After betrayal, it is easy to become trapped in an endless cycle of learning. You listen to more podcasts, read more books, study nervous system regulation, attachment, boundaries, narcissism, reconciliation, and divorce—hoping the next piece of information will finally make you feel clear. But there comes a point when gathering more information can become its own form of hypervigilance. In Part One of this two-part series, Lora Cheadle introduces the four phases of her Life Choreography® Method: Regulate, Reorient, Reconnect, and Rechoreograph. She guides you through each phase as though you were in a private session together, helping you identify where you are, where you may have skipped ahead, and what kind of support you actually need now. This episode also explores the difference between conscious insight and subconscious change, why the right tool used at the wrong time can feel like another failure, and how hypnosis can help update the old survival rules that continue operating beneath the surface. Top 3 Takeaways Learning more is not always the same as healing. Learning can be an important first step, but endless information gathering can keep you focused on the problem and safely outside your own transformation. At some point, the next step is no longer another book, podcast, or tool. It is allowing what you already know to change how you live. Betrayal recovery has an order. The four phases of the Life Choreography® Method are Regulate, Reorient, Reconnect, and Rechoreograph. You cannot force clarity while your nervous system is still in survival, reconnect with yourself before orienting to the truth, or rebuild a life that reflects who you are before knowing who you are now. Conscious understanding may not change a subconscious survival pattern. You can consciously know that you are safe, worthy, and capable of making decisions while your body continues reacting from fear, abandonment, or helplessness. Hypnosis helps update the subconscious beliefs, conditioned associations, and old survival rules that keep recreating the same emotional response. Favorite Quotes “Your conscious mind can know the truth, but your subconscious is still obeying old survival rules and patterns.” —Lora Cheadle About Lora Lora Cheadle, JD, CHt is a former attorney turned betrayal recovery coach, hypnotherapist, and author who helps women rebuild their identity and reclaim their power after infidelity and profound emotional betrayal. Are you a middle aged woman on the top of your career in a high-stakes environment? Maybe you are the one everyone depends on—meeting deadlines and managing teams with outward grace. But internally, the cost of "over-functioning" and now redesigning your role with AI in mind, has become unsustainable. If traditional productivity hacks like time-blocking and mindset reframes are making you feel worse, if rest makes you feel guilty, it's time to look beneath the surface. In this episode, Dr. Julie Merriman explains why midlife burnout is a nervous system injury, not a lack of discipline. We dive into how somatic therapies and grounding help professional women move away from the urgency of "pushing through" to build a foundation of genuine internal calm. You'll learn why chronic exhaustion physically blocks the cognitive flexibility needed for new digital tools and how to set boundaries based on your actual physiological capacity rather than just willpower. Join us for a conversation about reclaiming your energy and approaching your next career chapter from a state of regulation and radiance, instead of guilt and exhaustion. Topics covered: symptoms of burnout in professional women, somatic therapy for stress, high achieving women over 50 burnout, nervous system regulation, compassion fatigue in leadership, midlife career reinvention stress, productivity advice for exhausted women, cognitive flexibility and AI, how to stop over functioning at work, signs of nervous system overwhelm, somatic healing for executives, burnout recovery for women 50 plus, why is time blocking not working Watch this episode here: https://youtu.be/rzUR9FAdt6A Find Julie Merriman here: https://www.juliemerrimanphd.com/

Your Hope-Filled Perspective with Dr. Michelle Bengtson podcast
Episode Summary: Summer is supposed to be the season of sunshine, vacations, and smiling social media photos—but for many people, it’s when depression quietly deepens. If you’ve ever felt more anxious, lonely, or emotionally exhausted during the summer months, you are not imagining it—and you are not alone. In this episode of Your Hope-Filled Perspective, we’re talking about summertime sadness, why depression and mental health struggles can actually spike during summer, and what brain science, psychology, and Scripture reveal about this misunderstood phenomenon. Whether you’re battling low mood, disrupted sleep, increased comparison, or the pressure to “feel happy,” this conversation will help you understand what’s happening in your mind and body—and how God meets you with hope even in the brightest seasons. Today, we’re going to talk about Summertime Sadness: Why Depression Can Spike in Summer and How to Find Hope. Quotables from the episode: Summer often comes with an unspoken expectation: you should be happy right