Well everyone, all things must come to an end. This is our last episode under THIS name. But don't fear! We're back!! This is Tyler and I want to give a personal thank you to everyone who has stuck with us and kept listening. Tyler and Romeo are back and talking the weird, wonderful and batsh*t crazy action film created by the brains behind Saw: "Upgrade"! Visceral, gruesome and all killer, no filler. Once our introductions have begun we do start the podcast off on a somber note as we pay our respects to Chadwick Boseman after the tragic news of his passing this past week. As the last days of Summer come to an end we review and finish off the Blade trilogy with the absolute wet blanket bummer of a movie: Blade Trinity. As Tyler and Romeo had an absolute blast reviewing the first two it saddens us to talk about just how bad it is, but we do it for you the people! Hope does exist however! The hype levels are through the roof as the trailers for "the Batman" and "The Suicide Squad" from DC Fandome remind us that the sizzle never ends! "She Dies Tomorrow" is the type of movie that theoretically is right in Tyler's wheelhouse. The trailer was so solid even Romeo was on board! But trailers lie sometimes, or in this case simply overdramtize the mundane. Tyler and Romeo dig as deep as possible to try and unpack just exactly why they felt let down by this movie they were excited to see. Come along for the fun! The Summer of Sizzle rolls on with the God of Thunder himself in Thor: Ragnarok! Released in 2017 and giving the Thor franchise a well needed facelift this comic book film somehow balacnces heady themes of colonialism along with knockout one-liners. Themes and jokes are great, but do they equal a good film? Tyler and Andy definitely have some thoughts on just how high this film flys. Is it our highest rated superhero flick yet? Starring Jennifer Lopez and Constance Wu along with a plethora of high profile celebrities. This pod has as many twists and turns as Ramona and Destiny's adventure for the modified "American Dream". They talk the inevitable comparisons to the testosterone laden counterpart in "Wolf of Wall Street", the burst of nostalgia driven by the soundtrack and their is even some personal fun stories shared!
