Pastor Barry explores the biblical virtue of patience as a fruit of the Spirit, emphasizing its active endurance through trials, its reflection of God's character, and its role in developing spiritual maturity and fostering peace in relationships. It challenges believers to yield to the Holy Spirit, viewing life's frustrations as opportunities to grow in patience and Christlikeness. Luke 8:11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. 12 The ones along the path are those who have heard; then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved. 13 And the ones on the rock are those who, when they hear the word, receive it with joy. But these have no root; they believe for a while, and in time of testing fall away. 14 And as for what fell among the thorns, they are those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by the cares and riches and pleasures of life, and their fruit does not mature. 15 As for that in the good soil, they are those who, hearing the word, hold it fast in an honest and good heart, and bear fruit with patience. Fruit of the Spirit: Patience, Kindness, Goodness by Pastor Lee Brown
Confronting the Goliaths of irritation and impatience, we delve into the battles that rage within when others fail to meet our lofty pedestals. We share tales of family gatherings that put our patience to the test, proving that even the quest for perfection can lead us astray from the peace we so desperately seek. We discuss the impact of false beliefs and our inclination to prioritize our time and rights above all else. Hear us out, as we unravel the knotty threads of frustration and discover how accepting imperfection can be the key to unlocking true tranquility.Wrapping ourselves in the virtues of patience and humility, we summon the power of the Holy Spirit to guide us through the marathon of life's challenges. From our own reflections, we extend a heartfelt blessing for divine endurance to replenish your spirit. The Father's Business Podcast is more than just a conversation—it's an invitation to witness the cultivation of patience within us and a celebration of the fruit borne from divine patience. So, tune in, and let's journey together through the ebbs and flows of patience that mark the road to spiritual maturity.

We have kept you waiting long enough! It is the episode you have been waiting for. That's right, you guessed it, this episode is on the fruit of patience.
We're continuing our Everyday Fruits of the Spirit series by digging into patience. We all know we need more of it, but if we're being honest, most of us don't really want it. And we get honest about why waiting is so hard! We bring up uncomfortable words like control, flexibility, and uncertainty and get real about how we make patience even harder than it has to be. We share a few ways you can start cultivating patience in your daily life and wrap it up with some painful but necessary truths to help us start to walk in patience and find peace in the wait.
Mylon & Christi Le Fevre in Austin, TX share that we are called to bear the fruit of patience.