now. Longer days, family gatherings, beach trips, and backyard barbecues can amplify joy—or they can magnify grief, loneliness, exhaustion, and depression. If summer feels heavier instead of lighter, this episode is for you. I want to say this clearly from the start: Struggling in summer does not mean you are broken. It does not mean your faith is weak. And it does not mean you’re failing at gratitude. And when we don’t talk about it, shame fills the silence. And when sleep suffers, mood regulation suffers. That is not a moral failure. That is your nervous system responding to environmental changes. God addresses emotional suffering with compassion, not condemnation. Biblical faith does not deny pain—it brings pain into the presence of God. Now let’s talk about hope—not as a feeling, but as a practice. First, restore rhythm before chasing relief. Have you looked in the mirror lately and felt a disconnect with the woman looking back at you? If so, you are not alone. Many women — especially moms, leaders, and high achievers — quietly lose themselves along the way. In this episode of The Robyn Graham Show, identity coach and divorce attorney Christine Gale shares her powerful journey to reclaim your identity and own it without apology. When Success Looks Good but Something Feels Empty Christine Gale had what many would call an impressive life. What Identity Actually Means — And Why It Matters Christine is careful to define what she means by identity. Reclaim Your Identity: You Were Never the Problem One of the most powerful threads running through this conversation is the idea that identity is not something to be built from scratch. In this episode, Dr. Meyers explores two deeply human patterns that quietly shape our relationships: Conforming to others in order to gain approval, and trying to change the people around us in order to feel more secure. While both strategies can feel like attempts to create stability, they often lead to the opposite - disconnection from ourselves, resentment in relationships, and a loss of clarity about what we actually want.Through clinical reflection and personal insight, this episode examines what it means to take the reins back.
What if the person keeping you from healing isn't your ex, your parents, your circumstances, or your past—but the version of you that's still waiting for them to become someone they're never going to be?Most people think healing begins when the other person apologizes, changes, or finally understands the pain they caused. It doesn't.This conversation explores the courageous decision to release resentment, reclaim personal authority, and discover the freedom that only comes when you finally choose yourself. If you've been carrying resentment, fighting the past, or waiting for someone else to change before you can finally move forward, this episode offers a radically different path.Healing doesn't begin when they change. It begins when you let go.Key Takeaways:Choosing liberation over prolonged conflictWhy letting go is an act of self-love—not surrenderEmbodiment versus intellectual understandingThe connection between authenticity and effective coachingNervous system regulation and emotional safetyExpanding your window of safetyIdentity beyond trauma and external validationReturning to your authentic selfCreative expression as a path to healingWhy process matters more than outcomesPermission versus personal authorityAuthenticity in business and leadershipBuilding relationships from truth instead of fearWhy healing doesn't have to be complicatedJoy, purpose, and living from inner alignment
Season 6, Episode 769: replay in video version. MMF Threesome Her Body Worship and His Reclaim Erotic Scene, an erotic improv experience created for you by Ruan as she spun the story right off the top of her head as she recorded. Very little editing happened afterwards, this is basically raw right off the top of her head, spinning a tale, a sexy fantasy live as she recorded. This scene is about a married couple named Molly and Brad who want to expand their marriage to include a threesome, with their very willing friend Greg. It's very planned out and they enjoy enacting out their plans, which involve body worshipping Molly and bringing her to multiple orgasms before they enjoy theirs, then Brad reclaims Molly in a scene of domination and submission they both agreed to beforehand. Who said planning isn't fun? They've never done this! They had a blast and allowed for spontaneity in the sexual foray into multiple partner sex. Being sexually spoiled is pure bliss! They are devoted as ever as they know that they are committed to one another, and one another's pleasure. Mutual pleasure is mutual bliss! Enjoy the spicy romance! What if you don't need another podcast, another book, or another course?Learning is valuable. Awareness matters. But awareness alone doesn't create transformation. In this episode of Chaos to Connection, Diane explores threecommon approval-driven patterns that keep so many women feeling stuck. In this episode, you'll discover:*Why pleasing is often fear disguised as kindness and respect*How perfection becomes an attempt to earn approval by getting everything "right."*Why procrastination isn't laziness or a lack of discipline—but protection.