A condiment that's hard to categorize is usually the one worth chasing, and the Sizzle Sauce fits that bill. We talk with creator and owner Zack Mazur about a Pittsburgh-made sauce that starts with sweet barbecue vibes, shifts into a savory comfort-food depth, and then tags you with heat at the very end. Zack walks us through the real behind-the-scenes journey of building a small food business: the first batch made at home for his daughter's chicken nuggets and fries, the rounds of tinkering, to the encouraging push of family and friends to do more. We round things out with two food wins: Sarah of Sarah Loves Yinz recommends Kitchen on Main in Ligonier for a treat-yourself brunch, and Sarah Kaminski of Best Ever Granola drops a weeknight “empty the fridge” taco hack that feeds a family without a strict recipe. If you like discovering local Pittsburgh food brands, small business stories, and practical meal ideas, hit subscribe, share this with a sauce-loving friend, and leave a quick review so more people can find the show.Support the showLiked the episode? In today's show, Sandy shares some fun insights about onomatopoeia, which can be a writer's best friend when you want to avoid using the same dull words repeatedly—especially in action scenes. Onomatopoeia is when a word is formed to imitate a sound, like “Boom!”, “Pow!”, or “Splat!”. If you're a screenwriter, it's a handy trick to keep in your toolkit, especially when crafting exciting action moments. Using onomatopoeia can really bring your writing to life and make it more engaging for your readers, actors, or development executives reading your screenplay.Executive Producer Kristin OvernCreator/Executive Producer Sandy AdomaitisProducer Terry SampsonMusic by Ethan Stoller

In this episode of Lennox ON AIR, Doug and Dave are joined by talent acquisition expert Jed Gifford to break down what it really means to treat your career like a business—not just in theory, but in daily habits, communication, and attitude. From navigating tough conversations with leadership to understanding your value long before you apply for a new role, Jed lays out clear, practical guidance that applies whether you're an installer in a basement, a service tech on the road, or a leader preparing the next generation. We also explore common fears and misconceptions that hold people back, like networking anxiety, worrying about being “too honest” in interviews, or feeling stuck in a role you've outgrown. Jed makes it simple: build your brand, practice your craft, strengthen your digital footprint, and show up every day with enthusiasm and intention. Whether you're looking to advance, pivot, or simply gain clarity on where you're headed, this conversation delivers the roadmap—and the motivation—to take your next step with confidence.Nominate Lennox ON AIR for the ACHR NEWS Industry Podcaster Award!Lennox ON AIR is a Lennox Learning Solutions Production.
Liam asks the question: If you were abducted by aliens, would you prefer to be put in their circus, or their zoo? The team is divided, with Leisel and Spida opting for the circus act. Liam and George would prefer a cushy zoo life. Spida got gifted some new (ugly) offroad Crocs from Sheree and wants to know what the protocol is on wearing them. Liam is an advocate but Leisel is staunchly opposed. Liam speaks from experience about some of the gifts he has received from his wife, but Leisel takes the cake for the most awkward one: an engagement ring! The dating app game has changed with the infiltration of AI profiles and conversations, with friends having run into the bots – as if the apps weren’t confusing enough already! Episode #210 of the PricePlow Podcast lands live from the expo floor of the Arnold Sports Festival 2026 in Columbus, Ohio, with three back-to-back conversations that cover 40-plus years of supplement history, a landmark creatine collab, and a glimpse at where the whole category is headed next. Spencer and Ben sit down first with Evan Centopani, a 20-year Animal athlete and competitive bodybuilder who now runs a financial planning practice in New Jersey. Next up is Easton Drake, just 90 days into his role as Animal’s Athlete Manager after stints at Bodybuilding.com (BBCOM) and Applied Nutrition. The third conversation brings back Jason Budsock, an OG in Animal’s brand and marketing history who has been on the podcast before. The through-line across all three: the Smarties creatine chew collaboration (Animal’s first-ever licensed flavor collab and the first of its kind in a chewable creatine tablet), the newly signed athlete Billy Love, and how creatine is pulling in audiences far beyond the meathead demographic — including women, the elderly, and yes, even kids. Zappi CMO Nataly Kelly joins to talk about the Sizzle, Systems & Sales Impact of The Super Bowl. The Super Bowl is advertising's biggest stage. $8 million for 30 seconds. Cultural noise at maximum volume. Celebrities everywhere. Music in almost every ad.But once the spectacle fades, one question remains: which ads actually drove impact? In this episode, we unpack the Zappi Super Bowl 2026 report (check it out here) built from testing every ad live with 20,000 American category buyers and benchmarking them against the top 100 performing TV ads in the US.We explore:– Why emotional response alone isn't enough – The role of purchase likelihood in predicting sales impact – How celebrities can amplify an ad — or bury the brand – Why distinctive brand assets (Budweiser's Clydesdales, Nerds' characters) still matter – The Pepsi polar bear debate and what it says about brand memory – How health brands like Wegovy, Hims & Hers and Ro cut through – Why the best Super Bowl ads are part of a system, not a one-night stuntThis conversation goes beyond ranking ads. A few weeks ago, I came across a post on X from a user named Yoni Smolyar. It said posting a video on Instagram every day for 508 days in a row taught me that I never want to do that again. I realized that I had seen and followed Yoni on Instagram, where he has over 190,000 followers. In the process, Yoni built an iPhone app called Brainrot, which had a $10,000 launch that he credits to his social media presence that he built during this daily Instagram posting challenge. In this conversation, you'll hear Yoni's approach to Instagram, what worked for him, why he ultimately says he wouldn't do it again, and why he believes his ex-audience of 20,000 may be more valuable. The Kansas City Star headline boasts "Nation Hit by Blue Wave." What a joke. These were the most lame elections ever and anyone trying to make anything of these is like a sports fan declaring the Chiefs are bad because they lost a preseason game. What a sham. You won't believe the composition of the electorate in NY City. If there is one alarming thing from Tuesday... this is it. Kansas AG Kris Kobach has charged the mayor of Coldwater, Kansas for committing election fraud. CBS ratings sizzle for the Chiefs/Bills and 60 Minutes with Donald Trump. The sky isn't falling, Vegas still loves the Chiefs. And then we have a great conversation with a young sports radio host that is moving more and more toward politics. His name is Paul Gallant and he was wrongly called a whacky liberal by Tucker Carlson. Paul is the host of the "Gallant Says" podcast on You Tube and all other pod platforms, and while he hasn't jumped into the deep end of conservative talk just yet, maybe we can provide him with an outlet right here at KKHI.

Actor, foodie, and son of THE Sofía Vergara… Manolo Vergara joins Tish and Brandi with the PERFECT stoner food from his fast-growing empanada brand, TOMA. He shares how cooking for his mom turned into a booming business, the creative chaos behind new flavors (everything bagel empanadas, anyone?), and what it's really like working side-by-side with family. In classic Sorry We're Cyrus fashion, the convo spirals into dog psychics, caviar-loving pups, emotional support meals, and the family group chat drama you didn't know you needed. Plus: kitchen tips (turns out steak is way easier than you think) and celeb crush confessions that will make you laugh out loud.
