Tanmay Bakshi is a technology wunderkind. He started coding when he was only four years old and his first iOS app was released just five years later, when he was nine. An autodidact and deeply curious technologist, Tanmay works as an AI and application architect for IBM, where he's been involved with ongoing automation efforts with McDonald's. Tanmay joins Robb and Josh for an exploration of anthropomorphism, user experience, and the flexibility required to succeed with the shifting technologies associated with conversational AI. Don't miss a practical and enlightening discussion with this brilliant young mind. Outliers Special Ep 13: Tanmay Bakshi by FactorDaily
Programmers are problem solvers first, and code writers second, says Tanmay Bakshi in this interview. He shares how programmers should learn to code and develop machine learning apps.
I have spoken with Tanmay Bakshi. He is a 16 year old Canadian prodigy coder who had an app published to the app store at the age of 9. This is fascinating on its own, but on top of that he is a book author (of many books), a public speaker, a YouTuber and a Developer Advocate for IBM. Not a lot of people have done this much in his or her entire life, can you imagine having done this by the age of 16! I won't be preaching here that we become like Tanmay, as he is a true outlier, but despite his young age, he has a lot of experience and wisdom that we can all benefit from regardless of our age. Check it out. Have a listen! Full show notes and links: https://SoloCoder.com/26

If you thought you just figured out the Millennials, just wait for the next generation of future leaders. Gen Z-ers are now influencing the world. They are the ones that grew up digitally connected; they're accustomed to having data and content thrown at them all day and from all angles. As lifelong digital natives, they to have a special affinity for artificial intelligence, specifically because it mimics their natural tendency toward global mobile communication and engagement. In this episode, you will hear from two amazing Generation Z-er's, one of them who is a capital allocation analyst and the other who has made an impact in Artificial Intelligence, even before he is old enough to drive! You will hear insights from the world's youngest IBM Watson Programmer and his sister, who are setting the pace for Generation Z. You will also hear an amazing story of family support and encouragement which is inspiring and is a great example of the global economy will live in.

On Tuesday earlier this week, I got on a call with Bakshi to record this episode of Outliers, and I was blown away. He still sounded the same by the way, talking fast and pronouncing each word with great passion. This time though, he seems to have found a new life mission. Bakshi is now part of The Cognitive Story project, an open source initiative that applies cognitive technologies to help individuals unable to communicate express their emotions. It’s about using AI to give a voice to those who cannot communicate. Produced by Anand Murali Music Credit: www.accelerated-ideas.com/