*Why lasting change requires more than information—it requires transformation.*How choosing Truth over Approval creates the emotional freedom to build healthier, more connected relationships.Diane also introduces a new opportunity beginning this September for women who are ready to move beyond inherited patterns and intentionally create a New Relationship Blueprint. If you've ever found yourself saying:"I'll start when I'm more confident.""I don't want to let anyone down.""I just need to get it perfect."…this episode will help you understand what's really happening beneath those patterns—and why there is another way.Because reinvention doesn't begin by becoming someone new. It begins by letting go of the patterns that no longer serve the woman you're becoming.Ready for your next step? This September, Diane is opening a limited number of spaces for women who are ready to move from blame and survival into ownership, empowerment, and deeper connection through building a New Relationship Blueprint.Book a connection call here to gain more details - https://calendly.com/dianesorensen/clarity-callFree Resource mentioned in this episode: https://www.dianesorensen.net/drama-to-empowermentLet's Connect:Instagram: @dianesorensen.bbFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/diane.sorensen.589Join the conversation — share your takeaways or questionsfrom today's episode by sending me a message on Instagram or Facebook - your reflections matter.Working Together:Diane Sorensen Coaching is where boundary workbecomes the bridge from chaos to connection. You'll learn to transform your triggers, lead with compassion, and create emotionally safe, connected relationships built on authenticity, not approval.Reclaim your CALM, speak your TRUTH, and live FREE→ Submit an inquiry or learn more: www.dianesorensen.net/contact→ Explore free guides and resources to support your growth: www.dianesorensen.net/ → Join the weekly newsletter for insights, tools, and support delivered straight to your inbox: www.dianesorensen.net/email-listConnection Call: Experience the power of transformation.

-With Soochen Low Betrayal can leave you feeling as though you have lost control over everything—your relationship, your future, your finances, and even your ability to trust yourself. You may question your judgment, second-guess every decision, and become so afraid of making another mistake that you stop moving forward altogether. But sovereignty is not about always knowing the right answer. It is about reclaiming your authority over your own life. In this episode, Lora Cheadle is joined by creative power business alchemist and sovereign leadership catalyst Soochen Low for a conversation about rebuilding self-trust, listening to your heart, reclaiming your financial power, and creating a life that belongs to you. Soochen shares her experience of leaving a controlling and emotionally abusive marriage after ten years of feeling that she was never doing, earning, or contributing enough. Although she had built successful businesses and generated significant income, she had allowed someone else's story about her worth to become more powerful than her own. Together, Lora and Soochen explore what it means to trust your heart after it has been broken—and why listening to your intuition does not guarantee that life will always be easy or painless. Sometimes your inner wisdom warns you away from something. Other times, it leads you directly into an experience that becomes part of your growth, awakening, and evolution. They also discuss the financial fear that often accompanies betrayal and why earning, receiving, and building wealth are not selfish. Money can become an expression of agency, creativity, generosity, and freedom. Reclaiming your financial power is not merely about making more money. It is about recognizing that you are capable of supporting yourself, directing your life, and making choices based on what is right for you. This conversation is an invitation to stop waiting until you feel completely certain, stop demanding perfection from yourself, and begin moving forward one choice at a time. Because becoming sovereign does not mean you will never make another mistake. It means the choices—and the life—are finally yours. Top 3 Takeaways Your heart may not have betrayed you. After betrayal, it is common to believe that your intuition failed because you trusted someone who later hurt you. But you may have heard your inner wisdom and not yet understood it, or your path may have contained lessons and growth that you could not have anticipated. Rebuilding self-trust begins with curiosity and compassion rather than blaming yourself for what you did not know. Financial sovereignty is part of recovering yourself. Betrayal can create intense fears about money, security, and survival. Reclaiming your financial power means recognizing your ability to create, earn, receive, and make decisions for yourself. Money does not have to be associated with greed, selfishness, or proving your worth. It can support freedom, generosity, service, and choice. Sovereignty is not perfection—it is agency. You do not have to know exactly how everything will turn out before you move. You are allowed to choose, make mistakes, change your