Luke Southworth has one old PTQ win, a handful of Grand Prix cashes and just made Top 8 of Grand Prix Birmingham 2018. Luke is from Preston, England. Worst Magic Moment Luke lost in the final of a WMCQ. That was really hard near-miss. Luke learned to 'expect the unexpected' as much as possible. Proudest Magic Moment Qualifying for the Pro Tour for the first time. It was very validating as a player to finally have the pay off for all his hard work. What Have You Learned From Magic Luke honed his critical thinking skills through Magic. Also, socializing with new people. Biggest Mistake Players Make Getting too emotionally invested in the game. You can't tie your self-worth to your Magic results. Magic is high variance and you need to be okay with that. Grand Prix Preparation Luke took a deck he found on a stream to his standard GP.
