On the episode of Blk Girl Speaks, we talk with our guest, author and public speaker, Jasmine Orstead about her college experience. She entered The University of Mary Washinton looking for the chance to continue her education and join the schools basketball team. She was immediately met with hostility. She endured racism, discrimination, and inequality from her teammates, as well as coaches, and staff. She decided to fight so that the next Black woman wouldn't have to.
