the Biblical view of music, its power, its purpose, and our partnerships in creating it.