mind, and choose again. Your power is not found in getting every decision right. It is found in knowing that you can respond, adjust, and continue creating a life that reflects who you are now. Favorite Quotes “I thought I was going to crash and burn. But I didn't. Her work helps women move beyond people-pleasing, proving, and self-sacrifice so they can reclaim their creative power and lead their businesses, income, lives, and destinies with greater sovereignty. She is also the author of the forthcoming book From Servant Girl to Sovereign Queen, which explores rewriting the stories that keep women small, transforming their businesses, and leading from the wisdom of the heart. Dr. Phil continues his coverage of the government's UAP disclosures by speaking with former U.S Navy Lieutenant and F-18 pilot, Ryan Graves, who has over a decade of service, including two deployments in Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Inherent Resolve. While flying with the NAVY, Ryan witnessed firsthand advanced UAPs and is considered the first active-duty pilot to come forward publicly about regular UAP sightings. Dr. Phil will speak with Ryan about the UAPs he's seen as a pilot, the flight maneuvers they are performing that are not of this world, and the fear that is keeping many military and commercial pilots from reporting what they are witnessing in our skies. Your Hope-Filled Perspective with Dr. Michelle Bengtson podcast
Episode Summary: Have you ever sat down to pray and felt like your words were hitting the ceiling? Opened your Bible and felt nothing stir in your heart? Or gone through your day knowing all the “right” spiritual things to do, yet feeling strangely distant from God? If so, let me say this clearly right from the start: you are not alone, and you are not failing God. Spiritual dryness is far more common than we talk about, especially among believers who genuinely love the Lord and want to walk closely with Him. And yet, when it happens, many of us quietly wonder, What’s wrong with me? Why do I feel so disconnected? On this episode of Your Hope Filled Perspective, Rev. Jessica Van Roekel and I are having an honest, hope-filled conversation about what to do when you feel spiritually dry or distant from God, and how to walk through those seasons without shame, panic, or self-condemnation. Quotables from the episode: Let’s begin by naming something that often goes unspoken: spiritual dryness does not mean spiritual failure. Here’s something critical to understand: feelings are not the same as faith. God’s presence does not fluctuate based on our emotional experience. And that fear doesn’t come from theology. It comes from wiring. The human brain is designed to associate meaning with emotional feedback. When something once produced warmth, peace, or reassurance and suddenly doesn’t, the brain interprets that as loss, even if nothing has actually been taken away. This is why spiritual dryness doesn’t just feel neutral — it feels alarming. But here’s an important distinction: absence of emotional response is not absence of relationship. So, what you’re saying is that the dryness isn’t necessarily a spiritual message — it’s a nervous system signal. Often, yes. And when we misinterpret that signal spiritually, we add shame to exhaustion. This is where people start striving — more prayer, more discipline, more intensity — which ironically deepens the sense of distance. Because forced intimacy rarely restores connection. Sometimes God feels silent not because He’s absent, but because He’s inviting us into a deeper, quieter trust. There comes a point when faith matures beyond sensation. This doesn’t mean feelings are bad. It means feelings are no longer the foundation. Some of the deepest spiritual maturity is formed in seasons where God feels quiet. I challenge you instead of wishing away this dry season, to look at it as a gift. There comes a point when faith matures beyond sensation. This doesn’t mean feelings are bad. It means feelings are no longer the foundation. If God feels distant right now, resist the urge to diagnose yourself. Instead, consider this: What if this season isn’t about fixing your faith, but strengthening its foundation? Faith that endures silence is not weaker faith. It’s anchored faith! Kelly and I talk about how her work with pregnant and perimenopausal women eventually led her into sexology, and why so many of her clients could get through hot flashes and brain fog, but not the disappearance of their sex drive. What I love about this conversation is how honest it gets. We talk about why menopause isn't the end of my sex life, just the end of the sex life I used to have. We talk about why the media and celebrities like Madonna stay completely silent about what's actually happening in their intimate lives after 50. And we land on one of Kelly's most freeing insights: that at this stage, most of us have shifted from spontaneous desire to responsive desire, and that's not a loss; it's just a different starting point.Whether I'm partnered, dating or figuring things out on my own, this episode is full of practical ideas I can actually use. Including one of my own tricks: making a partner tell me a story before I send a single photo.Listen, learn and enjoy.Key Takeaways- Chocolate formulated with the right herbs can genuinely support mood, desire and connection.