This episode was inspired by the recent events regarding police brutality in America. Throughout this episode I share a significant amount of history, where much of which was researched on google. I'm sure there's a bit I missed & I'm not perfect, but I am a lifelong learner like many of you. In fact, following all of my audio edits, I realized Rosa Parks name accidentally removed in the pivotal moment where she didn't give up her seat on a bus in 1955. During this time my heart has been heavy, my mind has been reflective, & I have a lot to say. As citizens, we must do our part to dismantle systemic racism because black lives matter & always will.
