Don't let doubt talk you out of what faith talked you into. A true Christ follower has no reason to fear or be intimidated. God has a strategy for your success. As we see in the book of Joshua, He told him repeatedly to "be strong and courageous!"
What if you said "Yes, Lord" and stepped out of your comfort zone, though imperfectly, and believed that God would lead you into something bigger and better? Pastor Randy challenges our faith by sharing from the life of Abraham and how he followed God without knowing where He was taking his family. Going without knowing is the catalyst for growing.
Pastor Randy teaches on what faith is and why we should let our expectation rise. A church family that is confident in its faith causes everyone to rise to the great future God has planned for us.
In a culture that celebrates image, independence and achievement, God honors a different kind of strength; a woman who fears the Lord and lives with wisdom, grace and grit.
What does the Bible have to say about money? Find out how to steward it with wisdom and peace as Pastor Ryan answers the question "does God want me to be rich or poor?"
This week in Trending Truth, Pastor Ryan answers the big question: Can faith really help with anxiety in a world full of pressure, panic, and uncertainty?
Pastor Ryan shares a recap of 2024 and invites us into an exciting new season for our church—a 90-day journey of worshiping, sticking, and serving together. As we begin this new year, we're dedicating ourselves to deepening our love for God, His Church, and one another, all for His glory.
What gifts has God given you to give away? God loved the universe so much, He gave us His very best gift: Jesus. Pastor Ryan and Tim DeTellis have a conversation around generosity and how we can share the gift of Jesus this Christmas season.
This lesson explores the unchanging and gracious character of God through His promise to David, even in the face of David's significant failures. God's unconditional promise of an eternal kingdom through David's lineage is fulfilled in Jesus Christ, demonstrating His faithfulness and grace. Just as God kept His promise to David, He keeps His promises to us, not based on our performance but on His unending love.
The Christmas story reveals that God gave humanity the greatest gift—Jesus Christ. Through the example of the wise men, we learn that receiving God's gift leads to giving in meaningful ways. The wise men demonstrate three key lessons: humility in bowing before Jesus, worshiping Him before their breakthroughs, and generously giving without strings attached. As we reflect on these truths, we are invited to receive God's gift fully, believe in His promises, and respond by living lives of humility, worship, and generosity. Our ability to give reflects the depth of what we've received.
The Christmas story begins with a genealogy that highlights both heroes and broken people, showing that Jesus came not only for sinners but also from sinners. In this, we see God's heart to draw near to those far from Him, offering grace and inclusion to the undeserving. The story of Christmas is the story of God drawing near to those who had been drawn away.
In the Beatitudes, Jesus says, “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God” (Matthew 5:8). While sin corrupts our vision of God, purity restores it. Jesus offers a way to daily defeat sin, look forward, walk in purpose, and serve others, leading to a life of freedom and clarity. Through His death and resurrection, we are invited to experience a pure heart and see God's presence more fully in our lives.
In challenging moments, praise is a powerful choice that shifts our focus from our circumstances to God's goodness. Just as Paul and Silas praised God in prison and experienced freedom, we are called to put on the "garment of praise" as an intentional act. Praise is external, a declaration of what God has done, and it reminds us of the eternal hope we have in Him.
Leaving a legacy is the lasting impact of your life. In this week's message, Pastor Ryan talks about our Legacy initiatives and how you can partner with God to leave a lasting impact on your family and the local church.
Do you desire to live so brightly that others are drawn to you? Pastor Ryan shared practical applications from 1 Thessalonians on living the BRIGHT and bold life that Paul discusses in the Bible.
In Acts 26, we find Paul on trial before King Agrippa, boldly sharing his testimony and the gospel message. Instead of defending himself or pleading for freedom, Paul turns the conversation toward Agrippa's own belief in God and the prophets. Paul's deep desire is that everyone who hears him, including Agrippa, would come to faith in Jesus Christ. Through this story, we learn the importance of being bold in sharing our faith, praying for opportunities to witness, and caring enough to tell others the truth about Jesus, no matter the circumstances.
This week, we explored how God's grace is not only sufficient but perfects us in our weakness. We learned that God's plan requires us to trust His grace rather than our strength, and that there are practical ways to unlock His grace in our daily lives. By embracing submission, expectation, small beginnings, and perseverance, we align ourselves with God's purpose and experience His power working through us.
In the midst of a rapidly changing and increasingly hostile culture, Christians are called to stay focused on their mission, follow God's way even when it seems ineffective, and trust the results to Him. Like a soldier, an athlete, and a farmer, we must remain faithful to our calling, knowing that the gospel is the priority and that God's ultimate victory is assured.
In this message, we explore the life of the Apostle Paul and his journey of conversion, calling, and commission. Paul's dramatic encounter with Jesus on the road to Damascus changed his life forever, and God used him to spread the gospel across thousands of miles. We are challenged to reflect on our own moments of salvation, how we position ourselves to hear God's voice, and how we can confidently live out the mission God has given us.
Think politics are messy? During this important election year there is a way to vote, speak and act with confidence. This month at First Wednesday we took a look at God's Word while considering the upcoming presidential election.
We have been discussing generosity in our lives, but how does that translate as a local church? How is Lineage rich in generosity? These are the questions that Pastor Ryan answered during the last installment of our Be Rich series as he prepared us to Reach, Connect, Go, and Grow this coming Sunday for our Serve Day, a day focused on serving our community through generosity.
