World Cup-winning France head coach Didier Deschamps has announced that he will step down from the French National Team after the 2026 World Cup ending what will be a 14-year run in charge. He lead the team to the 2018 World Cup Title and the 2022 World Cup Final after captaining France to the 1998 World Cup Title as a player. Zinedine Zidane is the heavy favorite to replace Deschamps. The Morning Footy crew react to the news that Inter Miami has indeed secured a spot in next year's Club World Cup. How did they get in? Should they even be there? Or is this just a play justified by FIFA in order to get Inter Miami, aka, Lionel Messi, into the now expanded tournament? MLS Cup Champion doesn't qualify for said tournament. Neither does the Leagues Cup Champion. The other suspicious factor here is the "host country" without any clear criteria was able to select a team of their choosing despite all 31 other teams having a clear path as to how to qualify.