- Menopause changes my sex life, but it doesn't end it. It's a chance to redesign it on my own terms.- Body disconnection at this stage often shows up as confidence dips, not just physical symptoms.- There's no single pill for low libido. Removing pressure and building body awareness comes first.- Celebrities and the media rarely tell the truth about sex after 50, which leaves most of us with no real role models.- Desire shifts from spontaneous to responsive with age, and that requires more ritual, not less spontaneity.- Scheduling sex and building anticipation can make intimacy more exciting, not more routine.- Storytelling, texting and drawing things out can reignite desire more than a straightforward photo or invitation ever could.About the GuestDr Kelly Barron is a chiropractor, certified menopause specialist, strength and conditioning specialist, and certified sexologist based in Charleston, South Carolina. After thousands of years of biblical wisdom available to us, humans are still stressing over whether there is any peace to be found in the daily struggle to survive and thrive. We overfill our lives with more than we can handle, stew over unfinished to-do lists, and quietly convince ourselves that choosing to rest is somehow irresponsible — maybe even brazen. And so the exhaustion compounds, and restoration stays just out of reach. But God's ultimate plan is restoration. And you cannot even spell that word without rest. Genesis 2 tells us that after the immeasurable work of creating everything, God Himself chose to rest on the seventh day and made that day holy. He did not have to. He is infinitely capable. But at the very beginning of His love letter to us, He modeled something essential: rest is not a reward for finishing everything. It is a sacred rhythm built into the design of life itself. Psalm 4:8 was written on an index card beside a bed during one of the hardest seasons imaginable — between jobs, in a temporary apartment, caring for a child through painful change — and whispered aloud in the dark as a declaration of trust: in peace I will lie down and sleep, for You alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety. That verse is an invitation to unclench our grip on every fear and worry and let God watch over what we were never designed to carry through the night. Today's Bible Verse "In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, LORD, make me dwell in safety."— Psalm 4:8, NIV Ponder Today Rest is not a reward for finishing everything — it is a God-designed necessity. God blessed the seventh day and made it holy precisely because He rested on it. Rest is not laziness or irresponsibility. It is obedience to the rhythm God built into creation. You cannot spell restoration without rest. God's ultimate plan for you is restoration — of body, mind, heart, and soul. Refusing to rest is not faithfulness. It is standing in the way of what God is trying to do in you. Reclaiming rest requires shifting from striving to trusting. First Peter 5:7 invites you to cast your cares on God. Philippians 4:6-7 promises that when you present your requests to Him, He will guard your heart and mind. Rest is an act of faith, not an act of indulgence. Psalm 4:8 is a declaration you can whisper in the dark. When fear and worry make sleep feel impossible, speaking this verse aloud is not a passive act. It is a deliberate choice to place yourself under God's watchful care and release what you were never designed to hold through the night. You are loved not for your works or achievements, but because you are God's beloved child. Rest is the place where that truth settles most deeply. In stillness, without anything to prove or produce, you are simply held by the One who made you. A Prayer for You Today Dear God, help me remember that rest is an intentional gift from You. Remind me that I am not proving myself to You — rather, I am celebrating Your goodness. Show me how to ease the pressure I put on myself and make room for the restoration my heart, mind, soul, and body need. Inspire me with ideas for relaxing that let me enjoy unstructured time, naps, and sleep without guilt. I know You desire what is best for me. Help me not to stand in the way of the sweet refreshment You provide. Show me how to reclaim rest. In Jesus' name, Amen. Don't Miss an Episode If today's prayer gave you permission to finally put something down and rest, we'd love to stay connected. Judi Holler will happily tell you she is one of the biggest fraidy cats you will ever meet. She is afraid of all the things. She is also a keynote speaker, USA TODAY bestselling author of Fear Is My Homeboy and a self-described professional experimenter who has spent nearly twenty years treating fear as her most important advisor. That contradiction is precisely the point of this conversation, because as Judi sees it, the goal was never fearless. The goal is brave. Her courage was built in unlikely places. Working in corporate America by day, Judi spent her nights in the dark, dingy little theatres of Chicago’s improv scene, eventually training at the legendary Second City. She calls improv her fear yoga. With no script and no safety