A fierce family drama erupts with Philip landing in the hospital with life-threatening injuries, and their mother, Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow), demanding justice. The Salem PD is now under pressure to charge Xander with attempted murder, despite his initial release on the NBC Peacock soap opera. DOOL sees Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), after treating Philip's injuries, confronts Xander, leading to a bitter showdown. Xander, devastated by Sarah's betrayal, leaves his family home and his daughter, Victoria. Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson), and Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) all become entangled in the crisis. Will Philip wake up and if he will accuse Xander of the attack? With Bo Brady's (Peter Reckell) life also hanging in the balance, the brothers may reconsider their feud. However, Kate is adamant about seeing Xander punished, even if it means risking Philip's freedom.
