In this episode we talk about the album 'Lush' by 'Snail Mail'. Snail Mail is the musical brainchild of Lindsay Jordan. Born and raised in Baltimore, she's been releasing music under the 'Snail Mail' banner since 2015. Initially releasing EPs and cassettes, and more recently her debut full-length album, Lush, released through independent record label, Matador Records. Branded as “an indie rock prodigy” by Rolling Stone Magazine, she's gained a loyal fanbase, and performed hundreds of shows across the globe. I'm personally a big fan of her music and style, which is why I've chosen Lush as our topic of conversation today. Thank you for tuning in and we hope you enjoy the show. This is Lush, by Snail Mail - @carlnobody Other topics include: Kristen Stewarts acting career, the fragility of Stretch Armstrong, boring number facts from Charlie, and a dancing frontman from Baltimore. All that and more, on this episode of Between The Tracks.

What to make of the John Dorsey press conference and the future hiring of the Browns next head coach, who will almost assuredly not be Greg Williams. Why being an employee of Chevy right now really seems like it would suck, some coal rollers set up a blockade in front of a Tesla charging station because what else would a coal roller do for fun, and why isn't there a national manhunt for the "man driving a black Ford F-150 in Montana" who's going around shooting at people he thinks look like bigfoot? (Part 3 of the Podcast only content, begins at the 2:07:00 mark) 2018's best shows and films of the year, and a whole lot of overrated and bad shit, too. It's a whole thing and then some, and sure to be one of the only end of year lists that's actually fun to listen to. Oh, and Tom Waits is still the coolest person on the planet. Oh Matador Records, you of your indie darlings and slack ingenues and legends scrawled upon the walls of rancid LA apartments...Matador, you're at it again. Welcome to the Hype Machine. With the release of Snail Mail's Lush, we teeter headfirst into the prodigious mind of Lindsay Jordan, who writes dually about love as social triviality and distant curiosity. Jordan, who cut her musical teeth in part under the ambitious watch of Mary Timony (Ex Hex/Wild Flag), may seem like she recalls a thing or two from the nineties. But let's be honest, that's not entirely true either. Raw honesty in part helped hatch the fervor to follow, but honesty will only get you so far. If it feels "like the same party every weekend," do you really want to go anymore? Let's Explore Snail Mail - Lush A Few Minutes With [**Clap Your Hands Say Yeah** - The Skin Of My Yellow Country Teeth][2] A Current Affair [**Alex Lahey** - Love You Like A Brother][3]