net, those basement stages taught her how to make mistakes, recover, listen and act before she felt ready. Then she started smuggling those lessons into the office: speaking up first in meetings, sitting in the front row, going for the promotion, asking for the raise. Small brave moves that walked new people and opportunities into her life, until the morning her boss sat her down over breakfast and told her to choose between her corporate career and her growing speaking work. She set down her fork and knife, looked at him and said, I don’t choose you. I’m going to choose me on this one. I quit. A decade later, she has never looked back. Fearless is for five-year-olds and sociopaths Judi takes issue with the word fearless, plastered as it is across t-shirts, bumper stickers and tattoos. If you were truly fearless, she points out, you would never see a doctor, you would eat poisonous food on purpose, you would punch a shark in the face. Borrowing a line from Elizabeth Gilbert, she reminds us that the only genuinely fearless people are five-year-olds and sociopaths. Fear is wisdom. The work is not to eliminate it but to fear your fear less, and bravery, like confidence and creativity, is a muscle built through daily experimentation. Your brain versus your soul At the heart of Judi’s methodology sits a tension we all live with: our brains are louder, faster and more practised than our souls. The brain has one job, safety, and it can only reference past data, endlessly auditing your life and pulling you back towards the familiar. But life does not follow old data. Life is improv. There is no script. The soul is your capacity to trust yourself and make decisions inside uncertainty, and Judi is quick to note this is no longer woo. She points to the World Economic Forum’s Future of Work research, where skills like resilience, creative thinking, motivation and self-awareness now top the list of what the world needs, and every one of them lives in the soul. Reclaim, don’t reinvent When Judi felt creatively caged five years ago, she resisted the urge to tear it all down. Reinvention, she says, whispers that what you have built is not good enough. Reclamation says the opposite: I love what you have made here, and I want to see more. Through a confrontational journey of self-discovery, she realised nothing was ever wrong with her. She had simply been painting the canvas of her life with everybody else’s brush. Out of that season came the HOLLER Method, a personal operating system for courage built letter by letter from her own surname, along with nightly rituals like her 9.30pm glitch list, where she captures the ideas her brain would rather she forgot. Judi leaves the audience with three golden nuggets: Trust it all. Every twist, delay and detour is preparing you for what comes next. Experiment with your fear. Every day. On purpose. Small brave moves compound into a courageous life. Honour the graveyard rule. As Les Brown says, the graveyard is the richest place on earth, full of dreams that were never acted on. Do not let yours be buried there. It is a funny, honest and deeply practical conversation about courage, self-trust and the experiments that bring us back to ourselves. Whatever you have been waiting to do, take the first step. Go scared. Watch the full conversation on YouTube. What if you could bend time — not to do more, but to feel more fulfilled? Janet Taylor, your Life Organizer, sits down with Michelle Niemeyer, certified health coach, former litigation attorney, and creator of the Art of Bending Time system. After 20-plus years in law, a divorce, an autoimmune diagnosis, and a deep sense of exhaustion, Michelle made a bold pivot — and the results were life-changing. She lost the weight, regained her joy and focus in practicing law, and discovered the powerful system she now teaches others. In this conversation you will learn: -What the Art of Bending Time actually is — and why adding more hours to your day is not the solution. -The sparks that light you up — why identifying your small daily joys is the fuel that powers everything else. -The Time Suck Ninja — how to identify and cut the internal and external time wasters that are quietly stealing hours from your day. -Why multitasking does not exist — and the neuroscience behind why bouncing between tasks depletes your focus and doubles your work time. -How turning off notifications could save you up to two hours a day. -The sword analysis tool Michelle uses with clients, families, and teams to create shared goals and genuine buy-in. -Why some goals we have been chasing are not even our own — and how letting them go is one of the most powerful forms of decluttering. Organizing with Janet: A client's bedroom had slowly turned into an office — complete with a printer under the bed. After a major purge and reorganizing the space, she saw her bedroom as a restful and calming sanctuary again. Sometimes the best organizing win is not about tidying. It is about transforming how you feel about your space. Taylor's Tip Time: If your space feels chaotic, your energy will too. Start by clearing one zone — your desk or bedside table — and ask yourself: does this support the version of me I want to become? Small spaces lead to big mental shifts.
